Rio- That is such great news that Lizzy gained 12 oz in 7 days! She sounds like shes already got you wrapped around her little fingers and is already so advanced! I absolutely love the pics of Lizzy and her brother. He looks so sweet just laying his head next to her. Still not budging on the names but on the plus side- only 12-16 more wks without knowing :D.

Ryann- Wow they are getting so big!!! I think that the GERD is more common with preemies isn’t it? Hopefully the Nutramigen formula helps even though I’ve heard it costs an arm and a leg. My sister in law actually switched her baby to it yesterday and said she’s already much better and isn’t spitting up or as gassy. You should definitely ask your doctors office about samples because I know they were able to give her a lot of them and told her just to come back every now and then to get more. As for the miracle blanket I'm hoping you ordered from the Miracle Blanket website since they offer a 15% discount for twins. I may have to look into those but I think they may be a lot like the swaddleme blankets we registered for.

Mamaboo- Funny that you said Denver is a soccer player…sometimes I think the girls may have some sort of ball in there that they kick back and forth. I’ve been in meetings and just sit and watch as my stomach bounces out one side and then the other. Hopefully the bed rest isn’t treating you too badly and you can keep your sugars under control.

Lou- That’s a great deal on the car seat you all got. We are actually ordering our second seat kit from Allbeebaby.com since it is $30 cheaper on that site than all the other locations. I think your weight gain is right on track!! I have yet to measure my waist and how huge its gotten…but when I mentioned thinking it had at least doubled in size my mom reassured me that she thought it had already tripled. Its also great you’ve avoided stretch marks so far. Even though I know its probably inevitable, every morning that I wake up without them I get happy.

Kat- Hope you all had a nice trip to Canada. Glad you are feeling the little guy kicking now. Did you all decide whether you were going to keep his name a secret or not?

AFM- Went back to MFM yesterday and both girls are doing absolutely great! Baby A was measuring 1 lb even and baby B was measuring 1.1 lbs- both about 22wk1d which was 2 days ahead. She said they looked great. It was hilarious watching them because they were both flipping and kicking all over the place trying to avoid having pictures of their faces. She even tried getting some 3D but every one of them included a hand on the face. We even got to see baby A sucking on her thumb which was cute to watch her little mouth doing the sucking motion. She said the rash looks like a contact dermatitis and to wear dresses for awhile and avoid pants with a band. She said since I see my regular OB Friday that she would be able to tell me what else I should be doing. Its starting to itch like crazy though so hopefully the dresses help. Back in 2 wks for another cervix check and quick US.

Ryann-He's still on Nutramigen. I have a spreadsheet that I've set up where I can track the prices of Nutramigen from different stores (e.g. Target, BRU, Diapers.com, Amazon, etc.) and I just purchase where it's cheapest per ounce, sometimes online, sometimes in a grocery store. Target.com will often have good sales on regular Enfamil and Nutramigen; I check daily and stock up during sales. Our pediatrician said that he will stay on it until further notice. I'm guessing he will stay on it as long as he needs formula.

As for sleeping, he has actually had little problem with sleeping on his back. His biggest problem with reflux has always been the discomfort after feedings, frequent spitting up, and just extreme irritability and frequent crying during the day, most likely due to heartburn.

As for how long we stayed on Zantac, I think I remember filling the prescription twice for Zantac, so I think we gave it 2 months before the doctor switched us to Prevacid.

My daughter does not have reflux and so she's just on regular Enfamil. That means we have to make two different batches of formula each night. We've been using big jugs and making a huge batch of each (enough to last most of the next day) and then pouring the right amount into each bottle rather than making each bottle separately.

Lou-good luck on the next urine test. Make sure they follow you closely as pre-eclampsia can take hold quickly. I started showing the early signs of it during week 30 and it progressed from there.

crashin for lou!

hey girl, just wanted to pipe in on the strech mark issue. I did not get strech marks with either pregnancy, but drank tons of water and lots of lotion on belly. I was HUGE with my first DD, gained 80 lbs....so I guess I was just lucky as my mom has tons of stretch marks. I will keep my fingers crossed for no strech marks for you, so you will be in your bikini again soon. I keep stalking you and will continue to do so until after your sweet baby girl is born! Cannot wait to hear your birth story and see pics!

Thanks for all the exercise advice, it really has helped. I think I am in the best shape of my life. Having a girlfriend vaca in October to FL, cannot wait, I may even get brave and wear a bikini!

Miss ya!

Blair- So glad your appointment went well. Hopfully the dresses helps and relieve the rash. That must be quite annoying. We are not keeping the baby's name a secret. It's going to be Lucas Wesley Lisek. The Wesley is after Dad's middle name, Uncle and his Dziadek (grandfather) first name. We figured it would be good to keep the name in the family going.

Riogrl- I had a minor infection in my scar with puss but just a topical infection. It took forever to heal. My sister's just plain did not heal and had to be redone twice. She went through a nightmare situation and she said she wants to have it fixed eventually it looks bad she said. I do have some puffiness above my scar. I believe the doctor said it was scar tissue build up. If I still have it after this next one I will be having it fixed by a plastic surgeon. I hate it and no matter how many abs I would do it wouldn't be completely flat. I would have done it before now but since I was planning on having more kis figured I would hold off. From the side you can't tell but when you look from the front you can see it. Looking from the front it looks like my boobs are my eyes and my belly button my indented nose lol and my scar a smiling mouth;) By the way Lizzy is adorable and so isn't your son.

Ladies sorry for being mia. I have been reading daily but just dont post much since i dont have anything to report.
Rio- Oooh she is such a sweety. and your son fits in well to. I guess you figured the milk thing down well and now she is gaining all that weight. go girl way to do it.
Ryan- your babies are growing so fast. lol do they stay babies long?
Sweatpea i love the name lucas. Yes i will stay with family names as well.
Margi- I still remember the bet we had in the old winter board and i lost so i promised to get a stroller. Well since your MIL decided to get one, just let me know where you register and i will pick the next item. You know i owe it to you alot  you know what you did?
Lou- Glad you enjoyed our shower. boy did you get alot of presents. I dont think i will have a shower. not by choice but my family lives far away and ppl at work are sometimes funny, unless i get a surprise. So dh and i are just collecting what we can when we can. And by the way your chinese gender predictor was right for me.
Sorry for those i left out. i know i can write on each one something but i have to get back to work. Well i had my big anatomy scan today and am team Blue. Everything look good and we are right on schedule.
Just a heads up for those buying items early, target has some baby clearance items esp furniture, strolers and car seat. I even got a Delta Eclise 4 in 1 convertible crib for 60$ original 249$. was there for something else and i saw it. so tempting so now i will try and get the matching pieces.

nw...congrats on team blue! Now i want to go check out Target to see if there's anything I want :)

Reenie...Wow you seem organized! My doctor said that if I think the Zantac is doing the trick that I can take them off of Nutramigen, but I don't want to keep screwing with their little bellies.

Blair...My doc said they sometimes get samples and they tore the place apart yesterday and couldn't find any. Arg. Yes, GERD is common in preemies. I can tell that the formula has helped with gas, just not the spitting up and painful eating. As far as the blankets go. I actually HAD the swaddle me blankets and the babies got right out. So I took them back to Buy Buy Baby and exchanged them for the Miracle Blankets. I had a 20% off coupon, so I got one for 20% off.

Rio...What beautiful pictures of your kids. My sis had a csection and she always said it looked like her scar was wearing a hat, so I'm guessing she had the pouch that you are talking about. She hasn't complained about it recently so I'm also guessing it went away!

Kat...Thanks for the infor on your preemie. That;s awesome that your little guy is kicking away!

Leora..It's so nice to hear from you. I'm glad that you are taking steps to get going on bringing your baby home. I hope your interview went well!

AFM...Finally caved a got a double snap n go off of craigslist. I found a website that walks you through getting the Safety 1st carseats to work so I can't wait until my brother drops it off tomorrow to try it out. I took the twins to the pediatrician by myself and thats what prompted the new stroller. It was onyl $20. I'm about to attempt to go to Target with them by myself...wish me luck! Here is a pic of Isabella playing and Dylan sleeping this morning!

Ryann- You will have to let me know if those car seats end up going onto the double Snap and Go stroller. I had been debating on getting one for the beginning but then heard they didnt fit. The twins sale in our area is this wknd and i thought it would be a nice place to get that for cheap if its going to work.

For all...I got an email that babies r us is having a 2 for $25 mega pack of diapers sale. May want to check your area, but thought I'd share!

Hi Ladies!

So sorry for being absent for such a long time. I have been busy with the boys and company. It's hard to soak up every moment with my babies and visit with my friends that I haven't seen in a year or 2. My BF came the first week, my SIL came the second and my other BF came and stayed 2 half weeks. She left last Saturday. The boys are absolutely perfect. They are so different. They look nothing alike and have such different and sweet personalities. They've been great. They really only cry when they're hungry or need a diaper. The hardest part right now is that they're eating every 2 hours. Which means that I get an hour between feedings to rest. I'm nursing and supplementing with formula. The formula part really sucks. Keeping up with bottles is such a pain. All in all.....life has been great! I am a little sleep deprived and tired, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've never been more grateful or happy.

I've been trying to catch up with reading. I've read some sweet posts and some really sad ones. I will try to attempt some personals. There are some new ladies that I'm not familiar with and want to say hello and hope to get to know you.

Ryan....your babies are gorgeous! How in the world are you able to post so much? I feel like I don't have a moment to shower or brush my teeth sometimes.

Amanda.....Maribel is beautiful! How's she doing?

Lou.....You look great! I wouldn't worry about stretch marks. I used Bio Oil twice or belly butter twice a day and didn't get any. I would sometimes break out and have to switch back and forths. I drank lots of water too. I felt like I was huge, but only gained 32 lbs. I was back to my original 117 after 2 weeks. I hope your urine test comes back ok.

Rio......I hope your scar heals soon. Mine has healed great as far as how it looks. It does hurt once in a while. McCoy kicked my in my belly today and I thought I would die. Your kids are gorgeous! LIzzy is a doll! They look so sweet together!

Leora.....There are no words for what you went through. Just know that there are lots of us ladies praying for you and DH.

Well....I tried to make it through....the babies are waking up. Sorry I missed so many of you! Congratulations to all of you that have given birth! Promise to try to catch up soon.

One more thing....we have the Britax B Ready stroller and it's great!

Ryann - Dylan and Isabella are getting so stinking big! Absolutely gorgeous little angels! Sorry to hear about the GERD, but the good news is you figured it out and are working to make them more comfortable. I hope the Zantac works so they get relief right away.

Karin - Every 2 hours around the clock? YIKES!!! I can definitely relate to the "no time for mommy". It'll get easier to sneak a shower soon, I promise. Just remember to be FAST. I find that lovely silence tends to be short lived, especially when you're trying to take advantage and get something accomplished.

So great that everyone's getting so close to the end!

Bunny -- Good to know about the stretch marks. I don't know if I have good genes but I sure drink a lot of water!

Kat -- OMG-- what a horrible experience with eclampsia you had. I"m so sorry! Fingers crossed for now for no new stretch marks.... and yes... take lots of pics this time around :D .

Mamaboo -- I've heard that a lot... that 36 wks is when the marks come. Grrr.

Rio -- Woo hoo for no stretch marks. You're a lucky gal.

Blair -- Yeah I check every AM for the marks too. Allbeebaby has great prices from what I've seen! So glad your babies are right on track!

Reenie -- Thanks for the advice. I'm seeing my doc every week and will repeat the 24 hr urine next week.

Ronda -- Hi hun! So glad you still stop by to crash. I love it. You are so luckiy not to have gotten any marks. Water must be the key! Glad to hear the exercise advice is helping. That's AWESOME! You must feel so great. And Yes!!! Wear the bikini on vacation.

Karin -- So glad the boys are doing so well. Wow... back to 117 lbs in 2 wseeks is amazing. So is gaining only 32 lbs with twins! Congrats.

AFM -- Allergies and work are kicking my butt today. Tonight DH and I have a "Prepared Childbirth" class here at the hospital. We're doing the crash course of Friday night/Saturday morning. I wonder what they're going to teach us? I've also been getting a little nauseous lately and at weird times. Driving to work on Monday morning I projectile vomited all over the inside of my windshield, dash, steering wheel, and lap. It was horrible and I wanted to cry. I was driving on the toll road at 75 mph. Had some paper towels I used to wipe up. Thank goodness it was mostly just water. Still super gross though. WTH?

Hi ladies! I've been reading whenever I get a chance but don't get to post much.

Ryann - I love the new pic of Dylan and Isabella! Soooo cute (and Maribel was wearing that same pink elephant sleeper last night LOL.) Sorry to hear about Dylan's tummy troubles. Hopefully the formula & Zantac combo will help him. And thanks for sharing the info about the Miracle Blanket, I'll check that out.

Stephanie - Brady & Jaxon are so darn cute!! I love the new pics of your little guys!

Karin - Glad to hear you & the boys are well but wow, you must be exhausted!!

Rio - Awww, great new pics!! And great job on getting Lizzy's weight up, woo-hoo!! Sorry to hear you've had so much trouble with your scar though, that really stinks. My incision healed very well but yes, I do have a little "muffin top" above it right now. Hopefully that will go away in time but I haven't even begun to lose any weight since my first week home from the hospital so I'm sure I'll have it with me for awhile.

Leora - Hope you are doing well! I still think it would be better to go for the gold when you are ready and get a TAC. Having been on Abbeyloopers for almost a year now I just see too many broken hearts who had TVC's that failed either by the stitch causing infection, the cervix tearing, etc. Even when they're placed early on and are not a "rescue" cerclage many docs think TVC's can do more harm then good.

Blair - I'm so glad to hear that you and the girls are doing well. Sounds like their weights are great already and how funny about the hand in the face. It will be interesting to see if they're like that outside of the womb too.

Lou - Glad to hear that you had a wonderful shower and hopefully your BP/protein in urine situation won't escalate. Be sure to take it easy just in case.

EOE, hope you're all doing well and I love reading everyone's updates.

AFM, Maribel is doing great and growing like a weed. As of 5 weeks, Maribel was up to 10lbs 1oz and 22.5 inches long. She's got her dad's long runner's legs so we've already retired all of her 3 month sleepers and she's now into 6 month sleepers already (onesies and outfits are size 3 month.) She often shows serious expressions but just in the past week really started to smile a lot so we're loving that. Here are a couple of pics of Maribel that were taken this past weekend.
