Thanks Shantala...Yep this is our 1st time. My dr is a specialist and he recommended it (PCOS/Hubby factor) but our money just wasn't there. But now, things have changed and I decided to go for it. It's something we both want so we jumped at the opportunity.

How are we all? Hiya Cinny, welcome to ur ew home for the next few weeks - here u will be guided thru the IVF process with some of the most amazing women, who im honoured to know. You have come to the right place, good luck with ur treatment, fingers crossed for you My DH was only too pleased to give me the injections too lol - i was sooooo nervous the night b4 i didnt sleep a wink, but when he did it, i was like - Oh i dont think that went in!! It really is nothing to it and in the end i did them myself.

Anyway ladies - no news this end, i finished my first week in my new job - its brilliant and i love it. Its only temp for 6 mths - its ironic really cos im covering maternity leave lol - im hoping that if i sit on the same chair as the girl who's on maternity leave, it might just bring me some luck lol. She had her baby boy on New Years day.

Shantala: Tuesday the big day then Im so glad that ur finally gonna be on the roller coaster and starting ur ride. I have my fingers crossed for u hun, a young wee lass like u should have no problems lol.

Raintree: Glad u got ur 2 wee babies back where they belong. When do u do ur test - remember, put ur feet up, relax and enjoy ok, good luck to u hun, ive everything crossed for u

Ok they called and confirmed it....I am pregnant. My HCG level is 134. I go back in on Monday for a second beta then I schedule my sono to see how many.

yeah, i guess i'm the baby of the group!! but unfortunately not your average 21 year old, what with a dh and a mortgage!! lol. (and debt once we've finished this lovely journey!)

AMC.... Yipee! So happy for you. Can't wait to hear those numbers double and how many are snuggled in.

Fed.. I actually did have a huge argument with DH the night of my first Prog. shot. I was so tense getting it, but it worked in my favor. After he gave me the shot he said...' I know you think I enjoyed that, but I didn't and it hurt me more than it hurt you' then he gave me a big hug.

My2.. the stats on your embies are awesome!! You must be so happy! One step closer to your BFP!

Raintree and Trans and My... hang in there over the 2WW, it truly is the hardest part of this whole process. PMA and sticky baby dust to you.


Shantala.. I had my hair done today too! AF and IBF together, that's just not fair! Feel better!! Try not to worry about the shots. If you can do one, you can do more. They really are not too bad. At one point I was up to 5 a day in my belly. The only bad thing about that was that one burned. I did however have quite a happy face on my belly. The injection sites looked like a grin under my belly button.

Becleo... LOL on the visual for my calendar. One of my 3 dogs snores too and she's only 10 lbs! I swear she and my husband were having a contest last night.

Lara... hope the headaches feel better soon. Funny, I didn't realize I was always hot while taking all the hormones, but when I stopped I was always cold. Now I know why. Never put it together. Getting ready to start heating up again!

Beachbaby... Welcome back! Hard to believe we can actually live without computers, right? Glad to hear you're on track for 1st week in Feb. This thread is going be hopping the first 2 weeks in Feb!! I should say even more hopping!

As for me, my itchies are getting better thank god. I now am waiting for the right side of my abdomen to heal so I can start alternating my Lupron shots. I don't remember if I mentioned that when I had my m/c, I fell asleep with the heating pad and blistered my belly. I did turn it off, but apparently the damage was already done and I had even scratched the blisters in my sleep. UGH So now I'm just waiting for the blisters to heal before I can inject on that side. What a mess I've been. Now I know why DH is worried about me going on Heparin. All is healing though, and the beat goes on.

Hi, everyone.

I had my 3rd u/s today and everthing looked good. I have 7 follies on the left and 5 on the right. Dr. says retrieval will likely be Tuesday. I have another appt tomorrow and one Monday.

Raintree: Congratulations and good luck with your 2 embies. Praying for a BFP for you on the 26th.

Ange: I'm glad it sounds like you finally figured out what the "creeping crud" was and you have it under control now.

TansR: I hope your precious embryo gives you a BFP. It only takes one.

Jodic: So happy to hear you didn't ovulate and everything is still on track. Good luck with your scan.

Shantala: Sorry to hear you're in so much pain. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Fed: I'm on three injections as well - Gonal-F 300/Menopur 75/Lupron 5. Hubby gives me my injections. With the Gonal and Menopur, he was like Ange's hubby and said it hurt him more than it hurt me - because those two always stung and he felt bad that I was uncomfortable. But we found out that if it is injected slowly, I really don't feel the burn all that much.

I've been here a couple weeks and these ladies are a great resource because so many of them have already gone through what we are going through. Lots of information can be obtained here (once you figure out all the abbreviations and can understand what the heck they're saying . )
