Congrats on the awesome beta annashope.

Quick question for all of those around 11 weeks. Are any of you having HORRIBLE allergies and congestion? I've been taking benadryl on and off (OBGYN said it was fine) but my allergies are out of control.

I also have a lovely UTI as diagnosed at my last visit. Nice that the OBGYN nurse called me 8 days after I went in, I think I may need a new doctor.

I feel pretty crappy today but I'm thrilled to be here and thrilled to have an amazing little angel inside of me. :D
estimated ER is 10/12

I'm torn on the genetic screening... I know it's not going to change anything about my pregnancy. If one has something that shows up, nothing will be done. However, DH feels like it'll give us the opportunity to be prepared and that'll help keep it from being overwhelming. Also, God willing everything's fine, we will have that peace of mind. So, we're most likely going to do it.

Annas - I congratulated you on the other threads but congrats again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freckles - with my son I was fine but for some reason right now I am dying with my asthma normally only triggered by allergies :(

Baby-blu - we are definitely going for the nuchal test and all that non invasive stuff. I had a huge scare iwth our son and downs and I was a mess but it all ended up fine.

Hi ladies - Had an OB visit with my MFM and it was GREAT! The baby was kicking and waving like crazy. It was just so amazing to watch, especially considering the little one is only like an inch long. I only wish DH wouldn't have been called into work this morning so he could have seen it. At least he should be able to go to the nuchal screening on the 27th to see that u/s. (We'll do the u/s & b/w but nothing invasive.) And lastly my TAC surgery is definitely a go for 1/3/11 so I'm glad to know I'll have my bionic cervix in a just a few more weeks.

The u/s tech gave us 6 pics (a couple of them 3d) and these two were my favorites.

I love the pics Amanda! What a lovely bean! You should be able to see tons at the nuchal, they really take a while! My warning is take the first bw with a grain of salt, the second trimester one is much more accurate. My first bw came out at terrible odds because of my age then 36, and my papp (forgot the name) was off. Ends up everything was fine but I spent weeks crying. So be warned of lots of false positives on those early ones! :)

Mellow - you super excited for tomorrow?

My DH's plane made it in early and we were able to get to the RE by the time she had to leave.
The bleed hasn't grown, thank God, she said it looks like old blood now, not really dark looking...and we saw one heartbeat, it was slow at 111, but it's still early, and we can see that there is something in the other sac, just might be a day or two behind. So the news is good, but, we are waiting for great news on Monday when we go in again. :) I feel relieved, and yet still cautious...but so much better today than yesterday. Very thankful today.

Amanda - Your little teeny, tiny precious ball of baby is so ADORABLE!!! LOVE the 3D pics! How cute to put on a show for Momma :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Mellow - Glad to hear something positive about your SCH. Was Dr. concerned about the heartbeat at all? If not, I wouldn't sweat it. Best wishes for the second sac, praying it catches up by your next u/s.

Mellow - Great news! I'm so glad DH was able to get home early so you could go today. How wonderful to see the heartbeat and it probably just started beating not long ago. So yeah, that second one might be just a touch behind. Can't wait to hear how Monday's appointment goes!

Rio - Yeah, I've heard about that b/w causing unnecessary angst. I'm going to keep that in mind if my initial results come back not so great. We're not worried about Down's, that wouldn't phase us in the least, but I would be concerned if trisomy 13 or 18 was an issue. So we'll have to see.

Mellow: That is awesome news!!

Amanda: Those are wonderful pics! 3D is amazing. I bet you can't stop looking at them.

Anna: WOO-HOO! That's a great result; welcome to the thread!

AFM: I'm doing fairly well. The persistent and violent sickness has completely gone away. I do wish that I would feel more hungry... I feel so bloated and stretched out that eating isn't very appealing. My jeans probably won't fit in another week or so. As it is now, my pants are getting tight and make me have to pee.

I keep thinking about how active our baby was during the ultrasound. Frequently throughout the day I wonder what the baby is doing - it's a nice thought.

Is anyone having cravings? Starting to grow out of their pants?

Mellow - great news! I read somewhere that anything over 100 is good! How far were you today 6w2d? Still early to see the other one. You must be so relieved! Monday's will be even better!

Bunny - I had/have OHSS late onset so I don't fit in anything and I have a 6 month pregnant belly and I am not even 2 mos!!!!! Hiding it has been tough.

Amanda- glad you heard about the false results! Just because of our age alone they tend to make the odds look terrible!

AFM - Waiting impatiently for the US tomorrow and praying the twins are both growing and both healthy with good HBs (we never measured rate or anything the first US just saw the flickers). I am excited, anxious and nervous!!!!

Hi Ladies,
I have missed alot in the past week. Glad to see and hear about all the growing babies.

My belly is definitely growing like crazy, at least my sweatpants still fit. Too bad nothing else does, lol.

Mellow: I've had an SCH since November 23, I was totally terrified when it first happened. I am still bleeding and occasionally will pass rather large clots which freaks me out(tmi). My OB is probably sick of me. I'm there at least every 2 weeks. He told me to call anytime the SCH reoccurs. Which has been 3 times now and he does an ultrasound each time there's a significant bleed. My babies are always fine, I just wish it would stop already. Stay on top of the doctor. I only had one embryo with no heart beat at 6 weeks then at week 7, 2 with heart beats, hang in there. I will be praying for you and the baby(s).

Amanda: love the pictures, its amazing how
much they change week to week.

Rio: best of luck tomorrow, how exciting.

Karen: so glad your u/s went great!

Have a great weekend!

Amanda Love those 3-d pics - too amazing!! Isn't it stunning to think there is something inside of us moving around (that big!) that we can't even feel yet?

Mellow - two blessings - DH being home and your awesome ultrasound. Was the doctor concerned about the heartbeat? Seems it's early so most likely great! I know how scared you were - I hope you're feeling much better - you have every reason to!!

Happy - gotcha on the bloating and gas... I feel like I just ate Christmas dinner by the end of the day. Glad to hear the m/s went away and so ever thankful I was spared the majority of it.

For me.... I am scheduled for the NT but it's in Vancouver on Dec 21st and I'm not sure I'm going to do it. I know the huge level of false positives and everyone tells us there's not a high chance of anything being wrong (less than .5%). I'm sure we would not abort a downs baby and but most likely would something more serious (sever disability).... as horrible as that is, I cannot see bringing a child into a world of emotional and physical pain, and as an older parent, not being as able to care for them in their adulthood.

We are doing the normal blood testing and if that comes back alarmingly bad, we'll make decisions from there. :(
