I just wanted to say to all the BFN ladies and those waiting in the 2ww that I'm so sorry if my news is hurtful to you. I know how much it sucks when someone else gets that BFP and you don't. I'll keep posting here to keep y'all updated, but I'll try to obsess a little less. I wanted to apologize for my outbursts over the last few days - I was just so shocked and excited that I wanted to share my news and I didn't think much about how hard it is to hear. I'll keep things a bit calmer from now on.

Now for the next 2ww..... my clinic does a beta at 17dpo (or 16 for me this time since 17 would be a Friday and they are closed). Then they schedule an u/s for one week and two weeks after that (the first to check on how many embryos took and the second to check for a heartbeat). So hopefully, if all goes well, I'll have a beta this Thursday, and u/s the Thursdays after that. Thursday is my new favorite day!

Cannot freeze because apparently there are concerns as to the rightful embryos going to the rightful people- but you can freeze eggs and do IVF???!!!! WFT?! Spoken with my new LOVELY LOVELY RE (wife of the original doc) again who has given me her reasons for not proceeding- am as "happy" as I can be in the circumstances and I DO trust her/have faith in her. Will wait for my proper WFT appintment in a few days (hopefully when DH back) and see what we do next. In the meantime, pass the cork screw....

To keep you all amused, after normal ultra sound today they did another one to get a better picture... one where they use the contraptions to expand your bits (like a PAP smear but I deeper and wider) and then fill your uterus with saline water. So I have this lovely new doc that I've met for the first time today, am "lying back and thinking of England" with tears running down my cheeks from the bad news when doc asks me if I'm OK... I mean to say sowething to the effect of 'I've had better days' but instead say whilst she has probe and water squirter inside me "I've had better". OOOOPS

Leora...It's so sweet of you to think of others...but speaking for myself...I love seeing the pee sticks and being happy for you girls...AND I am in the middle of a miscarriage...so I would imagine that if "I" want you and others to show them off and be happy...then I am sure that others do, too. No worries.

Margi...Go to Hollywood and get a pic of you standing on the stars...and then post it for us! Be sure to stand on nwquiz's star, lol. Just pick the one you "think" she is. Your numbers rock!!

As for the eggs, RE said freezing not ideal at my age (40 in September) and she would only recommend if it (the premature lutenisation) keeps happening and we're essentially left with no other choices. In her view (and I really like her and trust her), a fresh cycle with a lower stim dose and checking my progesterone all the time would be better. Looks like we could be going again around the same time Mrs- COME ON, it's got to be our turn!!!!

LYD- Two things: 1) I used to FRER test too and got lighter lines in the AM., and 2) on the peeonastick.com website they say you can have 3 diff sicks in the same box and they look totally diff. It depenz on the amt of dye in the test. So it make since that the control line and test line were both light in that one stick. Hang on to hope.

I go back in to clinic in the morning and then ER on Wednesday!! And if 3 day transfer...I will be PUPO on Saturday!!

Sorry to be a board-hog today!! Can you see that I am getting excited?! My only "worry" is the acupuncture. I called someone that the clinic recommended...she seemed really nice, etc on the phone and clearly has experience with doing this for ET, but as I was getting off the phone I asked the fee...$500 OMG...that wasn't in our budget...is that just what is "expected" here in Beverly Hills!? I got some numbers from the hotel lobby I am going to try to call to see if I can get someone else. I mean, really?!

Margi...I just saw your siggy and forgot that you have dealt with OHSS before...what was your numbers like then? So, you know what to look for...take it easy on your ovaries with carrying luggage and all that, too.

Thanks Tammy...I will do my very best to "deliver" your prize! I was so ignorant and naive that first go round that resulted in OHSS...I know they retrieved 28 eggs that first time. I didn't even know what E2 level was then...I really could kick myself for being so "blind" about everything. I think it was like 6700, but I don't have my records with me in Cali. I know that I feel full now, but no where near what I felt like then. That was really miserable, and I didn't know to expect any different so I assumed that was just what happened in IVF. Then I got so sick and quickly learned differently (I was in that scary 1% rare cases). I will get some gatorade just to be on the safe side, but I really think I will be ok. I was also taking scary high doses of meds that cycle compared to the tiny "micro" doses I am now taking. I will definitely not be lugging any luggage. DH arrives any minute now and he will be my Bell Boy!

Margie - congrats on the trigger tomorrow! Wowzers - your E2 is up there! have you ever had it that high before? if yes, then you know what you are dealing with. if no, drink lots of gatorade. which i am sure you know to do as we are all veterans here at this point. never mind - i just rest the previous posts - sounds like you are all set there

As for the accu - my acupuncturist charges $75 if you come to her before or after the transfer and $250 if she travels on site to you (maybe $275 - i dont remember exactly). I wouldnt be surprised if Beverly Hills is at least double the rest of Cali.

leorira- no need to apologize my friend. i agree with the rest. we all look forward to good. bad and neutral news. but really like the positive hpt which brightens our day and makes us look forward to the next day and more hpt's. As for poas, can you imagine i just left walmart and all hpt were sold out. only have the digital kind for over 12 bucks. and i was prepared with my two coupons thanks to Tammy,s idea on the coupon. target has them but way more expensive at 9bucks. So no i have not poas yet but am so dying to start peeing not that i expect much but to be sure the trigger is our of my system.
Caro- hope you feel better soon. Now let those follies grow. I dont know much about dhea but i tried it this cycle. dont know if it made a difference as to why i responded real fast to the meds. Oh i think Rio said its recommended to stop the supplements while stimming.you may want to check on that one.
Tammy- thanks the lord Af showed up. not for a good reason after a mc but so that you can move forward to the next cycle. I dont know what is really recommended as far as dosage, my doc doen not even recommend it.

Hi ladies - well i used up my 3rd and final stick tonight. it was about as dark as it was last night. the good news it was darker than the one this morning, so i guess i am one of those people that get better results in the afternoon. the bad news - it was not at all darker than 24 hours ago (last night). that i don't like. this early on the beta should double every 24 hours ( or at least go up by 50%) - which would add significant color to the line. judging from the color of the two lines - the beta is staying flat. tomorrow afternoon i'll know for sure. in any case no more sticks for me. i just dont have the stomach for them.
