mom - yeah i do think it can be harder when you have unexplained infertility!!! did you see the post by bekkie in the general forum?? she had unexplained infertility, one failed IVF cycle and is now 10 weeks pregnant naturally!!! so dont give up hope. we have severe male infertility (extremely low sperm count and extremely low motility) and they've told us its practically impossible to conceive naturally. it was such a blow as i always just assumed it was marriage, then baby...got the first bit done and then the second came as such a shock. (my theory is maybe someone's trying to teach me a lesson not to take things for granted and its the one thing i did always take for granted)...i'm sorry if i asked before but whereabouts in the uk are you and where you having your tmt??

sounds you like you had a lovely time shopping...might suggest that to my hubby...hehe..."but the hubby of the lady on this board took HER shopping....!!!"

hi wiscon - of course we dont mind you popping in here!!! EC maybe on the 20th - wow, how soon!!! thats fantastic. i'm not doing accu yet but will start as soon as we start the tmt. there are many websites and studies which show that success rates are much better for ladies who are doing accu.

good luck!!!!

Aunty - thanks... you're so sweet. Everyone on here is always so supportive but when I read your messages you just seem to make me feel so much better. Obviously I am sorry you have the same problem as me in that your right ovary is lazy, but your words really help... :D

Its funny, with the endo I have its always my left ovary that causes me pain and problems but now I know why, its cos my right one's asleep!!

What worries me a little is that last time out of 14 follies we only had 2 eggs, and I suppose my fear is that the less follies this time will mean even less eggs. I have been trying to keep positive today and tell myself that we still have a week to go, and a lot can happen in that time...

I have been feeling fine up til today but all of a sudden I find myself starting to feel anxious. I SO want this to work, and I am afraid that it won't...

Much love to everyone.

Ems xx

Ems,

Will they scan you again before next Monday. I bet theres a few more in there. I have always had more at ET than they could see on the scan. My clinic says they have stopped scanning before day 10 of stimms as anything before is too inaccurate.

I am with you about the possible egg count. I'm not over anxious at the moment but very cautious about my scan on Friday. So far I have been told that my E2 levels are great and they reduced them but who knows when it comes to the crunch what they get.

You know what, my right ovary has always been lasier than my left too. I do get eggs from it but no way near what the left one can do..maybe it is common is most women.

Thinking of you sweetie.

Love Lisa XXX

p.s. Aunty Debz...hope your headaches are disappearing honey...you need a break petal. X

HEY WISCONSINGAL!!!!!!!! I'm in Port Washington, about an hour South of you and 30 Min North of Milwaukee! So happy that you are moving along so fast! Sticky baby dust to you!

Mom20....Oh that shopping spree sounds wonderful, I could use one of those. Hang in there, sending lots of PMA your way!

Bec I have been thinking about you too! That show was amazing and even my DH was caught taking a "break" from his fish talk to watch. I love the 4D scans everything is so clear and perfect looking! August will be here before you know it and I can't wait for your lil one to get here!

Sticky baby dust, loads of PMA's, and AF jiggies for those who need it!

Well, tomorrow is my big day. We are going to stay in a hotel tonight since it is a 3 hour drive to the hospital from our home and we have to be there at 6:30 in the morning. Not to mention that the roads are icy and it is super cold outside! Wish me luck. I am so hoping that both my little embies survive the thaw! I'll be in touch with everyone after I am off bed rest. Beta is scheduled for January 25.

Lisa - thanks for your message. Really good to see you :D

Yes, I have scans again on Weds and Fri, so maybe I am jumping the gun a bit...the nurse even said this morning that my right one got off to a bit of a slow start last time too. In the end, they didn't get any eggs from that side anyway though. No point taking up space with empty follicles I suppose!!!

Have had a funny old day today. Felt disappointed this morning but all day I've been trying to tell myself it isn't all that bad at all. I still have some good follicles on the left, I guess I just hope they have eggs in...

Good luck to you sweetie for Friday. Hope you can let me know how you get on. I'll be thinking of you.

Amd,

All the best for your transfer tomorrow, keep warm with those winter temps. In New Zealand it is tomorrow already (Tuesday morning). It is a lovely bright sunny summers day, perfect for new beginings and the start of a new adventure - I'll send some of our sunshine shine your way.

All the best and lots of good wishes for ET tomorrow.

I have an appointment this afternoon to learn how to do the injections - will make it all a little more real and exciting I think.

Have a good day everyone

azkiwi: oooo... shots clinic today! That's great! I know that i was SO excited for mine. Do you get your meds today, too? (my favorite part :D )

EMS: sorry to hear your R ovary isn't cooperating. I hear your anxiety and fear. I am hoping, like the others had mentioned, you've got some hiding back there. grow follies grow!

AMD: all the luck in the world for FET tomorrow

Shantala: GL on open evening... it is tomorrow, right???

mom20: oooo, how lucky are you. kudos to your dh for shopping spree. You deserve a break!

TC: nice to hear from you again. Hope your break from the forum helped. Hoping that Abby will soon have a baby sister/brother.

Cinny: i get your "disbelief" that this is all beginning. I felt the same way. The whole #1 stims for me felt like a dream. Hopefully you will wake up from your dream w/a BFP!

Vickie: ER tomorrow, right? Hoping all those follicles have healthy, strong eggs!

Fee: Since AF arrived, do you have a FET date??

Jodic: your MIL-- WTF? What is her deal, anyway? I can only imagine her lack of support doesn't help what is already a stressful process.

Tanya: sooooo, how is that 2ww going? oh, i know it is torture!

My us today brought good news... lining already @ 9mm w/10 days to go (considering the gymnastics i had to do w/intravaginal estrace tabs this wkend, was relieved to hear it actually did something!). Yipee! maybe the fates really are smiling on me this time?!
