Hi Jenn! Congratulations on your positive test result! I think mine was about 750 and the clinic said it's an excellent number but didn't really comment much on if it could be twins. A friend of mine who did the transfer on the same day from the same clinic had 350. Three weeks for an ultrasound? Oh boy that's a long wait! Hope it goes by quickly for you~

Kimberley!! I am sooo looking forward to your ultrasound today. Let us know ASAP what you found out!

Jen: Congrats on your positive! That is a great number! I think my 14 day post was 600 something? And it was twins. I had two 3 day blasts transferred. Then two weeks later I had the ultrasound and it was confirmed of twins!

Kholtan: ahem, we are waiting!!!

Ok ladies. . . .we are home and the verdict is in!!!! before I spill the beans I must say that last night I had a dream it was a girlI had the two girls dressed alike and they both looked adorable! So, even though I have thought it was a boy from day one this morning I was thinking it could be a girl. So, we got there and needless to say, today was the longest day ever!!! It took all of 2 minutes and as the u/s gal waved the wand over the little tushie area I shouted. . . ."I know that that belongs to a boy!" It was obvious for sure! So, ladies. . . a boy! He looks fabulous and we are very excited to meet him if he ever gets a name! :D

I have to admit that this news had made me see my Annelise a little different. Now every size 12 month dress she is wearing is that last. . .and all those infant girly things are of no use to us anymore at all. I would have thought the same things if we were looking at Bodie knowing he was our last boy but for some reason it's a super happy and yet a little sad all at the same time! Daddy already said "Well, let's have #4 and go for two girls!" He talks crazy though so don't listen to him!

JennLB25~ Your number looks great to me! We did a 3dt and on 12dpt our number was only 62 and on day 14 it was only 242. We went on to have healthy twins so I would say your number is fabulous! Congrats! Hopefully you will be joining us for good soon!

Kim~ LOVE your new pics!!!! First of all, Braeden has such a personality in photos. His hair is gorgeous as well! The color is so deep and I just think he looks full of sassiness! LOVE it! Ellie has hair to die for as well. I am waiting for Annelise to be able to have piggy tails! She is so darn cute! I love that you hit the mall play area! My mantra is that there are no germs we can't wash off. Seriously, I figure if we go to the grocery store together there is nowhere with more germs than that! :D

Kimi~ Being in construction is handy, I must admit. We are able to do things for so much less and we are also General's ourselves so having teh insurance and all that saves us again. An addition is just a major undertaking and so messy. We need to get planning if we are ever going to do it though. Just dreading the mess and the hoopla!

twinmommy~ Another cute house. I loved the woods as well. Curb appeal is a big thing and that house looks great from the street. I would have to get to tearing down the wall paper but that's the interior designer coming out in me! :D

Our last note of the day. . .We stopped off at the Fertility clinic and filled out the paper work we have been dreading. Our embryo storage is $500 a year and next year it goes up to $750 so we finally did it. We let them go. . . all 26.  I just couldn't do the sciene thing because I just don't want them developing any further only to be destroyed still. I know it's for research but I just couldn't. Donation would have been so selfless but we just couldn't do that either. What a tough choice. It's never easy no matter what you decide I guess.

Better run. We are going to go do NOTHING! :D

Kimberley-- congratulations on a baby boy!! My bet was on a girl and I am glad I actually didn't put my money on it but, wow, so how do you feel to know and actually start visualizing what your life is going to be like with two boys and a girl? It is very exciting, isn't it? I have lots of boy clothes as well if you are interested. I can drop it by when I go to Boise! Congratulations! About embies... I am sure it was very hard for you to let go... but you do have two beautiful children and another beautiful addition coming up. It is a big success story and is a very happy ending. Who knows? maybe you might have another one?

Buckeye -- I asked for it and forgot to check your photos! I just checked them now and wow, they are gorgeous! I didn't know Braeden had red hair!! He is like a doll! And Ellie with her cute hair do and bright eyes. Beautiful kids! I cannot wait also until Alyson's hair grows out. Does she let you do her hair without a fight? My Alyson is already fighting it when I try to put a barret on her hair.

Good night everyone. I finally added photos to my blog from their Bday.

I'd been checking for Kimberly's updates every hour or so all day :D . I can now sleep in peace knowing that she's having a boy.

Jenn I think you may be joining us! haha. CONGRATS ON THE BFP!!!!

Kim: as I stated on your blog...WOOOHOOOO! BOY! Well, you never know, you may have a girl later down the line! I want to give Nick a boy (just one JUST ONE) and then be done. I am not on any birthcontrol but have bad PCOS so I am sure we will have to use our frozens to get us anything more. 2 frozen so hopefully one is a boy....if not another girl! (ONE MORE JUST ONE MORE). Gosh, our storage is only $400 a year and we would have to start that Jan of 2010. We would only pay for that year then we would get preggers 2011 most likely. I hope they thaw out ok. I asked today actually and she said fees will not go up next year. ANYWHOO, you can always play dolls with your little girl and put cute dresses on haha.

I need to go and look at the new pictures! I will do that after I get off here.

I have GREAT news. The insurance company paid their final bill today! We do not have the $8000 hanging over us any more! WOOOHOO! Mackenzie and Brooke are paid off haha.

My husband told me I needed a vacation. I have not gotten a lot of sleep lately and am cranky and just, well, exhausted. He said he would watch the girls all weekend and I could go to my moms  Well I am not going to do that but it is the thought that counts right? I mean when he sees me break down and cry (last night) he knows something is going on.

I agree that the house we may get eventually needs the wallpaper down. I hate wallpaper! Also the kitchen would need some work. Who knows. We have another house to look at this weekend that is cheaper but has wallpaper! lol

Congrats again!!!

Jenn--Congrats! I, too, think you might be joining us....enjoy the bliss!

Kholtan--a BOY! Congrats! I bet you guys will have a blast with the little guy. At least in our house, the boys are much more laid back, so IF I ever had another (which I probably won't), I'd secretly hope for a boy! I bet your DH is going to have a blast teaching the boys (and Annelise!) how to play with all his fun bikes and toys.

Suga--Yeah on the insurance! You are SO LUCKY that your insurance covered it. My insurance refused to pay out for any fertility stuff. Yuck. Now, you can use that $$ towards the house! Woo hoo! Your DH sounds like a keeper--take him up on it, at least for a few hours, and get AWAY! Get a pedicure or something....you need the break. :)

Thanks for the nice comments about the pics. Kimi--early on, I had to put Ellie's hair up while she was strapped in the high chair. She hated it. But, these days she's a good sport...in fact, she REQUESTS it! The side piggy tails are harder, so I usually do those when she's in the high chair too. She can't sit still long enough for those.

gotta run! Take care!

Thanks everyone on the sweet new baby boy comments. Even though I have always thought it was a boy I am oddly enough still a bit shocked! Yesterday as my little fella threw a HOT FIT I just looked at dh and said "TWO!TWO! Two of these! Oy!!!!" We had to laugh. But now we need a name??? Not to mention I am already busy thinking about how I will design the boy and girl rooms. This is my favorite part for sure!

Kim~ Dh is certainly gearing up for his Boy adventures. We took the kids snowmobiling yesterday and already he is concerned with how we will do it with three??? Also, never say never. Look at Kimi and myself?? Maybe you're next????:D

Twinmommy~ Your storage is a great price. Ours goes up every year by $250 so it just doesn't make sense to keep paying the mad money for it. Can't wait to see if you've got the boy "on ice" or if it's more girls? Even if you ahd another set of twins I'm sure you would breeze through it with all this experience. :D
Congrats on the insurance! Ours payed for nothing! Our clinic was pricey and with our indurance covering 0% it was a dent for sure. Thank goodness we had our supplimental insurance as well which basically paid for everything in the end. Although if I could do it over I still wouldn't want any NICU time regardless of what that paid for.

Jenn~ I think it's twins!!!! Let us know ASAP! We love new twins around here! Congrats again!

Kimi~ Life with two boys??? I still cannot get my mind around it at all! Getting 2and2 for you is great. Are you done with 4? We thought we were but now dh is already thinking about one more! Clearly he's not pg himself! Also, thanks for the offer of boy clothes. :D I never ever pass up a hand-me-down! That would be great but I cannot imagine you having room to bring them with all 6 family members in the car! When you come we will have to make a play date so the kids can actually play together. They would love it! When are you planning a trip again?

Better get showered for the day. . . Have a good one!

Kholtan: That is weird your storage goes up like that! That is a rip off! Yeah, our clinic was more expensive than others. Our insurance paid up to $10,000 and we were lucky that with insurance it was just under that. They give a discount to insurance companies. Which again, is stupid. The discount should be to people paying out of pocket. So we only had one shot since it was just under $10,000. I know I would be ok with another set I would just like one. lol.

Update on the girls, they got their shots today. Including the flu shot. The doc just said we should go ahead and give it to her since the season is not over...whatever. The only shots I do not want to give them are the Guardacel (sp) and Chicken Pocks.

Anywhoo,

Mackenzie: Weight 15 lbs 11 oz! (25%) Height 25 inches (remember Shands said she was 27? Yeah I dunno) (50%) and Head 41" (10%)

Brooke: Weight 16 lbs! (50%) Height 25 inches (50%) and Head 40" (not on the chart yet)

Ok so I do not know why their percentages are so different when they are so close together in measurements? Does not make sense to me! They were so tired (it was during their nap time) they hardly cried and went right to sleep afterwards. I should always make shots at their nap time!

Hi everyone! I hope your day is going well today.

Jenn -- Hope you are having twins! I think by looking at your numbers, there is a big chance. Let us know!

Kimberly -- We'll find a way to load up boy clothes in the minivan :D We did buy a cargo that goes on top of the car. And last time, we packed way too much that my FIL just laughed at me. I did pack two infant chairs and we didn't end up using them. I also packed Sean's highchair  which we never used, either. So, we'll be taking a lot less this time around. We are thinking of Aug. I figured the baby ought to be sleeping through the night before we make a big trip like that. By then the baby will be four month so I am hoping she is a good sleeper. No name yet!! I need to seriously come up with a list soon. I am 30 weeks this week~

Twinmommy -- yay for insurance payment! That must have been a big relief. To chase that around itself is time consuming and stressful. Aaaah the wall paper, you'll probably have fun with peeling them (not). Your girlies are getting really big. Those thighs are killers! I just want to pinch them! Our twins check up's coming up next week. Noah lost some weight since he started to pull up an crawl but I think he gained again. His cheeks look fuller and he is suddenly heavy. Alyson though is the queen. She's tall and heavy. Hope you take up on your DH's offer! You need a break. I need one desparately myself.

Buckeye -- highchair is where we do most of unpopular tasks for my kids, too like cutting nails. That is so cute Ellie asks for her hair to be done. She's a girlie, isn't she? Do you or your DH have red hair? Sometime I hear it popps out all the sudden in family. Since I have black hair and Mike's side has some black haired people in the family, my kids's hair is pretty dark. For a change, I want a blond haired baby but I don't think that is not going to happen!

I was just plainly exhausted yesterday. I was cranky and I felt horrible for being that way. I forgot to set the alarm this morning and woke up at 6 instead of 5. Suddenly, I do feel better. I guess I wasn't getting enough sleep. So, Twinmommy -- you definitely need to sleep in this weekend!

Well gotta go make some dinner now.

Take care!

Di---check in! How are you? I hope things have settled down over there. I haven't heard anything in a while!

Tolbee--I have brown/blond hair, but when I was a little girl, I had strawberry blond hair. My dad is a red head. DH is a brunette, but his grandfather was a red head. Soooooo, since we have red heads on both sides, we got ourselves a ginger! Braeden's red is more like DH's grandpa's coloring. I love the color. I hope it stays that way. (DH's grandpa's eventually turned to brown when he was older. )

Suga--pm me your blog address! I want to see baby thighs! Kholtan, loved the snowmobiling pics. Tolbee--your one year olds (and sean!) look so cute! LOVE the dark hair! And you look GREAT too!

Have a great night gals!

Kim~ I hope Braeden's hair stays that color too! It's one of the best reds I have ever seen. We don't have any red heads on either side but for how blond both dh and I were as children we are surprised we don't have a child with super blond hair??? Maybe this one? Your kid's hair also looks so thick! Jelous!!!!! My little fella has hair so thin and fine it never looks like we comb it. Plus, I am not ready to cut it yet!!!

Kimi~That is hilarious about everything you packed!!! I would say you can get away with less for sure this time. August will be so nice. Hot but nice. All 7 of our kids will meet! Did I say SEVEN!!!!! :D Glad you got caught up on some sleep too!

Twinmommy~ I think our storgage place goes up every year in an attempt for people not to just hold to them forever w/o doing something. Maybe they get more sales by doing that or maybe they just don't have the room but I can't imagine paying 1250 by the year we MIGHT ever use it! :? Glad yours is resonable and congrats on the insurance! What a relief! Your girl's stats look fabulous! They are already caught up. . .That's amazing! Good job! You deserve that time off for sure!Take some pics and have a margarita for me. . .or three! :D

Just got done watching my friend's three kids. All very sweet and my kids loved the impromptu playdate. I did get a taste for homework though and I am NOT looking forward to it. Her 7 year old did his homeowrk for 2 straight hours and was no where near done? That was just for today?? YIKES! Poor little man was working so hard while we were all playing. :(
What can ya do?
Have a good night everyone!

Suga--thanks for the blog address! Your girls are adorable. I love the chunky cheeks and thighs! Ellie used to be that way, but she's slowly thinning out. I squeeze her thighs every time I change her diaper...probably am causing her therapy already! Love your valentine pics especially.

Kholtan--I meant to ask you--where do you get the mittens your kiddos wear in your blog pics? I've had the darndest time with mittens this year. Do you have any secret tips?

We're supposed to get hit with 5 inches of snow this weekend. :x I'm sooooo ready for snow to be over. I want SPRING!

Kim~ Those particular mittens are actually from a pretty cheap place around here called Shopko. If you have a string to put throught the coat arms you can either tie the string to the mittens or use a clip and they won't fall off and get lost. Also, I put their mittens on first and then the coats. It helps keep the upper part of the mitten in the elastic part. It's all trial and error for sure. The longer the mitten the better though!
