kala - I didn't feel like eating after my first child...DS (now 20 months). I'm eating ok with this one, but I had more symptoms last week...sore boobs, nausea, headaches, etc... Since late last week I've not had any of the symptoms I was having. How far along are you? I had a 5dt on Oct. 6th...it looks like we may be real close! For some reason my u/s wasn't scheduled until 11/11, but I got it moved to 11/10. However, since I'm panicing my RE is allowing me to come in tomorrow morning for an early u/s...but we won't be able to see the heartbeat...only a sac(s).

Another question...if my beta was 1148 is that high? I had two embies transferred 10/6 (5dt), and my beta was on 10/20, so I would be 19dpo or 14dpt, correct?

syanna I am so so so sorry for your BFN. Certainly take some time off to regroup but this is NOT over. You will get your BFP, just stick with it and do not give up. You will find a way!

mharrell- Your beta seems like a pretty strong number and symptoms can come and go and are different for anyone so I would not worry too much and just know that you have a good beta #, it's aaallllll about the beta! Just to compare betas...my 1st was 10dpt at 292, 2nd was 12dpt at 633...probably would have been around 1300-1500 at 14dpt and 5216 at 18dpt. I will find out Wed. if i have 1 or 2 in there but I have a feeling it's 2...your betas are just a little lower than mine so there's a chance you have 2 in there I would think!! GL babes! It'll be interesting to see tomorrow!!

Syanna - I am so sorry. I know it has to be hard, but just know that you are in a lot of people's prayers right now.

AFM - I POASed (actually on 3 of them) and they all have 2 lines. I have my beta on 10/29, so I am cautiously optimistic. I have enough to take one every day until Thursday when I get bloodwork. Then I go back to work on Friday, 10/30.

I had my second beta today and it more than double. Sat it was 90 and today 220. I get my first scan next wednesday. Thank you girls for all the support, I haven't share the news with my family yet and is great to have so much support.

mharrell-Hey! I check betabase.info for you and the median beta # is 1170...so you are completely in the normal range. I checked my books and it said it could be completely normal to not have anymore systems. Are you still peeing a lot? Im worried about you. Good luck tomorrow!!! Keep us posted.

AFM-got my 2nd beta back-234!!! HorrrrayyyY! They dont do a 3rd beta...so I have to wait til the 11th for my U/S. Aaaaahhhhhh I cant wait!!!

LOL...i just saw a First Response HPT commercial and they are promoting it as "just for women". I am confused...so is that as oppose to men?

Mharrell-let me rephrase that...your beta was the median for twins at 19dpo.

Bei- I see Jacobs at Fertility Centers of Illinois. I like him, he seems really knowledgable. Of course I have not had the positive results I have been looking for (so far ) But everyone is very friendly and supportive. Wolfie also sees him and got 2 pregnancies out of 2 IVF cycles.

kala - Well, I just got back from mr RE's office...they did an u/s since I was worried. Everything looks good...it's too early to see a heartbeat just yet (I'm about 5.5 weeks along); however, we did see TWO sacs...TWINS!!!! I'm super excited! We won't be able to see if there are two HB until Nov. 10th...ughhh...feels like a long way off. Kala, when do you have your u/s? I think we'll be pretty close together....

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to earn some extra ca$h?...I'm going to need it to put these two in daycare!

mharrell - Congrats on seeing TWO sacs! I hope you see TWO strong heartbeat at your next US and patience dust to you until then Daycare for TWO will certainly not be easy to cough up. Some daycares will offer a teeny tiny discount for the second one, but nothing big..I guess every little bit helps so be sure to ask when you start checking around.

Lisa10 - I DID NOT POAS this morning...I was SOOOO tempted to stop on my way home from work last night and buy just one...but I did not and I am super proud of myself. I know if I can make it you can to! Will tomorrow ever come? You can hold out until Friday..I know you can!

So I have tried every scam possible to move up my beta and nothing. Wolfie on here sees my same RE, she asked to move her's up and they did. Me no way. So first I said why is it 13 days when last time was 10. No stays 13, they said they need to be sure. I asked a few nurses this. No stays 13 days. So I realized my last dose of PIO is for Friday. Like I'm all out then on my beta day. So if I get more it might be a waste or if I don't order it, I may need it. So I called and asked again if I could move it up or else I need to buy a new bottle that I may not use. No still nothing. I am going crazy here. WHY do I need to wait three days longer when I didn't even trigger??? I'm out of ideas now. Friday it is. I will not POAS!!!

sancap14- I'm not sure I know how to answer your question but I know they transfered two day 5 embies/blacosyst on October 8, then I took the test on the 22nd so I guess that's 14 days. Then the first beta was the 22nd and every three days they give me another test for my beta. My last one is tomorrow.

Am I nervous, Yes and know, I remember when I was pregnat the first time, the lord sent this man who did not know me but knew my husband, to tell him that we would be preg by the end of the year, and it would be a girl. Mind you this guy had no idea we were even trying to have a baby, and it was already in the month of december. Sure enough, i took my preg test dec 30th 2005, and was preg and I told my doctor I was going to have a girl because the lord told me and sure enough I had a girl and I named her Faith. He also said to rashad in his prophecy do you have twins in your family? So I took that as god telling me the next time it will be twins. We shall see next week. The funny thing is, it's the end of the year again hahah four years later. If you can, I posted a story called Positive Story about 4 years ago, under my name tonyacheek24, if you can read it when you have some time, it's an uplifting and true story. God was speaking to me the entire time. The same way as he did this time.
I'm nervous about having twins but i know the lord will provide. I just want them to be healthy and make it in this world ok

Lisa10 - do you think it is because of the chemical last time that they are making you wait until Friday? This way your Beta numbers are likely to be higher and stronger causing less of a doubt in anyones mind? I know I will just be insane if my Beta comes back tomorrow and is really low. I would almost rather wait until Friday and see a big strong number! I am here with you going crazy in this unbelievable journey! Stay Strong!
