Spoke briefly to my nurse Jamie today, who told me they will be putting me on a synthetic thyroid med starting tomorrow for 6 weeks to help lower the level to where they like to see it for this clinic. Checking the thyroid and even the prolactin levels is something that normally is done at baseline but it takes up to two weeks to get the results back. However with that said they still think it was a male factor for our last IUI not working, but even with 7 follicles, that has me questioning maybe the timing? I mean we only had 17 hours from the trigger shot and I was so sick from a 24 virus I couldn't try again.
I keep wanting to find an easier solution or a least a diagnosis something wrong? But you know me, I did ask her about the folic acid and she told me they like to see around 1000mg of folic acid intake so my One-A-Day's with 400mg is not enough on their own. I thought maybe once we got pg we could increase the intake, but I'm not going to dabate this any longer...My doctor prescribed Neevo and CVS called me back to tell me the order has shipped, so I might as well go all the way with following my RE's recommendations. Neevo is a multivitamin with a higher folic acid intake but is easier for the body to absorb. Lastly, my nurse told me to call them once my next cycle starts, but I'm thinking maybe dh and I should give this 6 wks before trying another round of fertility treatment, maybe sometime around mid-October? Not sure if I can wait that long, probably not.

Anyway I'm looking forward to next April for the biggest tax writeoff ever.

But wouldn't it be nice IF bills could be delayed until after the baby comes home, think of it like a "Family Addition Loan." Ok time for sleep before I get too carried away with my crazy analytical ideas...As for loans, some clinics do offer financing options, but I don't know why ALL of them don't offer financing being that so any of us go through fertility treatment. Maybe they are afraid we wouldn't pay them back and just keep the new baby? I personally know I would give my whole house to have a little one running around.
I got to see Belles, (my neighbor's little girl) for a little bit this evening, she stayed and ate sphagetti for dinner with us at the table. I kept thinking now this is what a family would very well feel like. Lots of love and well wishes to all of you-
