Things have really changed now. My water broke at 11 pm. I am in hospital and likely will have my twins later today. So far so good. Contractions are like very strong menstral cramps and some in back too. Tryong to rest as much as i can.

Kjm- Already lost that mucus plug and now as I'm reading the most updated post your water?? Good luck with everything and hope it all goes smoothly for you. Get some rest and keep us posted whenever you can. I cant wait to see pics of those beautiful babies!! Even though I'm not nearly as far along I know what you mean about having no idea what the contractions feel like. The Dr asked me on wed if I was having any and I said well I have no idea. I know they both stick their butts up and my stomach gets really hard but like you I just assumed it was just them stretching.

Kat- We actually went to a class at the hospital on childbirth and they said we should start looking for a Pediatrician now. Luckily my sister lives near us and has a pediatrician she loves so we may check out that office and see if they usually do premature babies. If not we may try to find someone else. Good luck with your search.

Lou- Sorry to hear your 24 urine was over 300, but your BP still isn’t bad which is great. So exciting that you already have a date set if Chloe doesn’t want to come on her own!! You will be meeting that beautiful baby girl in no time! Sounds like shes already building those little muscles so she can make a strong appearance. As for the inlaws….DHs parents are divorced and its his mom who is all about buying anything and everything she can. She bought all the paints for the nursery, one of their dressers, and a ton of clothes already. DH is an only child so needless to say shes beyond excited and ready to spoil these babies. DHs dad and stepmom on the other hand wont be like that. Even though your MIL didn’t get you stuff off your registry, hopefully the quilt will be something Chloe cherishes for years to come.

Stephanie- Those boys look sooooo different already!!! They are absolutely adorable!! I love checking out your pics to see how they are together. How is being back at work and managing life at home working out?

Rio- Yikes…sounds like the OB may have inflicted some pain on you yesterday. Hopefully all that rough scrubbing helped clear up whatever was preventing the incision from healing though. I agree that you may want to consider some more time off. Just to rest up and get to feeling better.

Alisa- So glad that your prescreen results came back normal!!! Such a good feeling I know and I'm so glad that things are going great for you. Cant wait until you finally get to find out what that little one is!!!

Margi- You have a cute belly!!! You definitely do not look ginormous as you referred to it lol. Keep up the good work!

Sonya- So glad you and Brogan are doing well. Sounds like hes a very healthy little guy and I cant wait to see new pics of him.

AFM- Nothing new today…the rash somehow moved down to one of my legs which is nice. Luckily it doesn’t itch so I went ahead and put the prescription cream on it hoping that would help. Here lately it feels like the girls are both trying to move around even more…despite the space restrictions. Little do they realize its only going to get worse lol. Will try to keep off my feet as much as I can this weekend in hopes that the cervix check next week goes well…but with friends coming to visit Sunday I have to have the house in tip top shape! I am thinking about asking my 13 yr old niece to come over and clean baseboards (prob not necessary but something I want done anyway). Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend. Will try to post the pics from my phone after this…don’t judge the bad ponytail in yesterday’s belly shots…it was a long hot day here in KY!

Kim: Wowza!!! Things sure DID change in a matter of hours......sending lots of prayers and positive energy your way. Hope you are able to rest some.....

Blair: You look adorable!! And I love the nursery walls--absolutely gorgeous.

Mellow: Thanks. :) Trying to keep them baking as long as possible. And congrats on adorable Marlo hitting 7 lbs!!! woohoo...it can't be long now until she comes home.

Sonya: Great to hear from you. And yes, I can completely relate regarding dear Leora's loss and how devastating it was/is. She is discussing with different docs regarding her options and when to begin again. My thoughts and prayers are with her daily.

Karin1: I had that same problem....I am not very techy/savvy, but someone directed me to photobucket about a year ago and that really helps. It is free. You can upload any picture to it and then resize to the dimensions you want. You then hover over the picture and copy the IMG code and copy and paste it into your post. That works the best for me (and that is also how I insert cute icons and such).

Techno problem for me: I seem to have stopped getting email notifications when someone posts. Is it me? The site? My computer? My browser? Any ideas?

Stephanie -- Loooove the new pics of the boys. OMG, so cute! I forget... are they identical?

Rio -- So sorry your incision isn't healing well and you are in pain. :( I think 2 Milky Ways is warranted! My OB does think that my baby might be too big to fit through the pelvic opening since she's consistently measuring 2.5 weeks ahead and is in the 95th percentile. But I don't want to sign up for a c-sec right away if I don't need one, so I plan to try, unless something changes in the next few weeks!

Alisa -- Whats a pre-screen? Glad all is well! :D

Margi -- Great belly! :D

Sonya -- Sounds like Brogan is a good eater. That's great! Yes, Leora's news was awful and no one should have to go through that. It made me very sad and I cried for those babies. But she is looking forward to trying again and is intent on getting her "take home baby". I believe she will!

Karin -- Shrink your photo in "paint" on your computer before uploading it. Click "image" at the top menu, then "stretch and skew" and change both fields to 50% to reduce the size of your photo in half. Then upload! :D

KJM -- OMG! Good luck honey!!! Keep us posted.

Blair -- Grr... darn rash! Now it's on your legs too? Love the belly pic and the pink stripes in the nursery! That must have taken FOREVER to do...lol.

AFM -- I'm the same. This baby is constantly moving and stretching and I must say, it isn't always comfortable. My OB's office didn't call today, so they must not be too concerned with my urine protein results. My next appt is Wednesday 9/7 so I can talk to them then. Not doing anything too exciting for the weekend. Cleaning at home mostly and packing my hospital bag are high on my list. I've got a chiropracter appt tonight since my back is killing me. My grandma's friend made the baby a quilt and matching pillows, so I'm going to go pick them up. This is one lucky baby. So many crafty people have made things for her. I've gotten a knit sweater/pants/booties/bonnet from a co-worker of my husbands. Also a knit blanket, and 3 quilts!

At 120 this afternoon Ella was born. She weighed 4#6oz and 17 inch long. Five minutes later hunter arrived at 4#1oz and 16 inch. Both vaginal. I pushed for 1hour and 20 for ella. It was an amazing labor and delivery. Everything went great. Loved the epidural. Worse part was waiting for my dr to arrive when ella was already crowning. That was tough. I just wanted to push her out. They are both doing great. Both in nicu but ella does not need any assist to breath. Hunter is on a cbap, no oxygen but it supports him so he doesnt have to work so hard. Worse thing is not being able to see or hold them. I pumped first time. Only a drop from left side but will try again in 2hours. Poor ellas head is very misshapened but she made way for hunter to have perfect round head. They both have some hair. I will post pics when get that figured out with ipad. I am just so blessed. My favorite child birth teacher was on duty today so stopped and prayed with us. She will be my nurse tomorrow. She wasnt today but has taken care of me anyways. I cant wait to be able to go see the babies again. I just love talking to them as i cant hold just yet. They do seem to calm when i talk. So glad they are doing well.

Thanks for not saying anything ryann. You are right i would have been so nervous. Thank you all for your well wishes. More later. Going to nap now.

Oh this was interesting. They shared a placenta. Not sure how but that could have been bad but the good little darlings shared so well. Hope they always are that good to each other.

kjm- Congrats!!!! Despite their early arrival it sounds like everything went well with the delivery. Both seem like pretty healthy weights too for 33 1/2 wks. I cannot wait to see pics of Ella and Hunter!! I am sure they are both beautiful babies. Hopefully they will be out of the nicu in no time and youll be holding them constantly. Hope you get some rest and congrats again!!!

Oh my so much action, I'll have to do things bit by bit.

rio- sorry to hear about your incision still not doing well, this is getting really far out now. Hopefully the antibiotic will help...

blair- your bump and nursery are to die for!

lou- I really hope your little bean can make it through your pelvis, but I'm sure you and your doc will make whatever decision is best for you and the babe.

kjm- so happy for you!! congrats!
