I know this sounds crazy and call it pregnancy brain but after making myself a new name/password I forget the password again and can only sign in from work since I saved it on that computer and not on my Iphone or my home computer

Franny-Your feelings of anger towards the situation is TOTALLY normal...when I was going through IVF with Mady both SIL were pregnant and I would get soooo angry over things and comments people said. It was very hard because as much as they wanted to be sensitive to my situation they would still do things to upset me (like complain about being pregnant when I would have died to be pregnant). I understand your hesitation/nervousness about calling the clinic but you know my theory on this crazy ride we have all been on is to jump back on the saddle and look ahead and not back. I would definitely ask about the anti-bodies and what you can do differently. I love you and while I would love to see Phish in Saratoga this summer I don't think DH (who is NOT a fan btw) would want me to drive 3 hours at 8 months pregnant to see them!!! I might be able to convince him to drive to AC for one of the three days they will be at Badger field since we can gamble and walk around the boardwalk as well!!

Katie-Just 5 weeks till your back on that plane to get your baby #2!!! 14 eggs sounds promising and that you will at least have a few tries with this batch!! I wouldn't worry about your future daughter having infertility problems in the future since who knows the medicine that can be achieved by then and if she would even inherit that trait. We are your biggest cheerleaders and I can't wait for you to be preggers again!

Ronda-I'm feeling great actually!!! The only thing that is a pain in the butt is these headaches (migraines) that I get almost every day in the afternoon but if I drink some coffee it usually helps!! I can't wait to see those bikini shots this summer since you will be in amazing shape!

Libby-how are you feeilng mama? When is the next u/s? Are you showing yet? I literallly poppped right away and was HIDING the belly since around 9-10 weeks!!

AFM...Nothing really new...we find out Ruby's gender on the 30th which is my 32nd birthday and we are going at 7:30 that morning but having the tech write it on a piece of paper and my DH is going to surprise me at some point during the day so be on the lookout for team BLUE or team PINK!!!

So, it's a been a while since I last posted (over a month I think). Most of that time I was just tuckered out by the end of the day. I had an ultrasound the first Friday of April - lost one of the twins. It was just not in the sac. I actually felt relief, since the idea of twins with a toddler was overwhelming to say the least.
Well, I had my 11 week ultrasound on this past Friday. Bad news: no heartbeat, no growth for the past couple weeks. I am far enough along that I will be getting my first D&C this Thursday. It was like a shock of ice water for us. Now I won't say it felt the same as losing a pregnancy pre-motherhood; it felt like a failure - I had failed to give my son a sibling. I hadn't considered that as a possibility until Friday. We have enough frozen embryos to try a few times, if we want (money permitting). We have been fortunate enough to have these past cycles covered by the insurance. Well, that gravy train is over. Anyhow, I'm still kind of numb about the whole thing. Once in a while stupid thoughts like 'you have a dead fetus inside you' creep into my brain. I think it will bring some closure to have the D&C.

Anyhow...

Claudia, I am happy to hear you are finding out which team you're on in a week!!! Can't wait to hear good news! :D

Katie, your new batch of embies sound awesome. You are definitely next, girl!!

Frannie, I am so sorry to hear your Mom was insensitive. How much have you talked to her about the whole IVF process? I haven't really talked with my Mom about it - not sure just how much she understands. I think she is beginning to though...
I don't know if you said it already, but have you decided if and when your next cycle is?

Rhonda, have you gone on your awesome vacation yet?

Sorry for the short note - this is the most I've talked about it and it's mentally exhausting (I am not a "talk it out" kind of person). Will keep you ladies updated.
Hope everyone is doing well.

xoxo,
Libby

((((((((((((((((((((((((Libby[)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))/b] OMG I was not expecting that post from you! There are no words. I am so sorry sweetie. I've been thinking of you everyday. I will check up with you again in a little bit...I am just sitting here in disbelief. I can't even form complete sentences. I love you girl!

Katie How are you? How does this clinic have so many donor embies? my clinic only has like 2 batches every year to adopt. How much do they charge? (if you want to PM me instead of saying publicly thats ok) I'm just wondering because my first FET was covered in the fee for the adoption fee, but now this one is going to be all out of pocket, and I'm trying to see what others are paying. I don't mean to be rude! I love ya. Hope you are getting ready to be preggers!! xoxo

afm I finally called my RE, and I think we are going to start again on CD1 which should be in like 5 days or so. I kept putting it off, but now that it's getting closer I couldn''t imagine myself having to wait another cycle. So all I have to do is order my refills on my meds, and call on CD1. I talked to the nurse, and she said it was my decision if I wanted to do intralipids or not, and so they do it right there at the clinic when the time comes. This clinic makes everything so easy, it makes it nice and stress free (until the 2ww when it's out of their hands). So I'm starting to get excited again...I didn't even tell Barry I called yet! haha I know he will want whatever I want...I am so lucky to have him! I am so lucky to have you girls (whoever is reading this anymore)!! xoxo

I think we need to change the name of this post...

Franny - I'm excited for you right along with you honey! And I'm thrilled that we'll be pretty close in this cycle together too! I have only 2 more days of the BCPs that keep giving me an awful headache and then I get to throw those nasty pills away! I'm happy for that, I've never had BCPs bother me like this before so I've been counting down how many more days until they're finished, lol. I'll have baseline on May 1 and start estrace injections then also, so its getting closer and now I'm a bit more enthusiastic for this cycle. I booked my flights last night and totally forgot that my FET date (May 24) is right before Memorial day weekend, oh, well then, that explains why it was so hard to get a decent price this time  I actually had to book it to stay an extra day, not because I wanted to, but because staying until Sat am lowered the price by almost half. So an extra day it is, an extra day of resting couldnt be a bad idea anyway, i just feel bad for Chris since I think it was rougher for him last time than he would admit because he asked me how in the world do I do this every day, lol. I think you should do the intralipids especially since they can do them for you right there and this way, you'll have no wondering about it, you know? Hooray for another chance, will you tell Barry tonight? Or do you have someway else in mind? hee hee. And oh yes, I think a thread name change is a great idea. You have to do it since you started the thread, but its easy to do. Log in, then just edit the first post's title. It reminds us of a failed attempt - and from here on out its all postive thoughts, right honey? Here we go!

Franny _ yes to the intralipids. they are so easy and don't cost that much. I know a gal that did 3 cycles of dE and all BFN. She then got tested for NK cells and had a really high level. She did multiple intralipid infusion and IVIG infusions before her transfer and now she is preggo with Twins. IVIG does the same thing that intrlipids do but is a lot more expensive. most insurances won't cover it and its 2,000 to $5,0000 for the drugs. I won't say that intralipids are a cure all, just something else to try.

Libby....I'm so devastated to read your post a few days ago. I know what a shock it must have been for you and DH and my heart goes out to you. I truly hope that Thursday bring your some closure and you move ahead with your FET without it costing too much financially or emotionally. xoxo

Franny-I love that you tell Barry last minute the plans and he goes along with it...good boy!!! My vote is definitely for the intrapids because it can't hurt and maybe this is the solution you are looking for!! Don't be a stranger missy and we want to be there for you every step of the way! I love FET for dummies as the thread name!!!

Katie-May 1st will be here before you know it and you will be back on the crazy roller coaster ride which has consumed all of our lives the past few years  Chris will be alright without you that extra day and I think it's great when the hubbies get a taste of what we deal with every day! My DH is great about taking Mady on the weekends but he is sure to give her back to me when he wants "alone" time to read the paper, have his coffee, etc! I tell him I don't get "alone" time for me on the weekdays!!!

Chris-I've been following your journey since I joined the boards and I hope you get another miracle baby this Spring/Summer!!

Hi everyone -

I have never been so happy to be done with BCPs before, then again I've never had a headache all day from them either. I took the last one this morning and hopefully tomorrow will be my first headache free day in weeks. I've been sort of not even thinking about this cycle yet and I insist this time I'm going to keep too busy to become obsessed by it ( yeah, that works in my mind at least, lol)

Franny - How about you? Are you getting excited yet? should we be doing the AF dance for you?

Chris - I know you have some time to go but I'll be cheering you on as always!

Claudia - Time to ourselves??? I think I remember what that was like, lol. Its the same thing around here, I end up washing floors at night after he goes to bed to get it done in peace without toys everywhere. How nice would it be to sit and read the paper every once in a while - haha, I have forgotten what thats like. And right now guess who is trying to help me type this? Of course trying to run away with the mouse isnt so helpful.. I'll take that as my cue to go now. How are you feeling there mama?

Love and luck to us all - xoxo
