Consultation went well – and I got the big OK for tmt!!!!! Got all the meds ready. I’m taking the pill (as did last time) till the 23rd, then when AF arrives will start downregging. Hope to have same side-symptoms as last time (meds made me feel happy and serene – guess I’m different than most! )

Gail, my boss is cool is with forth coming tmt, I was honest from day one, best policy I think. But decided to just keep it between me and my boss, last time everyone in the office knew, and then it was worse, so when I take time off next tmt cycle will tell colleuges that i am ill for some other reason, when I get preg I will then say 'Well u know when I was off last month, I was actually having IUI/IVF'

Still not decided, IUI or IVF next round........Consultaion in 2 wks will decide me i giess, Dh still cant make it, will go alone! Have any of you's had consultation alone???

MLG Congrats on the go ahead with your treatment!!! You are right, I always live life in the fast lane and never have enough hours in the day but I do need to slow down and make more time for me . Starting now!!

Lis - How you feeling today? Hope you are managing to sleep ok and not feeling too low. It is hard to stay positive but look forward to your post on Thursday with the good news!!!!


Luby - What a mare! You don't seem to be able to get away from all the pregnancy chat and pregnant ladies. . Hope you and DH are back on track real soon - it is a tough time and we, I think, are probably all guilty of taking our frustrations and hurt on the ones we love most. Hope your appointment went well. Keep your chin up kiddo.

Gail - Has your AF arrived?? I have not even started tmt yet adn mine are all over the place. Genewrally a 26 dayer but 21 this month. Hope it isn't a sign of things to come....

Lola - Hope your tmt is going well and you feel as fit as a fiddle. Keep up the PMA. Your posts always cheer me up!

Nikki - Glad you are back on track and job and house is good! Keep it up girl

Jen - Hope you feel better and are rid of that stinking cold. Good on your dad for writing the letter - hope he gets satisfactory reply from dr and is feeling better.

Everyone seems to have flu or colds at the moment, so far I am avoiding catching everything, fingers crossed as im away next week and I don’t want to take a cold with me!! Hope everyone that’s been ill is feeling better now.

Glad you Dad is getting better Jen, good for him writing to the consultant, hope he gives them hell.

Lucy I know that feeling of everyone else seeming to be pregnant. I always think why them not me. We just have to believe that our time will come. Sorry your having a few problems with DP at the moment, All this treatment is so tough on relationships.

Lis what a day you had yesterday, hope today is better for you. It’s the little things that always seem so much worse when your hormones take over. They say don’t cry over spilt milk, not sure if that goes for Yoghurt to. Good luck Thursday.

MLG your so lucky that the drugs make you happy and serene. I am like a mad woman when im on them. Its strange how it effects people differently. Its fantastic news that you are starting treatment so soon.

Nicki thanks for info on your work, I wouldn’t mind your boss. Mine is female but she wasn’t very sympathetic to start with, she got better after I ended up in hospital for 10 days with OHSS, just hoping she is ok this time. I have only told a few people at work, sometimes I want to tell everyone and other times I don’t want anyone to know. Have you had a chance to have acupuncture yet? Im off tonight for another session. Cant remember if I have mentioned before that if you join HSA or Healthsure you get half the costs back on acupuncture and quite a lot of other things to.

My AF has arrived Julie 34 days this month, hope yours settles down ok. Wow your planning your Christmas do already!!!!

I have got the go ahead to start my next FET cycle, I start suppression on Day 19 which is the 12th March so I guess ET depending on when next AF arrives will be mid to end of April. Im really excited to be starting again but so nervous of the effect the drugs have on me.

MLG - Congrats on the go ahead to start tmt, lets hope your AF comes sooner rather than later. Lucky you with side effects from drugs, I feel like I've got PMT...

Nicki - Good Luck with your consultation, hope it helps you come to a decision about IUI/IVF. Glad you have an understanding boss, I don't think I'll be telling anyone at work not even my boss on my next cycle, will just take time off as holidays when needed.

Jeni - Hope your feeling better hun, hope your better for weekend.

Julie - Wow, arranging things for late in the year........ oh well things to look forward to I suppose.! Think that’s just what I need, to go to a healthfam for the weekend..!

Gail - Hope you do manage to stay away from this horrid flu. Where you going away? Somewhere nice I hope.????? Great news on the go ahead for the FET, the drugs are hard sometimes aren't they, but just think you will get the best reward at the end of all this... Hope the acupuncture is OK tonight. Karina - Welcome - Sorry to hear about your loss, it is really hard isn't it.? Good Luck on 1st March with your review cons.

Right here goes, news from today’s appointment. Consultant doesn't think I needed any tests doing, said it would be very rare for me to have anything. (Yes but what if I did?) He said unfortunately it is very common for miscarriages to occur; there is sometimes no explanation to why these happen. He said he didn't think there was a problem with me carrying (which I was worried about)

I asked if my eggs were poor quality as I have High FSH, he said NO. Just because my FSH is high doesn't mean my eggs will be poor quality just means I don't have as many as I should. He said I did very well on both cycles, he just doesn’t know why I miscarried, but was certain I didn't need any testing doing.! I will have my FSH tested again when AF arrives (due 2moro)

When I had my D&C they sent "flump" off for testing , the tests came back normal, he said it was a normal pregnancy, no abnormalities or anything.

So I asked when I could start tmt again, he wants me to have 2 AF's before starting again as I've only had 1 since miscarriage. I am happy with this so looks like I'll be starting a new cycle in April. Whhooooo Hooooooo

What do you think about the tests then?

Me and DP are a bit better he came with me this morning. We just have so much going on, with IVF and stuff with him, so its a really hard time. I do feel ready to go with this cycle in April though...

Morning! and what a miserable day it is....had a covering of snow where I am this morning?! Is spring ever going to arrive. Hate the drizzly weather and hate sitting in sodding traffic jams for an hour like I did this morning!!

Anyway, I feel like today is going to be a good day!! Feeling very positive and much better in myself. Got lots to look forward, and yes, I am premature re crimbo and haven't got over the last one yet but wanted to see Mamma Mia for so long and it doesn't arrive til mid Nov. My social calender is filling up fast and time flying so hopefully July will be here really really soon!!

Welcome Karina, sorry about your loss and your BFN. Hope all goes well for you next week. Will get lots of advice and support on here.

Luby - Glad you and your DP are fine again and the appointment brought positive news. April!!! Wow, be here before you know it.! Know what you are saying about the tests, you will no doubt feel better about things if he just got on with it and did it! Good news on the eggs tho and hopefully your FSH will have dropped.

Gail - Congrats on your treatment starting! Hopefully the drugs will be kind to you.

gail -hi ya...my AF was a cracker this month ...Full on!!! ( last months was a week late and then nothing really)...The drugs really mess you up...and everyone told me it caan take up to 6 months to get reregulated?!!! I do likeee you ticker...We are wishing you a BFP gail for your FET...

Lucy- Glad the appointment went well and you have a start date. If the docs think you don't need a test well i would go with what they say...No point in putting yourself through the mill. remember if FSH is too high you can do a short cycle where FSH doesn't count... good luck sweetie

I am feeling really excited about starting treatment, I'm not getting hung up on the tests as like you said Jeni, if they felt I needed them they would do them, so I'm just going for it. They did say though that they will put me on aspirin for the first 12 wks (if pos obviously) does anyone know what this does.?

Right going to watch a bit of telly in bed now, I've got an ear infection and it really is doing my head in, its bloody killing...! Nite Nite everyone..!
