Wow, I guess there are more moms on here now than preggers!

Nims & Jayne - Eva, Zak & Oliver are absolutely gorgeous! I'm so happy for both of you!!! Congratulations again!!!! Please continue to send updated photos. :)

Su - How's little Oliver? I haven't seen any pics of him yet... but then I haven't been on FB.. I'll have to go and check!

And our Shantala and Rachel - hope your girls are kicking right along! Rach - sorry to hear about your grandfather passing. It is such a difficult time, even when you know they have lived a long, good life, your's is still at a loss when they are no longer in it... trust me... losing my grandmother this June has taken quite a toll on me too. Especially when you want them to be around for your little ones and share in all the joy they bring. You are in my prayers, sweetie.

Steph - haven't heard much from you lately, hope the twins are doing well. Seems like after our 2nd tri got here, time has flown, eh?! I know it has for me... I'm starting to have preparedness anxiety dreams - about all the little things I still need to do to prepare for him to arrive.

I've actually had a few scary dreams too - about losing him.. I know it's just a deep maternal thing, well, I'd guess so... but it's not like I've been obsessing - or even thinking about that possibiity... i guess it just creeps up in my dreams. Did/have any of you have these? It seems like it would be pretty normal, but I dunno.

Becky - good to hear from you! :) I try to catch up every now and then on the other thread, but it's hard to figure out what's going on! I miss you guys and still keep you all in my prayers - that God will bring you through and bless you with the precious desires of your heart. Please keep us posted on how things are going and how you are! You are such a special lady and I truly wish all the best for you!

Well, I guess I better get going... Saturdays always filled with preparation. I've got to get my list together for my sisters for the shower and hope to get started on my paintings for the baby's room this weekend. I've been trying to figure out the best way to make his mobile (since Dr. Seuss ones are hard to find) but I can't figure the best way to do it. If anyone knows of any good sites, please let me know!

Love & hugs to all of you!

su - how you doing?? and hows little oliver?

rachel - how are you and ruby?? wow, hasnt time just flown!!!! i'm still breastfeeding elliana as she wont take the bottle! ive had professional advice and we have tried different teats, different bottles, someone else giving it to her with me around/without me around, and she just wont have it!!! AND she feeds every 1.5-2 hours! you can imagine what a nightmare that is!! anyway, so ive started weaning her on to solids now. its my only option and i have to spoon feed her juice. must say, she takes it really well from the spoon so we're getting there. and she absolutely LOVES her food!! lol.....so hows ruby doing?? have you started her on any solids yet?? and how you feeling??

Hi! Hasn't it been quiet on here lately!
Oliver is doing well. He weighs over 11lb now so has sure made up for his small size at birth.
We're having a few problems with constipation but I've started giving him some water each day trying massage and leg exercises so hopefully it'll improve. He's also got 2 hernias - the umbilical one they probably won't treat as they usually resolve by 2 years old but he's being referred to the hospital for the one in his groin. I'm not looking forward to that as it'll probably mean surgery.
I put him in his own room last night for the first time - not a great success, he was really unsettled from 2am onwards so I'm really hoping for a better night tonight.

Shantala - the feeding sounds like a nightmare! I hope the solids help.

Rachel - Hope the toothache's better soon. I hope Oliver's sleeping as well as Ruby by that age. It sounds like she's doing really well.

Anyway, must go - need to sterilise the bottles before I can go to bed.
Good to hear from you

I am doing well. I have been on out of work rest now for 2 weeks so going a little stir crazy but it has helped because my bp was back down yesterday at the OB. I am just anxiously waiting on my short term disability to get approved. Should hopefully know by next week some time. Umm... I failed my 1 hour diabetes test so took the 3 hour test last Wed and passed that with flying colors so the gestational diabetes is no longer a threat. I have been fighting a head cold this week but other than that, everyone is doing well. Ryan and Emily are kicking everything in sight inside of me, and I mean everything. Their movements are becoming more visible now on the outside. DH always seems to move to the next spot when they kick and misses it. My DSD felt a kick the day of my shower, which was cool, but my poor neice has some calming effect on them and they stop as soon as she touches my belly just like my husband.

It is great to hear everyone's updates. Sorry I have not been on here in a while, just been resting and taking care of baby preparedness. I will address personals later this weekend. Has anyone heard from Waitingformia? I have not seen her post on her in a very long time. Anyways just wanted to drop in real quick and say hi. I am off to take a shower to see if it will clear up my nose.

Talk to you soon.

hi ladies, sorry i'm always MIA, but the twins keep me very busy. i have just started back at work one day a week and will be back part time in october, swapping with DH half way through the day.
the boys now weigh 10lb 5oz, and 11lb 2oz. and sleep from 7pm until between 3-5am,how lucky are we!!

Su, oliver is adorable, i cannot believe how much weight he has piled on, i thought mine were doing well.Re constipation my Hv said to put a couple of drops of orange juice in an couple oz of water, it works a treat. alos my SIl tried a cotton bud moistened with vaseline up the bottom, it works very fast (explosion be warned).

Shantala, sorry your having problems weaning ellianna off the breast, hope it gets easier soon, we are on complete bottle lost my milk being so ill.

rachel, wow can't believe how fast the time goes, hope Ruby is not too bad teething, can't wait for the fun and games of solids baby rice is yuck. glad your getting plenty of sleep, going back to work sucks though, i am lucky that i am only going back part time.

nims, hope Eva is doing ok and your getting into a good routine.

Miracle/ hope, thanks for the comments on the boys, i know i am biased.

catch you all soon

Su - what a cutie that little Oliver is!!! Congratulations again... i know you are loving being mommy!

Hi to everyone else... been busy trying to prepare for little one (no name yet) and tired, tired, tired... which I thought was just normal (and weight gain) but I found out after my diabetes testing that I am anemic (no diabetes tho!) So I am not "normally" tired, but need some extra iron! Working on that, so hopefully all will be well. All reports say my little guy is gonna get the iron he needs first (relief!), so I'm just working on getting mommy back in gear.

Back in the office for what will probably be my last U/S this Wed. Just checking the placenta, which was low-lying last time - will be good to see little guy again.

Wishing you all the best and hope you are enjoying some cooler weather... and not hurricanes!

hugs.

Hi Ladies, know that its been pretty quiet on here but guess we've all been a wee busy! Finally settling in to a good routine with Eva - she is already 8wks - can you believe it  where has the time gone. She is having her first jabs next week so not looking forward to that. she is growing so well - was 10lbs 7oz last week and is now smiling and laughing and just starting to make her own little noises - just melts my heart. Will try and post some recent piccies of her on here soon.

Steph, you're looking fab in your piccies - not long now hun! x

Rachel - hope the blood tests went well and news on ruby's first tooth yet??

Hope - wow not long for you either - you, steph and 'turtle' steph's pregnancies seem to have whizzed past so quickly. I had to have iron tablets too - unfort they do have the effect of stopping your bowl movements! So plenty of fruit!! How did your last u/s go??

Beachbaby - how are you coping with the boys ? Sounds fantastic especially if they are sleeping from 7pm til 3-5am - thats so good. Also going to pinch your advice to Su about constipation - they told me that b/f babies don't get constipation but poor lil Eva seems to!

Su - Oliver is adorable - how are the nights going - is he sleeping through yet??

Carolyn - how are you - must nip on to the other thread to see what you are up to. Steph (turtle ) is due to be induced on Friday so she is really happy about that.

Shantala - I'll catch up with you hopefully on the 24th for a good natter in person xxx

hugs to all

Hello everyone!!! Just a quick update. Pequele had her little Oliver yesterday, Sat Oct 18th. Not sure on the size yet but she was induced Friday and he finally came yesterday. She said everything went well.

I am doing well. 33 weeks this coming Tuesday. Have an US on Thur to see how the cervix is doing and see the size. They were 3 pounds 4 weeks ago, so I am hoping for 4.5 this time. We have an end in sight though. We talked to the doctor and if they do not come before then, then we will have a scheduled c section either the 24th or the 25th of November. So just 5 weeks left. I am so excited.

How is everyone else. It seems like pretty much everyone has had their babies except Hope and I, right? Pequele said she heard from Mia and she is still doing well. I don't know if she has had her baby yet, but I am sure soon if not.

Talk to everyone soon.
Steph
