ok so I am like really pissed off after talking tothe nurse practioner! I gave it to her( must be hormones)! She told me my DH sperm wash was poor after the embryologist said it was good. She told me my egg quality was poor after tje embryologist told me my embryos "werent great but good" she told me they have trouble getting good quality eggs from someone with a high FSH..even though Im yound and I asked what was it? She goes...3.1 so thats good! One time I think I had a higher number is what she was refering too! I freaked out and basically told them so you lied to me? You misled me into thinking my embryos and eggs were good (so that would explain only 1 fertilizing huh?) she said yes bc with ICSI we normally have a 80%fert rate...so WTF happened? So pissed off. I am on my cell and its dying!!!! So freaking annoyed

Lauren - WTF again? That is complete crap. How horrible of them to mislead you, your AFC and your FSH are great maybe they are the fuckups here. Is your clinic on the list below? I would suggest a new RE. The calendar I sent you was for antagonist protocol too. I am pissed off and ready to go kick their butts for you!

Rio -- Yes, I've been on DHEA 25mg 3x daily for almost 4 weeks now. I know you aren't supposed to take it when you're pregnant but I don't know if that means to stop between ovulation and AF because you *could* be pregnant. Any idea?

Lou - Glad Roxy is doing better! I have two dogs at home and I just adore them. I could only imagine having one of them have surgery! January is right around the corner! I know it doesn't feel like it, but it is. Will say good thoughts for you!

DandMe - Wow !! Congratulations

AFM - Hysteroscopy went well. I was crampy and extremly bloating/gas afterwards (anyone experience the gas?). The next day I had my teaching visit! It was so exciting. I read all the time what you ladies do and was excited to start my shots. Well Monday came around and it was supposed to be the start of my injections. I did my US/BW then went to work. From there I had a horrible Monday. I found out that my insurance will not cover Menopur. Then I found out they will not give me FLMA except for ER and ET days, and then I get a call from RE saying my estrogen is too high and they want me back on birth control pills for a week. I felt so depressed by the end of the day. I had so much excitement the week before and this week did not start well. But I have to keep trying to stay positive. So I started thinking about the dates of when my ER and ET would be done. I was told ER on the 6th with ET on the 11th (doing 5 days because of PGD). Well two weeks from ET for my first U/S would be Christmas. So I guess that would be a fantastic Christmas present! We'll see how it goes !

Chelle - I had a hysteroscopy - but with saline, not gas. I hated it, but I had no side effects afterwards. I hope you are feeling better now. We should be really close in our 2ww - I'm also hoping for a ET the first week of December.

Lou - I always thought that when my doctor asked if I could be pregnant it would be an obviously yes/no question... then I started TTC - there is a lot of gray area! I'm not sure though....

Heather - Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that you are diabetic. That sucks. Ice cream and chocolate are the only things worth living for at the moment! I hope you find some yummy sugar free munchies!

Margi - I meant that I was scared of needles BEFORE the IVF. IVF cured me of that really fast. I look back on how scary my little Follistim Pen needle was for the first injection and laugh at myself. Nowadays, I've gotten to the point where I *prefer* the giant needles in my a$$!

Cass - I really really hate the suppositories - nice to hear I'm not alone! They are so gross and (TMI) make my crotch stink! I feel like everyone around me can smell the ickiness!

Sounds like so many of us are going to be really close together. AF is really trying to come on, but not quite here yet. Ugh! I have to babysit Thursday and Friday and cant lug them both to my baseline...so I really need full flow in the next couple of hours...so I can go to my baseline tomorrow. Otherwise, I'm going to have to have DH take 1/2 a day off and stay with the kids till I get back. I babysit sometimes for DH's co-worker teacher friend. Well, apparantly I really hurt my brother by not going to his party and ignoring his day...and we fought all day over it. Perhaps that is why I havent started yet. He said some pretty mean things about me even trying to get pregnant....and well I'm just not even going to go there. It was bad, really bad.

I also talked to the doc today. He really didnt have any answers for me at all. He said both cycles in Sept and Oct were so similar and so good in his eyes...that he thinks that keeping with what we are doing is the best plan. I told him that even though I stimmed only 6.5 days in Sept...I felt that the embryos were better...in comparison to stimming 9 days by looking at the pics. He didnt have the pics in front of him, but said from the lab report that they were very similar as far as grading. We ultimately agreed (my idea) to do something in between both cycles...start me out at the 225 follistim and 225 menopur and then drop it to what we did for the last cycle at 175 follistim and 150 menopur after a couple of days. So start me out quick (jump start the follicles) and then slow it back down. It seemed like I was on too low of a dose last time because my left ovary never really did anything and that is my good ovary, too. So who knows...maybe something in the middle will work. I'm pretty frustrated to say the least.

I feel like crap, no fever but I am sweating and hot, my tummy feels distented and I am dizzy. I can't tell if a bit of sharp pain is my stomach or my girl parts, I feel like someone stuck a baloon under my ribcages above my belly. I don't have gas right now and no signs of stomach bug. Any ideas? I am super bloated but made sure my weight gain was not over 2lbs from one day to another. I did not have OHSS although I had really sore and painful ovaries cause they moved them so much at ER. If anyone has any idea let me know, my RE left for the day. Thanks!

it may still be ohss. how's your urine output? i am barely peeing although i just finished a 64oz bottle of gatorade & i'm so thirsty, dh is going to get me more. my weight gain was only by 2 pounds between er & et, so about 3 days. i'm bloated too. are you drinking? they told me water is actually not the best thing....you want to drink v8 or gatorade. hope you feel better soon! they did say that if these symptoms come back or get worse after implantation time, it could be a sign of being preggo, so as much as it stinks, it may be a blessing in disguise.
