Hello girls. I just got a call from my doc - my next scan will be 3/25 and the are looking at doing ER possibly by end of next week! Wow it is really getting here!

Jen - you are probably going to be having ER around same time as me. I am sending follie dust your way for upcoming scan! And I am with you on the bloating - I have been wearing my big pants for two days now - lol

Deirdre - 3/28 will be here before you know it! Less than a week! Good luck.

Lucy - I am joining the others in jigging for you - along with the others who are anticipating AF - she can be so stubborn sometimes!

Angela - the big day is tomorrow, right? Looking forward to hearing how it goes. I will be thinking of you.

That's it for now - bye gals.

Lola and Angela,

Good luck tomorrow!! Get lots of rest and get pampered tomorrow!

Lisa, you are almost there! Sounds like you have responded well to the stimms and will have great results. This is such an exciting stage - watching the follies get bigger each time you go in! I responded better than they thought so they were having me come in every day for E2 checks and scans. Even though I started looking like a heroin addict, it was cool to see the little follies growing. They look really cool. I always noticed the big ones and would say hi to them! The nurses prolly thought I was crazy!

Deidra, sending sticky thoughts your way for those embies to stay glued in place!

Daly, I am thinking good thoughts for you too! Hoping you are having a good time in CA. :)

I do think this month is gonna be extra fruitful thanks to our efforts and hard work and positive thinking!!

I really have to watch myself, almost flew off the handle on my boss. Man she got on my last nerve and it took all I had in me not to rip into her! Hormones, Hormones!! I think it's only going to get worse when I start on the estrogen!!! Oh boy...look out!!

Yes, Allison I am almost there and i am VERY excited. Seeing the follies on the screen makes it all hit home. I can see why you were saying "hi" to them. I called my dh after my appt. and got all emotional when I told him that those follies could end up being our children - it feels amazing to be this close after waiting so long!!

And beware of those RAGING HORMONES - lol!! I know all too well what you mean there - so does my dh since he takes the brunt of it!

Lola - good luck to you tomorrow. Didn't mean to leave you out before - there are so many to keep up with! (which is a good thing)

If someone wants to update the list - my next scan is 3/25. I would do it myself but I am not the most computer-literate person and I am afraid I would mess it up - lol!

Check in with you all later!

Hi March/April Buddies!

I'm new to the Board and have found it a great help already. I've been reading some of your posts and would like to join you here.

I'm waiting for AF too, which was expected last weekend, and am due to go for tests and scans on day 1-3 for the doctor to decide on how to proceed. Just a short history: I have unexplained infertility and a slightly high FSH level. My first IVF cycle, a short protocol with Menogon/Synarela, had to be abandoned last month because I didn't respond. Looking forward to getting started with IVF and hope the doctor will find some meds which work for me this time round.

After a long, cold winter, spring is finally arriving here too. A good time of year for all of us.

Wishing you all lots of SUNSHINE :D and PMA!!! :D

Hi all! Welcome Sonix! You will love it here. Being able to chat with women who are going through similar things really does help you when going through the process. Personally - my mental attitude has improved a lot since I joined. (Thank you all you wonderful ladies!)

My legs are getting sore from jigging so much! What is up with stubborn AF?? Hope she shows up soon for all of you.

Have a great day everyone!

Hey ladies!!
Welcome Sonix! Hope AF comes soon for you!!

AF came for me on March 8th and it wasn't really heavy at all and ever since then, I have been spotting. Nothing that even needs a pantyliner but when I wipe its brownish. Wonder how long this is going to go on! I have my scan tomorrow to I guess check my lining and then they'll start me on the Estrace and I think cut back on the Lupron. Maybe then it will stop.

Hope you ladies on 2ww have a nice weekend coming up and taking it easy! Let those little embies get comfy!

I met someone online here that lives near me in Dallas and she told me about her Dr. and how he has this IVF guarantee. If you agree to only transfer 1 embie and it doesn't work he will do the next cycle for free. It's his way of reducing the number of multiple births. I thought man I wish I knew about this guy before I started! And he has one of the highest success rate in Texas. So we might look into that one day if this doesn't work for us. Who knows! :?

Have a great day everyone!

Allison - I had spotting for a couple of weeks when I first started Lupron. Then I got my AF when I was supposed to (3/6) and it was very light. About 2 or 3 days later I completely stopped spotting - but it seemed like it went on forever! I know what you mean.

Lola - congrats on those two embies! Sending baby dust your way!

Jen - follie dust for you! Good luck with your scan. They are just so exciting, aren't they? Each scan takes us one step closer. Good luck - let us know how it goes!

Lola...congrats! I just realized I did IVF back in October too when you did yours and now we are doing FET same time too!
Hoping we both get the BFP's we've been waiting for!! :D

It'll be a few more weeks til I get to my ET though.

I have found the cutest fabric and my sis-in-law is an awesome seamstress. She said she is all ready to start on baby bedding but I told her no don't jinx me!! But we are thinking postively!

My DH has decided to give our 2 embies that will be transferred the nicknames Thor and Xena!! He said they needed strong warrior names so they will stick! HAHA He is so funny...

Problem

Post by melliot7 »

We have the consent forms to sign. Now we have to decide on how many embies to transfer. Any help. Any studies out there that you may know of?

History - I am 27 and DH is 30. We have had 4 failed IUI's and unexplained infertility. The doctor said it is really up to us but we should not do more then 3.

So do we do 3 or 2? I was thinking of just two but as time goes by maybe 3 is better. Just to increase the chance.

Worried and confused. My head is swimming all different direction. I think it may be worse because I am DR now. And AF is due to start on Tuesday. It seemed that it was taking forever now here it comes. DH is taking the brunt of it all. Two days ago he baked me warm cookies. And last night he surprised me with mac and cheese. He said that is real comfort food. I am so glad to have him.

Angela – Hurray on the IUI! Deep Breathing for the 2ww.. I know that will be tough for me because im not really a patient person about things like this.

Lola - I am so excited for you! I am hoping for a BFP the first time around but if not then I will be thawing too. If I’m lucky enough to get enough to freeze to begin with!

Sonix – Welcome to the board. I have found a ton of information here and its nice to know that others are doing the same thing you are when you feel so all alone.

Lisa and Jen I think your both about a week ahead of me in this whole process, which is nice cause you can tell me how it is!

Hello!

After 2 1/2 weeks away from this forum imagine my surprise when I logged on and saw that I was on page 5 of 15..............so much going on!

Welcome to all the new people - hope your cycles are progressing well.

For those experiencing hassels - my thoughts are with you.

For those on your 2ww - rest up and keep positive :).

We have finally arrived back in Australia - what a trip. We ended up travelling for more than 24 hours to get here - thank goodness it is over!

EC, fertilisation and ET, all went well. We had two blastocysts transfered on the 18th March and actually had some good quality embryo's to freeze this time as well. Now for the two week wait..........

Good luck to everyone.

Cheers Di
