Hi Girls!

Jen - Sending you a really big hug.. And just you make sure you do come on here and let your feelings out as that's what we are here for anytime you want to... It all gets too much sometimes, every step of the way feels like a hurdle. But you have overcome some massive hurdles, and here you are now on your 2ww! So no giving up! I know it's hard but I think through everything you are doing great because you've been keeping our chins up too when we have a rant!! Sending loads of PMA to you..
Jill - OMG that must have been a bit of a weird one wondering where DP was?!!! Bless you for saying go out, that was one of the first things I said to DH was you can have a beer now!!! But his adventurous side has only gone as far as a proper can of coke which I'd banned too!!!! Is he suffering from a hangover now?? Hope those AF pains go, so nearly there now..
Debra - Thanks for checking in on me! Still feel a bit battered!

Spoke to Bourn Hall and we've got 7 fertilised at the mo! I guess we probably wont get anymore even though they say we might. They also found another egg!! So we got 17 eggs, they said they were all good quality so don't know what happened with the other 10? But I am just pleased because we only got 2 embies altogether last time, so that's a big improvement. I just want the time to hurry up now, we go in for transfer tomorrow at 12.30 so I hope they all divide ok!!

Love to all,
Kel xx

Hi everybody

First of all, thank you for your kind thoughts on Sunday when I was really down, its so nice to know there are people who care.

Jen
Sorry you are feeling so bad today, hang in there, remember there are lots of people on this board who really care about you.

Kel
Good luck for tomorrow! Hope the soreness goes off very quickly. Well done on such good numbers.

Jill
Hang in there not long to go now!

I had my day 8 scan today and as always things weren't straightforward. I have very high ovaries and the left one is very hard to find. It took over 40 minutes for my scan today. The doctor had to get a nurse to find my ovary in the end. The doctor was lovely and kept on apologising for hurting me. I was so relieved when she admitted she couldn't find it because it was becoming quite painful.
Anyway, they could see 4 on my right ovary and definitely 2 but maybe 3 on my left, they decided they had put me through enough prodding and had some idea of what was happening. The doctor said my womb thickness was wonderful! So we go back on Friday. Starting to feel anxious about everything again. The egg collection was really painful last time and I was kept in overnight on morphine and the nurse said it will probably be like that this time too. Not looking forward to that. Guess I should be taking things one step at a time!

Hope everybody else is ok.

Hi Girls

Jill - I think the fact that those pains have been going for so long before AF is due is a really good sign!!! Come on you......3 more sleeps.......are you testing day 16?? If so you are very good staying away from the dreaded pee sticks!!

I am soooooo bloated tonight it is not even ordinary......if you pricked my tummy I would float around the room for an hour like a balloon!!

Love

Hi Jen,
No it's actually day 15 on Friday. I have amazing powers of self control and would never test early, I am the same with Christmas pressies I wouldn't dream of having a sneaky peak before the big day! The pain does seem worse tonight but I am trying to stay calm. I am sorry you are so bloated, how many women could you say that too I've just made myself laugh now! I have never seen you my dear and I am quite sure in reality you are not the balloon of which you described! So kiddo 5 more sleeps for you, we don't now have to count tonight of course and 2 for me!
Tomorrow is another day and you are going to have a brighter one than today I can feel it in my very being, have a good sleep love Jill x
Hi Christine,
Thanks for the note it was lovely to hear from you. How are you doing?

Can I join you - I could do with the extra support. I'm starting my first IVF cycle at the end of the month. I'm on a short protocol, but I just don't know what to expect from the Gonal F. How does it make you feel? I'm really nervous about injecting myself too. I've been given a tip from Dolly (thanks Dolly) to pull the skin taught first, rather than pinching, but I'm confused about how far to push the needle in - any suggestions?

Hi jen,
me old mucker how are you today? I feel exactly as I have for 7 days now, any second now for AF! Every time I go to the loo I prepare myself. My lovely DP brought some mags home for me yesterday "Bella"! and "Women's Own"! because he remembers his Mum used to read it! It did make me laugh, he has redeemed himself today with a couple that are a tad more up to date, bless him. How is the old bloated tum? mine is still on the rotund side though strangely I have lost wieght by just leying in bed! speak later love jill x 1 sleep/4 sleeps!!!
