Lou - Chapstick. Nothing's worse than dry lips that you can't soothe, in my opinion. Especially during labor. :P

Sorry I have been MIA ladies....reading along every few days to try to keep up with everyone, but have been terrible about posting.

Rio: Lizzy and DS are absolutely adorable~!! It is so wonderful what a great big brother he is being.

Ryann: Both of your little ones are absolutely beautiful. So sorry about Dylan's behind, but glad you got a diagnosis. I can't wait to see the adorable pics you get from their upcoming photo shoot. :)

AFM: I didn't last very long at work and am back at home. :( I felt "wimpy", but there really isn't much I can do. My back was in a lot of pain--my OB gave me some pain killers, and my BH were coming very regularly while I was working and even throughout the evening after I returned home. Thankfully, my cervix is still long and closed (was 2 weeks ago when I was last checked) but it was enough to have my OB urge me to stay out. Especially since I still have the hematoma floating around in there. A few days ago I started swelling up a ton in my hands (they also tingle and hurt)--OB said on the phone he thinks it is pregnancy carpal tunnel. What on earth?! New one for me. DH went out and bought me some wrist supports, so we shall see if they help. Now today, my ankles and feet are totally swollen--and I haven't really done much except light housework, etc. Sigh. The good news--both LO's seem to be doing well. Their heart scans went well and all their other organs seem great. Monday I go for an u/s with OB (which always gets better pictures than peri) as well as my glucose test. I will try to post pictures of the LO's as well as my enormous self after appt on Monday.

Sorry for lack of other personals...

Stephanie-they had the professional hospital pics, but Thad it. When is there time??? And we actually arent even doing professional tomorrow. DH bought a really great camera and we are doing them ourselves. Costco has great prices for enlarging prints!

Margi -- Sorry you didn't last long at work. And you aren't "wimpy" at all. Glad the babies are doing well!

SD -- Great pics!

Rio -- Beautiful pics. DS is so sweet with Lizzy. We need day care two days a week for sure, sometimes 3. I will definitely take your suggestions when I talk with my friend. We found a day care up the street that a friend uses that does drop in and is open until 10pm. They charge $200/wk for up to 25 hrs but require a reservation for babies under a certain age. Their drop in rates are $10/hr for babies. Thanks also for the hospital bag suggestions!

Stephanie -- $50/week is awesome. Glad your MIL is so willing. I wish mine was. :? I guess we're lucky we get one day a week.

Bunny -- Thanks for the hosp bag list! Chapstick.... got it! lol

Ryann -- I can imagine the rush if your water broke in the middle of the night. Good thing you had a bag packed though. You know, if you didn't have those things, then you would have needed them...lol.

AFM -- 33 weeks! NST on Monday. Chloé has been pretty active today, so that's good. Some days I swear I don't feel her at all and others she feels like she's got 12 arms and 14 legs. I don't get it! Here's my new pic, taken today.

Question ladies...I'm 6.5 weeks pp and I am getting sooooo dizzy. I almost fell getting out of bed last night. I made sure to eat today to see if I wasn't getting enough food, and I'm still dizzy. Is this a pp thing? Should I call my ob, regular doc?

Ryann- at my clinic the general docs would take over at this pt, but you might went to call you OB just in case (if they'll take you that's where I recommend you go.) Could be lots of thing, but anemia is high up on the list of possibilities. Definitely get checked out, it can't hurt to start supplementing with some iron at home just in case...

Ryann- Hopefully your dizzy spells are getting better. SD mentioned anemia so hopefully if that’s what it is, then just adding some additional iron to your diet will help. I cant wait to see how your pics turn out from the at home photo session. I will probably end up doing something similar and taking pics at home and just buying prints- much cheaper! Stinks that you have to go back to work Sept 23, but im sure you will get down a new routine balancing everything in no time.

Lou- Looking great still!! I cant believe time is going by so fast and you are already 33 ½ wks- Chloe will be here before you know it. Isnt it crazy how sometimes you barely feel her at all and then at other time she feels like an alien with extra arms and legs?

SD- From what I can see those pics look amazing!!! DS is adorable in that little chair with his feet kicked up. And you look absolutely tiny!!! You have a beautiful family.

Margi- Sorry you didn’t make it back to work for too long. You definitely shouldn’t consider yourself wimpy though. You put up a good fight and at this point your body is just in baby preparation mode- not work mode. Sorry to hear about the carpel tunnel but hopefully the wrist supports give you some relief. Glad both of those little ones are doing well. Good luck on the Glucose test today and you better post those pictures!!!

Rio- You did get very lucky that DS is so adoring of his new sister. I am sure they will share a close bond over the years and develop a friendship to last the ages. I know I personally don’t know what I would do without my siblings at this point- it really is a special relationship.

Stephanie- Ill have to check out the Fisher Price Space Saver swing. We had registered for 2 Fisher Price cradle swings, but we really don’t have tons of extra space. Not to mention that space saver swing is a lot cheaper than the cradle swing. We may have to switch at least one of them out for that one. Glad the boys are doing so well and are growing like crazy.

AFM- Well the rash had completely gone away last week so after a few days of clear skin on my belly I decided it would probably be ok to wear jeans to work Friday despite the band. I also thought when we went to the state fair that rolling the band down would eliminate the issue…Guess I was wrong. Saturday night the rash started creeping back in- only in the places the belly bands had touched. So since im starting the cream again its back to dresses for me. I went to motherhood and target yesterday and ended up getting some good deals- probably paid $65 for 6 different dresses! Go back to MFM Wednesday for another cervix check. So excited to be creeping up on 24 wks!

Who has to do NST's? I was told my the midwife at my appointment on Friday that starting at 32 weeks, I'll have to do NST's 2 to 3 times a week. I can see once a week but isn't 2 to 3 times a week a lot? Guess that's what i get for being old, overweight with high blood pressure and insulin resistance. :D :D On a good note, i go to the Peri on Friday and get to see little Jacob again.

Sorry Gals that I don't keep up with personals. I do follow the posts for everyone and glad to see things are going good with everyone.

Fun- Ive never heard of 3 times a week for NSTs. Maybe they will do 1 and see the results and would potentially do 2 depending on how things go. Its exciting that you get to see Jacob again on friday though!! Its so nice seeing their little faces on the screen even if it is only for a few minutes. You need to post some pics of your little bump soon!

I know some girls here were interested in the baby ktan carrier, especially twin mommas. I got mine from diapers.com but got an email for a coupon for 40% off http://www.facebook.com/babyktan?v=app_201742856511228 I already used mine with Lizzy, it is easy to put on and she seemed happy!

fun - i had NST once a week then the last 2 weeks 2 x a week, it is reassuring to hear the HB and feel movement!

Blair - glad rash is gone and good deal on dresses!

on and off note.. why are all the tickers not updating correctly. I have several on different boards and the only one that works correctly is the one i got off the ticker factory. I have to update the one on this board every week. Just a little annoying. I can't have 16weeks 3 days to go forever.. LOL!!
