OMG 4th well that does it this has to work ...have they told you anything about why....hey i was reading some stuff on the WWW the other day and us 3rd and 4th tryers have a greater chance of it working for us ...thats good news isnt it...

there is nothing wrong that the dr can see. We are being a tad conservative to start. only transfered 1 embie the 1st 2 tries, (trying not to have triplets like my brother did!!!!) if we do we will manage but since I am 31 we wanted to try slow. BUT we have put 2 rmbies in the last time and will again this time so hopefully 4th try is a charm!!!! DH is a cancer survivor and we knew we would have to go thru IVF, but amazing how much you learn in a year huh!!!!!!

Oh my God! Thank you so much Aunty! I was at work when I first read my name on the list and nearly started crying! How silly! It just really feels like I'm getting so much support from here!

can't believe this is quiet...lol...cant imagine what it will be like when its busy!

...with all of us on this list BFNs haven't got a chance!!

becleo - thank you for such a warm welcome. i hope we all have good news to share by christmas or in the new year. fantastic news about your DH's cancer survival...such a hard time and off you go into the next one but you 2 can do it. i wish you and DH all the best.

Aunty i noticed from your list that af still has'nt arrived could you be the 1st miracle on this thread sha always there when you dont want but never here when you need her .Becky how did you go last night did you lose any thing .hugs to everyone

Hi lara. thank for your warm welcome. i am really so glad that i stumbled across this site!

i was wondering if any of you experienced IVFers have had irregular AFs? i was on the depo contraceptive injection for 5 years and came off it in january this year. i didn't have any AF until end of August and since then (about 9 weeks ago) I've had AF in total of 33 days! they're well all over the place. one of the consultants a while back said they can regulate them, which i assumed would be the down reg and stim injections but what happens about the whole thing about calling in on the first day of your AF and then starting so many days later? Mine is so not accurate and the docs think I can't be ovulating with every AF...otherwise I must have ovulated about 8 times in the last 2 months! Any ideas anybody? I guess they might talk me through that on the 4th but I'm just a bit confused as to that part of the process!

Hi Shantala - you have certainly come to the right place. Some days it makes you cry and other days it makes you laugh but we are all here for each other. That is the main thing. 4th December is not too far away now and great if you can get started soon afterwards - you should be on your way before Xmas! Sorry not sure that I can help with the AFs as mine are fairly regular. Sure that one of the ladies will be able to help though. The thing with ivf is that they regulate your cycle through the drugs so should make less difference when you do ivf. Just might be a pain getting started as usually need to wait for AF to start. Anyway we will all be here cheering you on. Ask away as people have seen most things before!

Becleo - SO COOL. I never had a shot buddy on cycle 1. You and your dh have been through so much this must be your time. What a Xmas present that would be!!!! FET was my back up plan as have 6 snow babies but would like to keep them as they are age 39 rather than age 40! Which protocol will you do? Fingers crossed that all well be well with the genetic testing and we can get going together.

Mrs M - Hope that your appointment today went well. What news? Hope that you have a great plan to get started

Haylie - an early Happy Birthday for Sunday. Just have my dh's relatives here from this evening and lots of family stuff over weekend as a year since dh lost his Dad So might mean that I am not around so much through the balance of the week and the weekend. So thought that I'd wish you Happy Birthday now rather than missing it

Had acu last night. He wants to see me again before AF to get me into good shape inside ready. Then he wants to see me Day 6 of stimmes. Then twice on ET day. He says that it is called the German protocol. This is the bit that he tells me has lifted stats by 15%. Anyone else on acupuncture? or heard about the tmt around ET or even tried it before. Grateful any views/info.

Looking forward to Abba on the X Factor this Saturday already. Despite all the family stuff will have to find time to see

Hey Carolyn - thanks for birthday wish, I won't be around either cos am off to sunny Florida on Friday! That's great news about starting your stimms so soon, am keeping everything crossed that is works for you this time.

Rachel - I didn't tell anyone last time and am not going to tell anyone again this time - only the parents. I just find it so much easier to cope with, without constant questions and everone wanting to know what stage we are at etc.

Welcome Shantala - this is a fab place and the girls are wonderful I don't know how I would cope without them.

Aunty - I was also thinking about what Rach said, any news?

Shantala AF hasnt been right for me since i started IVF a year and a half ago it doesnt interfere with a cycle i would tell the clinic your very irregular and worried about calling in on day 1 i bet they have a back up plan..i know i never show ovulation on the pee sticks so my clinic do blood test for me...they have usually seen everything im sure you will be fine...

me no sign of AF yet but im only 8 days late..LOL ok so thats the longest for me ...im to most 5 days late after a full cycle i was wishing i could have a miracle in my belly but i really cant get pregnant the old fashiond way my tubes are too messed up...im going to wait 2 more days then call my clinic ....

I am a VERY unstable AF girl.
I actually stopped getting AF 7 years ago, Drs could't find any reason, so I was so concerned with my chances and all. and the IVF drs are so great at controlling your cycle that they work miracles and I am total proof of that! I also do Acupuncture and with that I actually had my 1st period in 7 years with no medication help!!!!!! might be worth a shot (pardon the pun!) so Yes I have done acupunture with my IVF cycles before, It really does help I haven't been successful with a BFP, But it helps reduce stress, give uterus support and honestly I LOVE IT!
Auntie AF yet??? i am praying for you!!!! can you imagine if you really are a miracle????
Carolyn it would be very cool to cycle together! I am so confident today too. gotta love these days. DH and I have been thru alot and I pray the 4th time is it!!!!! keep on trucking right!

Hi Ladies, I was hoping it would be ok for me to join all of you. I was in the November thread but things have been pushed back. I have to have a surgery on December 7th to remove my falopian tube due to hydrosalpinx and then I will start my first IVF treatment in January with my ER and ET in the begining of February. I am so excited that I finally have dates to begin as there has been a lot of ups and downs with me since I was told I would need IVF.

I am going to try and catch up on everyone soon so that I can get to know you all. I am wishing you all the best!
