Twin mommy~ I get the same thing with the twin question. Mine look very different as well. When I see your pics I can see the similarities but I LOVE that with two girls they look a bit more different . I think it's makes them more unique. Lucky. . .and super cute!

Kim~ House hunting???? Do tell!!! I love house hunting even though we are not buying anytime soon at all! Your kids sound very good at helping. I hope mine turn that corner very soon or at least before baby #3! I haven't busted out real playdough yet in fear they will eat it all. Did yours eat it or was it too salty to want to eat? Also, girl. . . that is what I hope it is since I would love to see sisters. I never had a sister and I would just love that but I do think it's a boy for some reason. My biggest fear with boy is that with Bodie being so small I would have for his younger brother to tower over him sooner than later. A couple boys I nannied for had this issue and the older boy was very self consious about his size. With one of each already, it honestly doesn't matter but I have every intention of buying either sex matching outfits! I know, I'm bad!!!!

House hunters. . . Pics! I am living through you you know! :D Ellie sounds like my kind of girl!

Kholtan you crack me up about the house thing. It is stressing me out! haha...here is the website to the house we love. Overpriced so we would not buy it if it stays at this price...

http://www.mlsfinder.com/kwls/kw/index. ... wagent.com

Also, drum roll please....BROOKE ROLLED OVER! Tummy to back! 4 times in a row! WOOHOO!!!

And I had my mom look at our baby books (my sister and mine) and it is funny in a sense. When I was 6 months I was 27 inches and 16 lbs...Kenzie is 27 inches and 15 lbs....My sister was 25 inches at 5 1/2 months (she did not have 6 written down) and 13 lbs...Brooke is 25 1/2 inches and 15 1/2 lbs. Did I really have preemies?!?! I thought they were not supposed to catch up till 2. I just have chunkers I think :D

They are trying to do 2 naps a day. I am hoping that if they do this then they will sleep longer at night? They have almost drooped their early evening nap completely. Makes them cranky during dinner tho.

Hello All!

My very kind mother sent us a box full of cookies and snacks from Japan. I went just crazy (really) on them and let's say I did not share them with anyone. I am hoping it's because I am pregnant!! Otherwise, I will be in a very big trouble post baby.

Twinmommy -- a new formula? Do you think your insurance woud pay for it? Initially, my insurance company was saying they would pay for Nutramigen, but then they told me that they won't because it's over the counter. If yours pay, maybe that might be a good thing because Nutramigen is super expensive? Mine also look totally different from each other. Your recent photos of the girls on your blog though, I think they look a like?? Great weights by the way. They are gaining weight very nicely. Oh, mine started 4 hours between feedings about 5 or 6 months?? I am terrible and do not recall anymore!

Buckeye -- yours do sound like happy helpers. They sound like they are good at listening to you. How do you do that!? House hunting is fun. I would love to move into a newer bigger house but with the current market, I don't think we could afford a move. The fact that I can't get it, I get more itch about it. So, yes do let us know how it is going with you so like Kimberly's saying, I can 'experience the high' with you. hehe

Kimberly -- one nap a day, huh? Can your DH stay behind a little so that you can get ready while he's still around? Sometimes my twins' morning nap only lasts about 40 mins and I started to wonder if they don't need it anymore. I sure hope not because I am not ready yet. With the new baby, I am not sure how I am going to manage nap times for all. It is going to be pretty interesting. Have you registered for the pre-school for your kiddos yet? I have to post a belly picture of mine on my blog. I popped is a modest way to describe how I look right now. Everyone comments I look like I am ready to deliver any day. I feel quite embarrased about it and that I tell them it's because I had twins. I feel like you are going to have another girl. So, my vote is on a girlie.

I have been slacking on my blog lately, but will post some photos from the birthday and some random recent photos, hopefully today! Weekends are too short though. Too much to do so little time...

Have a fab rest of the Sunday!

Twinmommy~ Very cute house!!!! I love brick and the back deck is great as well. Love hardwood floors and it looks very clean! :D That's a big one for me because IMO how clean the house is is also a direct indicator of how maintained the house was while people lived there. Tidy homes with the little things fixed usually means they fixed the big things right as well.
Congrats on the roll over! WHOOHOOO! Big step! From what I remember, my kids slept worse at 6 months if they slept less in the day. They have always done better with more nap time during the day. This could just be how my kids are and not everyone's are like that so if it works. . . go with it! :D

Kimi~ Dh staying behind is a lovely thought. . . sadly, it can't happen! With the economy the way it is we need to be on all our jobs all day making sure they run like silk! It's not the easy money making days we were so use to and now every day we are just grateful to be working and still have such loyal clients. I'll get it done somehow. . .not sure how but time will tell. They were still taking 2 naps for 1-2 hours at a time jsut last week??? It hasn't seemed to extend the afternoon nap either beyond 2 hours. I was hoping they would start to sleep for 2-3 hours in the afternoon but not yet? Schedules are a bigger to get figured out when they change!
Can't wait to see your pics. I'll have to post some of my ever growing little one as well. It just came out of nowhere! Another girl huh??? I think it would be so sweet! We'll see! Counting down until Tuesday!

PS, www.albeebaby.com has Britax Marathon car seats for $100 off regular price!!! AGHGHGH! Such a great deal I'm thinking of getting the new babies bigger car seat now! Free shipping too!

Suga--cute house...I like the wood floors and all the trees! Congrats too on the roll-over! Watch out now....she'll soon roll from place-to-place...get that video camera ready! :) I think you'll like only having 2 naps a day...you'll have more flexibility to your daily schedule. I honestly don't remember if we ever really did go to 4 hour feeds. Maybe around 6-7 months? I honestly can't remember....sorry!

Tolbee--enjoy the cookies! You deserve it! I'll have to check your blog for new pics. As for kids listening, I don't know that I actually "did" anything...they're just so eager to please right now that they usually listen. Ellie much more so than Braeden. Probably a girl thing.

Kholtan---don't get too excited yet...we probably won't move for another year or two. We want to save the $$$ to put down on a much bigger house. WE could move now, but we want to wait and get THE house...and never move again. Although, with the market the way it is now, it's tempting to jump in! Update us tomorrow on whether there is a pee-pee or va-jay-jay! Oh, as for naps....I LOVE being on just one nap a day. It makes it so much easier to get out and about...I don't have to worry about "getting home to nap", kwim? During the week, I get up before them anyway and shower. But, on days I don't work (like tomorrow), I sleep in until I hear them wake up. As soon as they wake up, I know I have about 30 minutes until they start crying. They usually talk and play for 30 minutes when they wake up....which is VERY nice! I'm sure you'll work out some sort of schedule that works! Playdough??? Oh, yeah, they used to try and eat it...but it only took a few times to realize that it didn't taste too good. If you're worried, you could always make edible playdough. I didn't even try playdough until they were close to 18 months.

Gotta run! I'll try to post a few recent pics on the Bucket. My DH doesn't want me to do a blog because of weirdos on the web....he doesn't like me doing the bucket either, but since I don't give much info on the pics, I just ignore him on that one!

Kim~ So even though you aren't moving quite yet it sure if fun to look. We will most likely be doing an addition this summer. :( I'm not too picky about the kids rooms and where the new baby will sleep but we more so need it because dh has his office here and it is super hard to work with us all home. We'll see. . .
I do think I am simply going to have to start getting up before them to get ready. They get up at 7 so even if I am just showered I can at least do the rest with their help. Annelise is already into helping me and both my kids are obsessed with flossing. I don't mind going to one nap but we do most of our activites in the afternoon so I hope that won't change too much. We'll just have to play it by ear.
About blogging. . .if dh would feel better about it you can make it so only those you give a password to can read it. Hopefully we don't attract any wierdos but if I do I guess we'll go the passowrd route. I just can't stop since all our family far away looks it up every week and I don't have to send pics all the time. Easier on me for sure! :D

So, tonight we were doing nekked time ourselves. Bodie has always loved it and Annelise is really getting more into it. Usually it's at night right before we put on jammies and the last diaper of the day. Well, things were going well and it had been 10-15 mintues so I was grabbing Bodie to get him dressed for bed when I looked over and saw our little princess making a Doop on the floor. Proud as a Peacock and just sure it was a fabulous idea! Bodie was sweet enough to clap for her as well. Needless to say there was no damage to the carpet but I think I'll go ahead and get it cleaned anyway! :D

Nighty night!

Oh gosh, sounds like my dog pooping on the floor. haha! Gosh, well she had to go! hehe

Well that is most likely not the house we will get as it is way over priced and they are not wanting to come down on it. BUT we have found this other house we like but it needs a little updating somewhere down the line when we have more money I suppose.

http://tbrmls.fnismls.com/publink/defau ... Report=Yes

That is it though. There is a house on the same street and the same house that is $10,000 more but it is a little more updated. So who knows which one we will pick. Hopefully at least one of them is on the market come May!! So please pray for us that one is! The other one, not pictures, does not have as many trees in the back yard which is nice because someday we would like to get a pool...so decisions decisions!

Kim: My husband did not like the blog thing either. I told him to get over it because our family that lives far away LOVES it. PLUS I do not give the address out to anyone. I am sure people can find it but it is not like I tell people our address, our SSN, or bank account number. But you can password protect it. I tried to do that at one time but it was a pain in the butt so I stopped.

I have to figure something out. They wake up at 7 and eat around 7:20ish. Then nap for 30-45 minutes at 8AM. Then they eat again at 10AM and want to take a looooong nap. I am talking 2 1/2 to 3 hours. But they are so tired at 10 they do not want to eat before that nap! I dunno what to do! Should I just give them some solids before bed? Or feed them early at 9:30? They are moving this schedule around on me and I do not know what to do! haha

twin mommy~Shortly after 6 months mine started eating 3 meals a day and just nursing in between. If I can recall correctly. I'm not sure what to tell you because it seems they really do switch it up often on ya. It's so hard to remember now but since solids I really cannot remember them doing anything but three meals and nursing. Then the nursing dwindled down little by little as well. I'm not much help. . .sorry!

Twinmommy -- cute house! I love the brick and the master bath! I've learned that with twins specially you'll need a big bathroom. Our bathrooms are so tiny and not very functional. Does it have dual pane windows? Ours don't and that is definitely something I wished I had made sure because they cost $$$$!

Ooooh I hear Noah crying gotta run... I will write more later!

Ok, I am back.
Twinmommy -- At 6 month, my babies barely started solid once a day. But I know timing can be a little tricky. Mine started to cry and refuse nap when they are hungry. So, whenever they show a sign of hunger now, I give them fruits or a cracker to snack on. Mine just started to eat 3 meals a month ago.

Kimbely -- I love that Bodie was clapping for Annelise's work. hehe I can just imagine! Yeah I know what you are saying about how the job situation changed now. For doing addition to your house, your DH can frame and he probably has lots of friends in construction who can help out as well. That is nice. We are just dreaming at this point about getting an addition or remodel down. Your house looks beautiful.

Buckeye -- Yeah I understand what you mean about going public with the blog. I do have lots of family who live far away, so it works for us. If I get some weirdos peeking then I will probably switch to permission only option. I also love writing! so I do enjoy writing blogs. Let me know when you add new photos to photobucket!

I had a good day over all. I took half day off work because Sean's daycare was closed. DH and I took Sean to the waterfront and the acquarium. We had tons of fun. The weather was super nice and it was a gorgeous day by the pier. Days like this make us feel glad to live in Seattle.

Anyways, gotta run now for sure!

Suga--I love the wooded lot! It's so hard to find a newer house here with a wooded lot like that...most of the newer homes are built in developments that used to be farmland...oh, but I would LOVE a pool! :) At 6 months, my kids were down to two naps a day (i think? if not, pretty close...), and they ate 3 meals a day, plus a snack or two of bottles. I don't remember our exact schedule from back then, but I know that my kids stayed up longer than an hour from their initial nap time...So, they might have gotten up at 7, gone back to bed around 10, maybe? But, keep in mind that you had early babies, so you might need more time on that one. Not sure if that helps!

Tolbee--I know what you mean about the blog...I figure most people wouldn't even know the address to find it. BUT, most of our family is very close by, so I don't really have that as an excuse....Oh, and I did post a few pics on the bucket! 8) Glad you enjoyed the aquarium. Sounds like a blast!

We had a fun day today...my dad and I took the kids to the mall playland--yes, the mall playland...I know it's a harbor of germs, but the kids had a great time, and they were WORN OUT afterwards! Then, we had lunch there, and enjoyed some mall walking...shopping...I'm back to work tomorrow. Where did the long weekend go?

hello ladies. If I may, I have a question for you all.

I just had my first BETA. We did a 5dt and beta was 14dp5dt.

Can you tell me if a BETA number of 830 is any indication at this point of possible twins. We had 2 blasts transferred.

Thanks ladies.

Hi Jenn! Congrats! Where in Ohio are you? I'm near Dayton....I don't know what the baseline for twin beta numbers are, but I know mine was over 1100, I think? It was really high....but, it could be different. I transferred on day 3 and tested 2 weeks after that. Your numbers could be a little high because you transferred on day 5....cause once you're preggo, your numbers keep going up for a while.

Good luck! You'll know soon enough! Keep us posted.

Buckeyegal...I'm about an hour south of Canfield/Boardman. I'm right across the river from Weirton, West Virginia in a small town called "Wintersville".

I'll let you all know. My next BETA is Wednesday. And if my numbers double then they will schedule an U/S 3 weeks later, probably first week of March! Another waiting game  , does it ever end?
