Katie - So damn close, can almost smell the sweat of labor. lol Being induced "can" be more painful. Don't worry though, they should monitor your closely to make sure that it doesn't. The reason is can hurt more is because some people react differently to the pitocin and dosage. Some women will experience too many hard contractions, this makes it so the uterus doesn't have time to rest and of course that can be painful. Even the BH that I would get, a few would seem to last 5 minutes long. Although they weren't really hard, they still weren't fun to experience. lol Anyway, all they do is lower the dosage IF something like that happens. It is almost better if you are looking to get labor done and over with faster. Many times it speeds up the process since going through labor on your own may take a while. I think with Alex, thanks to pitocin, I only had maybe 5 hours of labor, only 30 minutes of really hard labor before she decided to come in a quick like hurry.

The only thing I didn't like (at the time) was I wanted the epidural and labor went so fast that they didn't get to the room in time. I hope you have a smooth labor and delivery. I know you say you are a big baby when it comes to pain so don't be afraid to ask for the epidural if you want to. Do you have a set birth plan? Come on Savannah, don't take about George, Ethan and Angelina! Come on out, meet the world and let mommy heal and rest!
Angela - Enjoy your time away! Glad the bed is nice and comfy, you need that right now!

Take care and relax... you deserve it.
Gi/Joan - Thank you so much for letting us know she is doing well and thank you for the well wishes. It's so sweet that you check in on us!
Babyluv - My gosh, I am glad you have bought yourself some more time cooking them little girls! I am sure it is tough to take care of everything at home on bedrest. I really only had to do it for a week and Andrew let me rest where his family didn't. lol I was so tempted to clean up, one because things were a mess and not to "standards" and second things were out of place or not done correctly... again to my standards. lol Like how the t-towels were folded and put away. lol Just follow the rules the best you can and relax that uterus and tell those girls to behave and stay in the oven!

With as conservative as your ob is, I am surprised that they didn't admit you for at least 24 hours so you could get betamethazone and mag sulfate just in case!
Hazel - George is simply gorgeous! Even without the top of his head in the first pic, you can see how sweet and perfect his smile is. Oh how you must be beaming... at least when he isn't fussing. lol I keep looking at Ethan and Angelina when they are in my arms and find myself telling them over and over how much I love them and kissing their soft little heads and faces as much as I can.
Pa - Hope you had a great shower and got many things you needed. Hopefully the flakey one didn't make a mess of things.
AFM - Must admit, the breastfeeding and pumping thing is wearing me down. I thought they said it would be easier?? I don't find it being that easy with two. More so, I can't stand how fast I get engorged. No fair! When not breastfeeding it hurts for a little while then you dry up. Me, I can't seem to get rid of the hardness in my boobs. Even when I pump and it seems I have gotten all I can out, a good portion is still hard and sore. I have to wear a bra at all times or my boobs feel like bowling balls and leak. I am happy with the feedings, I just don't like the way my boobs are reacting. lol The lactation specialist said that my boobs would feel normal... still waiting.

Oh well, I will figure it out sooner or later.

As for his leave, to answer some of you... Andrew will be going to try and respectfully talk sense into the commander. Otherwise he goes back on the 27th, two days before the twins' two week check up. That means I have to drag two babies to it by myself. FUN! Unless of course he gets through to the commander. He just had a baby himself, but 10 days was enough for him since his wife didn't have a c-section, therefore not cut hip to hip AND lets not forget they only had one baby! If I had one baby and a vajayjay birth then 10 days would be enough for us too. BLAH! Katie, we are in agreement... SHOCK COLLARS!!!!! Other than that, I went to my friend's shower today. I actually cooked for it, but it was two quick and easy things. Dip was hormel chili and velveta... and chicken tacos, just chicken and taco seasoning. How easy is that? Took my like 15 minutes. lol Anyway, I get there and everyone was amazed at how different I look 10 days post babies. I was looked at with jaws dropping and told how skinny I look. Feels really nice to hear that after being so big for so long.

I am not back to normal yet, I sill have a swollen belly of course, but still felt great to hear the word skinny.

So even though I lost more weight than I gained, I am not back into my skinny jeans yet. lol Ok ladies, trying to get the last feeding down Angelina, the picky eater. Check in later.... especially Katie! Come on Savannah!
