Nightmares are rough! I had a boy I nannies for that had the worst nightmares even at nap time. The Ferber book has some great chapters about different stages and ages of nightmares and tremors. We had to always finish his dream for him For instance, if he said something bad was in his room we would pretend to find it and throw it out the window. Followed of course by locking the window back up and swallowing the key. His book may help. I know it did for that particular boy. Let us know what helps. I'm sure we will all go through it sooner or later.
The MIL was over here this afternoon at the same time as my Dad and I don't know if I told you all this but Annelise is frightened to death of her. Always has been and it use to be far worse. When they both left my Dad called and asked me if Annelise could breathe now!?! MIL smothers her to the poing where today I had to ask her to back up about 3 times. FRUSTRATING! She means well but just forces herself on my kids so hard. It's really uncomfortable and both Dh and I have said things to her but she doesn't listen at all. My daughter started whining today the second I said "Nanny's here!" What to do??????
