AWWWWWW Sassy! I'm getting the chills with you girl! I'm SO glad that your PMA is back in force! It's great to hear you speak like that and by all means, my dear, I wish you fall in that comfy 50%! BFP!

AMD Sorry to hear that one of your two embies did not make it to the transfer. At least one is back now, so it's great! And of course B is amazing; as Aunty and some others kept repeating, those grades are a good reference, but they do not grade the quality of the babies you get! So I'm praying for a beautiful, healthy baby for you! And I'll be with you in thoughts for the 2ww!

Cheers!

Sophie-
whats a happening? hope IBS is doing better. yeah I had episodes when I was stimming but I kept up with accu and it helped alot. bu with stress being a great trigger for my IBS I just tried to relax as much as I could.... good days and not so good ones :)

Rachel-

Hi all, finally got caught up so this is going to be a huge post.

Ems, don't fret too much they may find more on collection day, and we do only need one.
Jodic, congrats and good luck on transfer.12 is fantastic should be plenty spare.
Vickie, 19 wow, i got 20 from my fresh cycle (icsi), 18 fertilised and after 2 days 12 were excellent quality, i froze 10 and am on my 2nd FET, I had a chemical from my first, so i now know i can get prenant, i've just to keep them there. I have 2 6cell still in the freezer i think these are my best chance. Also FET is much easier.
tans, due to all the drugs we use symptoms are everywhere, just try and stay sane. good luck.
Wisconsingirl, nice to see you glad you are well on your way, my fingers and toes are crossed for you, are you doing ICSI?
AMC,how many are hiding in there? can't wait to find out.
Sassy and Mia, i can't beleive your both ready to go again, you'll be at the end of your 2ww when i'm just starting, way to go.
Silvercharm, we told no one also , we find it easier to cope, however i cracked and blurted to my mum as she was nagging about how we should have tests to find out why, and that if anyones marraige was strong enough it was ours, so i told her luckily she lives in spain so i only get the odd phone call.
My, congrats on 2, don't they make you sick its our money, our choice. But you stand a great chance my transfers are all day 2.
Shantala,Hope your open eve went well, I used the spray, nefarin or something like, I did 3 a day then 4 a day or other way round can't remember. I think the difference is in the US they use shots for everything wheras in the UK they use alternatives to make it easier on us. i don't think the outcome is any different we just sniff a lot and its unpleasant for a few minutes, tastes horrible too! I still prefer it to injections though, i did nasal spray, then gonal F 225mg once a day at night for 10 days then my trigger shot. I got 20 eggs. I am okay its a male factor we did ICSI. hope this helps.

To everyone else i missed, sorry, sticky baby dust to you all.

As for me AF arrived today, always more painful when i'm on a cycle. But should be on course for eostrogen next Wed, I think FET will be 5th or 6th Feb.
all for now

Hi, Ladies.

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that everything went well with the EC today. 10 eggs were retrieved. Other than me crying when I woke up, everything was fine. I said to the nurse why am I crying. She said its all the hormones we pumped into you! Everything leads up to this point and everything just comes out. I was kinda embarrassed 'cause I couldn't stop crying, but nothing was wrong with me! But she was very cool and understanding.

Anyway, I will catch up with everyone a little later or sometime tomorrow.

Take care!

Hi Ladies,

I only have time for a quick post. Went for just blood work this morning and they said everything "looked good" whatever that means. My meds are staying the same and I go for bloodwork and ultrasound on the 20th.

Will catch up with all you lovely ladies later!

Love and Baby Dust to all,
Erin

Hey Vickie!

By all means, I support you in your decision, and I hope you'll get a BFP AND little cuties left to freeze so you can give it another try in the future if you want to!

Hugs,

Aunty, How are you feeling with the cycle now. After suppresion check, will you then stimm??

Ems, On my first IVF I only had 4 mature eggs (3 immature) and out of 4, 3 fertilised, 2 put back and 1 BFP... I know I miscarried but have faith honey in yourself. I know its hard...I'm dreading my scan on Friday..

Tony, Looks like your lovely wife will be having EC same day as EMS and myself..hope we all get our BFPS...

Sophie, I suffered with IBS on all my previous IVF's and previously for 10 years so I decided to get Colonic Hydrotherapy done 2 months ago and I have never looked back...all the toxins gone, everything working normal and all previous IVF drugs cleared from the system. You can't have it done while you are going through treatment but I would recommend this treatment for getting rid of IBS. The bonus was I lost 5lbs in the process.

Vickie, Well done on all the eggs..my god your tummy must have been sore carrying all those around.

So I have my follie scan on Friday to see how many are in there. I am not looking forward to this at all. I have had more cramps that previous cycles so I am hoping this is good news but who knows.

Best of luck to all of you in your cycles.

Starting Puregon and Repronox

Post by nouna »

Hello Ladies,

I also would like to join the forum, this would also be my first IVF. I will start the stimulation phase this Friday. I have to take two kind of meds Puregon and Repronox. The nurse told me that I should take them at least 9 days before the ER. I will do a blood test this Friday to check if everything is okay so I can start the injections.
I already took Lupron, and had 2 sides effect the first one was headache and vaginal dryness.
I'm a bit afraid of ER, but I always think in a positive way.....I'm doing all this to have a beautiful baby at the end.
Mr ER will be approximately on January29 or 30, anyone similar to me?
Good luck everyone.

Thanks so much to all of you who have given me words of encouragement. I'm feeling a bit better about things now but still not 100% up on my PMA! Must try harder on that...

Aunty - woo hoo, you're almost there.. bring on that egg food. You've waited so long this time I'm glad things are going in the right direction for you. :)

Vickie - glad you decided to freeze any embies that are left. I think its 100% the right choice. I remember Ghost posting on here that success rates with FETs can be better than fresh cycles because often the endometrium is at its optimum condition with FETs, whereas it can go a little to far with fresh because of the stim drugs. Its a great back up plan, not that you're going to need it...I have everything crossed for you sweetie.

Anyway, its off for some "quiet time" now before I have an early night. Its been quite a draining day...

Sleep tight everyone. Sending happy thoughts and baby dust to you all.

Love Emma xxx

a big "shout out" to nouna: Welcome to the thread (as i affectionately call it, the "looney bin" ). IVF is quite the rollercoaster, but you will have lots of support here. If i remember everyone else's dates right, you should have plenty of company w/your stims, ER and ET. Best of luck to you!

Haven't done personals in a few days, so will be back with those in a bit...
