Hey AMITHIS!

Great news about the meds. My meds were covered too. Thank the lord for that. Hope things work for you, which I'm sure they will. This is my first cycle so I don't know anything about freezing them yet.
I say take all four and see what happens. You'll be fine you watch.

Hello hello hello,

Tonya I am on the same boast as you. 1st time IVF, I am not sure what to expect (!), and I am not in a position to give advice on it, so for now instead of giving I just take, take and take..... hopefully in couple of weeks I am able to give instead of taking for a change.

Staci, glad to haer everthing went well this time, keep well :).

Nicki, are you sleeping sound??? I hope so.

Vicki, Debbie, Mia and Kerry, HI!, yep I am new to this buddy group.

Mia, like you said - our time to SHINE is nigh!! each and every one of us on this thread will have HGP!!!!

Debbie, you are lucky that your mum is a nurse, I will have to do mine myself, but everyone here says it is not so bad. So I will manage. (I hope... :? ).

Kerry, did you get your results back from a blood test... too ealry yet ...? I hope all is well. Still a long way to go yet but let's hope this month will go quickly for all of us.

Sharon, my nusband and I keep in contact via eyeball chat and last night we tried skype, I think I like this one better. Technology is such a wonderful thing!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone, chat again soon.

Hello All,
I'm really trying to keep up with the PMA but am finding it hard now. I'm REALLY fed up with the sniffing - makes my sinuses hurt after this length of time. I'm also really impatient to get onto the injections (sounds a bit warped but it means that we're getting closer). I'm really not feeling too optimistic about this final attempt working so I guess I just want it over as soon as possible. I fgure at least this way I'll be even more over the moon if it works. I'm trying to keep positive about it but it's really hard right now.

The rest of you seem to be coping ok so please send some positive vibes my way.

Take care all

Love

Hello! I am new to the boards as you may know if you saw my two intro's!(The second an oops). I met with my RE this month and expect to start a protocol next month. Can anyone tell me what to expect?

I saw someone earlier refer to the shots. Well, three days after our consultation with our RE, we learned our dog as diabetes and is on insulin shots. Trying to find a positive to everything (not always easily done!), my husband and I decided it was great practice for when I start mine!

Hi Wendy, welcome to the board :D

I cant really tell you what to expect as I have only just started IVF, i started down reg injections on 12th July. However I am sure that plenty of other people will be able to help. All I can say is that the injections are not any where as bad as I thought they would be :D The side effects that I have had are that I am so tired all the time and mood swings arent good  but im sure it will all be worth it. PMA PMA PMA :D

Will it be a daily injection that you have to give your dog :?: Poor thing.

Hello Ladies!

I'm new to the board and excited to be joining all of you on theis journey. I am in the middle of my FET cycle and will probably have ET around the 29th of July. Loving the Lupron injections! ( Excited to be nearing the end of them.) I also am using estrogen patches, I'm up to three at one time now. Get to start Progesterone shots very soon...not thrilled about that needle! Keeping a PMA and staying busy until my time comes for ET. It's great to hear your stories! WHat a great group of women!

Hello All,
Guess there are a lot of us on this thread now. Best of luck to everyone. I'm not feeling so bad today - had a good weekend - got lots done in the garden and have had a lovely walk by the harbour with dh.
Have my baseline scan tomorrow so hopefully by the afternoon I'll have the go ahead to start injections on Tuesday. I know I'll feel more psotive about things then, even though the physical side of things will be more difficult.

Keep smiling girls and keep up the PMA.

Love

There are so many of this at this point I'm having a hard time keeping track!

UltimateMama,

It looks like you will be the first one of us to get to ET unless I'm missing someone!

Mia,

Are you still around? Haven't heard much from you!

Debbie,

Good luck with the scan tomorrow! Things will move along quickly after that I'm sure.

Tiger,

I wish I could do the spray so I wouldn't have to rely on DH but I don't know of any clinic here in the US that uses it; only the injections.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I start downregging on Thurs. I'm feeling so impatient at this point! Meanwhile, I have a consultation at a new clinic tomorrow morning (in case this FET doesn't work). I've heard really good things about the Dr. so am interested in hearing what he has to say.

What is the spray I keep hearing about? What drug does it replace? Just curious.

I think its for downregging, prior to IVF.

Maybe one of the other gals can answer clearer, I'm due for IUI, so this is a little out of my area.

Ultimatemama,

The spray (one brand name is synarel) does the same thing as lupron (brand name in the states; I think the brand name in the UK is buselrin) injections.

Hope that makes sense!

Are you in the US?
