Rio-- This lady I work with is due to give birth to twins any day. She too had IVF and says that she never had any symptoms. No m/s, no soreness, no swelling....nothing. Her bra size is still the same and she is 36 weeks.

Jomae-A holiday/vacation would be great. I have used up just about all of my vacation at work with IVF. My clinic was about 2 hours away, so for all of my appointments, I had to pretty much take at least half the day off.

Speaking of holidays, my dd just turned 18 and is a senior in high school. Her best-friend's mother was really pushing her luck yesterday. The mother had reserved a cabin for the girls in another state for her daughter's 18th birthday during spring break. When I found out that there were not going to be any adults and that there were going to be other kids there (of the opposite sex)..I said no. She proceeded to badger me in my living room in front of my dd for about 10 minutes about how I need to let go and let my dd be an adult. (My dd will do whatever she can get by with and it would be just one big party). She then proceeded to pretty much tell me that I was a bad mother because I wasn't "friends" with my dd. It all ended in me telling her that I am pg and hormonal and that she needed to leave. When she left, I burst into tears and was very upset because things like that only hurt my relationship with my dd. This woman was very lucky that I was trying to hold back due to my fragile state.

Cincinnati Where did this woman get off telling you that you were not being a good mother???!!!! My oldest is 15 so I have a couple years until I am struggling with young adulthood. But I too run into parents who I am just floored by. Your appalled attitude has nothing to do with you being pregnant, you are appalled because you are a good mother!!!!! 18 is not old enough to be allowed to go to a cabin in a coed situation where there will certainly be drinking and sex!! Yes, be your daughter's friend by protecting her and helping her to learn what is right and what is wrong. You know your daughter better than anyone, not some other mother of a friend of hers. If you think that she is not mature enough yet to be put in an overnight situation with coeds, then she ISN'T!! I plan for my daughter to go an a senior trip but you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be chaperoned!!! Good luck! Try not to let the stress get to you, I know, easier said than done. We never stop loving our children. They are just as precious at conception as they are when they are 10-20-30-40. They will always be our babies. At some point we do have to let go but I don't think this is what that means. We let go in steps, not all at once as soon as they turn 18.

Hi Everyone!

We are back from our u/s and it is TWINS!!!! We are so excited. We saw the heartbeats of Twin A and Twin B and both look great!!!! We are over the moon.

Loopie and Tammy hope your u/s went well today!!!

I can't believe that we actually heard the hearts beat! It is officially now, I am pregnant!

I had the worst nausea last night, felt like I ate something rotten, no throwing up but felt gross Since my boobs aren't sore, it is actually kinda good to be reminded of my little strong bean! I have trouble planning lunch and dinner with DH now cause I never know what I can and can't eat, it varies completely by hour!

Hi Everyone,

Kelly congrats on the Twins!!

I had my second beta today 294 16dpER. It didn't quite double, but the nurse said that as long as it was 2/3 increase it was fine. I will have my first ultrasound on 3/10!

By the way, I am exhausted, crampy, and bloated!! Anyone else feeling like this?
