Ack! Blessed! How frustrating is that? I have two hpts sitting on my counter at home. I wish they were with me now. I had a nightmare last night that AF came and I'm on my MIL's white sheets.

I was sitting next to another girl who was getting ready for her ER also and she had the exact same issue as you did. Her right ovary had a blood vessel that was keeping the doctor from gaining access. So she also had to only have her left ovary supply the eggs. I had never heard of that issue before her but now after seeing you post the same issue I see that it is possibly more common than I orginally thought. So dont be scared, your doctor knows what is best! Also, I got 11 eggs from BOTH ovaries, so dont feel too low about your 8...its still a good number! Out of the 11 eggs by our day 5 transfer we fell down to only 2 good viable embryos and although I was devestated that there would be none to freeze for a second round, God forbiding this time didnt work, we are choosing to look at this as Gods way of saying "This is all you need because this time is gonna work!!" God also knows whats best and if He didnt feel like 8 was enough, you would have had a different outcome. Trust in God girl!

Samantha- this is exactly how DH and I feel about having 12 eggs, down to 11, down to only 4 fertilizing then getting the news that the embabies had to be a day 3 transfer bc of growth issues. It took me a bit to come to that but we definitely see it that way now. Thank you for writing that so succinctly!

I'm laying in bed at 4am at my DH's parents as he is in Detroit for business. MIL is the best in the world and we had fun cooking together last night. She's a great southern cook. I made them chicken parmesan, spaghetti and bread with parmesan/mozzarella broiled on. She made a wonderful Olive Garden type salad and homemade peach cobbler. So sup good! My sister in law came over to eat with us and give me my pio shot. Evidently I walked out of my house yesterday morning without my numbing cream. I was so scared and so was she! I told her how when dh does it I hold on to these little john dere socks DH brought home and say little baby feet, little baby feet while he shoots me up. So I'm laying on the guest room bed and herr she comes going, little baby feet little baby feet! She was more nervous than I was lol.
I don't feel pregnant. The et was a week ago yesterday. We go in for beta this monday. I broke down and bought hpts but I couldn't use them dh keeps calling me Peter and saying to trust Him. I don't doubt for a second that He can, I just don't know if He will.....AF would likely be today or tomorrow and I'm crampy. But I've been crampy this whole week. I'm in 2ww hell.[/quote]

Julia73- I had my ET on Halloween, so one day before you and I too dont feel any different really...I keep saying that if this worked than I should be feeling pregnant...but like my nurses said, with all the hormones and the rollercoaster ride of all this dont be surprised if you dont feel pregnant...also, its still very early. The embies can take up to a week to implant so if you do the math you may only be a couple days pregnant right now which is WAY early for symptoms! Every woman is different and will expierence her own journey so try not to compare yourself to everyone else and how they feel...some women dont know they are pregnant until a month or so...Also, with the HPT, my doctor and nurses urged me NOT to take them before the blood test. Due to all the hormones it could possibly give me a false positive and they dont want me to go thru the emotional torture of that so they just want me to wait until Monday for the blood test. Its sooo hard waiting but I know its probably for the best. That way no false negatives and no false positives...

DH and I went today to find out the results to his MRI/EEG/Sleep study. His disc 4-6 are pushing in some and he has degenerative disc disease. How much more bad news can I take. She said he doesn't need surgery for now and thinks that could possibly be why his body goes numb from time to time. He goes back in a year to see how it is.

I am really zonked, so I am going to skip out on personals today (though I am still reading along ). I just wanted to update you guys on my embryo transfer today. As I wrote before, I was really concerned we would have no embryos left to transfer come day 5 since things weren't looking so great the morning of day 3. In the end, I had 2 medium quality blastocysts to transfer today:) I also have one morula that is under observation - depending on whether it progresses to blast tomorrow and how it looks, it may be frozen.

Here's what is crazy: on day 3, I had two very nice 8-cell embryos with little to no fragmentation that stood out above the rest (the ones my RE thought perhaps I should just transfer on day 3). My remaining 5 embryos were all 6 cells and fragmented. It turns out that both of my nice 8-cell embryos arrested and the 2 blasts and morula are all from the group of fragmented, 6-cell embryos! Anyhow, I am feeling relieved and even (for once!) cautiously hopeful.

Sunshine : I probably didnt explain that properly. I didnt tell my client about my miscarriage or cry about that with her. It was when I was with my client before I knew I was pregnant and she told me her daughter miscarried. It was a very painful story and I found myself moved to tears. She told me yesterday that it was only when she saw me so moved that she could cry, that my tears had given her permission to cry.I am absolutely praying for you x

Hey ladies! I hope you all are doing fantastic today!

Well, im 9 days past my 5 day transfer and I go in first thing Monday morning for my blood test. I really dont "feel" pregnant and havent really had any symptoms either. I guess im waiting for something to scream that it worked. Lol. I know its still early and that symptoms usually dont show up for a couple weeks but im going crazy! I broke down and called my nurse because I was like "if this worked shouldnt I be feeling different!?!" But she says that with all the hormones Ive been on and the Progesteron in oil and estrodial pills my body is going to be misleading and confused so its not uncommen to not "feel" pregnant. They said most women dont feel pregnant even all the way up to the pregnancy test after the 2ww. Its even worse since my doctor doesnt want me POAS because they dont want me to get any false results, negative or positive. They want me to just wait the full 2 weeks and do my blood draw Monday. Its been so hard not to break down and take a HPT but I know my nerves arent worth wrecking with false results so I know its better to just wait.

We are praying for good news Monday! Prayers are welcomed by you all!!

Thanks all. Well his Doctor mention nothing that could help him, so loving google I looked into it and he can do some things to help strengthen is neck. So we'll do that and see if it helps.
