Had major amounts of braxton hicks today coming every 7 - 10 min for about 4 hrs but have since eased off also had lots of pressure still wishfully thinking its the start!!! Put the last few bits in hospital bag just in case as there would be no point in asking jason to grab the remaining bits if i had contractions as he would be running around like a headless chicken!!

7th IVF finally our precious miracle girl Kayla born 24/11/10, 8th IVF FET Sept 2012 BFP!!!
Its TRIPLETS!!!!
Hi ladies!! Quick update, personals later this week.
Amelia Francesca (5.3lbs) and Juliette Lana (5.2lbs) are here and perfect!! Both 18 inches, no NICU. Juliette latched right away, Amelia not so much. Both ended up with a little formula (A was really upset and it calmed her down, J had low blood sugar after awhile and it went back up after bottle), so we are super happy. Will try to nurse again later, but my BP has been high since c/s so I let them take the girls to the nursery to get all cleaned up, etc. Everything went really well and fast (dr decided at 10 to do c/s, girls were out at 12:19 and 12:20). I'm still in recovery 6 hours later because epidural gas not worn off on my right leg yet. I barely felt a prick from any of the needles...everyone has been amazing! Could not have gone better.
So I'm going to take it easy tonight and may have the girls in the nursery to get some sleep and try to bring BP down. We are so in love and can't wait for Alex and Scarlett to come tomorrow! Both girls have a full head of brown (almost black) hair and dark eyes (haven't figured out color yet).
Katie- hope you have your little boy in your arms and are out of labor!
Babyluv – Congratulations! I am glad that you are doing well except for the blood pressure, which I am sure, will come down nicely and soon. I can’t wait to see pictures when you feel up to it!
Congrats babyluv!!! I am so excited for you and your family-the babies sound absolutely perfect. Now for the fun recovery Can't wait to see their cute little faces.
Katie and Hope-Hopefully you are both doing well and loving on those babies already. We can't wait to hear from you.
I am still in the hospital-BP is out of control and it has been tough to recover after so much time on bedrest. I will take it easy for the next few days (going home today or tomorrow) and then catch up.
Thanks everyone for the congrats-I feel so blessed and in love!
Take care everyone!

Katie - I hope all is ok with you and Ryan. I keep logging in to check for updates. But then I realized you might not have internet access in the hospital.
Hello ladies – I thought that last night Gabriella was going to make a surprise entrance in the world. I don’t think I was on my feet any longer than I normally am each day but around 7pm I started feeling cramping and shooting pain. So I took some Tylenol and drank a lot of water and lied on my left side. Unfortunately, it got worse over as the night progressed. I became really concerned around 12am as the cramping did not ease up and when I used my fetal heart Doppler to listen to her heart, it was difficult to find it as she was moving around like crazy. So I immediately thought that she was reacting to the cramping. I decided to wait a little longer as around 2am they finally eased up a little. I called my high risk OB this morning and they wanted to see how my NST turned out around 2pm and thankfully by then she was back to normal. They told me to definitely call them if I notice it again or mainly consistent long contractions. So I guess I will see what Gabriella has in store for me tonight. Have a great night ladies!
Ryan Christopher was born on Wed at 8:47pm via c section after 13 hours of labor that only had me dilted to 5cm, I had 2 epidurals, and managed to sweat the catheter out so when they put in the second one it didnt take as well and then the OB said onto a c section, I could feel where he was pressing so they ended up giving me general anesthesia and when I woke up he was here! I didnt get to see him for awhile since my BP was sky high I was in recovery awhile. Chris is a natural with the baby and has seen him more than me. C section HURTS!!!!!! They say maybe tom or sunday I can go home.
He weighed 8lbs12oz and was 21" long - so far he is blonde fuzz with blue eyes- he is truly a miracle. I'll post the whole birth story when I go home,
Babyluv & Sara - CONGRATULATIONS NEW MAMAS!!!!!

Sara - Is your BP going down at all? Are you on the Mag Sulfate? My BP was too high in recovery, so I was on it for 24 hours (got off last night). Thankfully all I felt was warm (and it was freezing in our room anyway) and tired (could barely keep my eyes open) but not sick. I hope yours is coming down! After seeing BP spikes, my doctor was very happy I didn't wait until next week to be delivered (though I don't think I would have made it anyway). Hope you are feeling better. We've had some similar issues with blood sugar (fine now) and regulating temps (also ok now). How are your kiddos?
Angela - Your pain sounds SOO much like what sent me to triage a couple of weeks ago. Turned out fine, but I know how scary it is! Definitely take it as easy as you possible can. You are getting closer and closer to meeting Gabriella, but hopefully not too close! Glad everything calmed down by the next day.
Katie - OMGoodness, I was just posting and I saw your post pop up!! CONGRATS!!!! So sorry you had to go under anesthesia and that you could feel them tugging...UGH!!! But I am SOOO glad you guys are ok and that he's here! Congrats Mama...our 11/3/10 is a great day for babies!!
AFM - Girls are doing great. Like I told Sara, I had high BP going into delivery and it went high afterwards, so I ended up on meds (can't remember what, but not Procardia) and Mag Sulfate. I thought the mag would be awful, but it only made me warm (which was GREAT since the room was cold) and sleepy...a bit dazed if people tried to talk to me too long. I was on that until 5:30 last night, so today I'm feeling much better.
Juliette had a blood sugar drop in the recovery room, but a little formula solved that. She's also had a tiny bit of trouble holding her temps, but our room was also 65 degrees. Since it's been turned up (we didn't know the thermostat was in our room), she's been fine. Both have IVs in their arms as of last night and got a little fluid for the temp drops (or maybe something else, I can't remember), but so far they are doing awesome. Ped came in this morning and said they were great. The lactation consultant (who was soooo not a nazi!) came in and I was finally able to nurse Amelia...and then Juliette at the same time! Was super proud of the girls, so we'll try to keep it going. We've sent them to the nursery the past two nights so we could sleep (I'm obviously not above letting someone else feed them!) and it has been very helpful, especially the first night. My mom and sister brought the big kids yesterday and oh my goodness...it was the most special moment ever! Both were incredibly excited and proud. Scarlett started whining when we took "her" baby away so Grandma could hold her. Even when Darren took Alex downstairs to get something to drink, she wanted to stay with the babies. They were both great with them and I hope they will be when we get home!
I'm doing ok with the pain. I walk hunched over, that's for sure! The worst pain was below my incision after the catheter came out. When I finally was able to pee...oh my goodness, what a world of difference! Don't get me wrong, my stomach hurts a lot, but it was nice to take at least one thing away.
Hopefully we will all go home tomorrow, but it could be Sunday. I never did get the car seats in, so Darren is going home this afternoon to do that and stay play with the big kids for awhile. Then they will have their car seat test, since they were born before 37 weeks, when he gets back. They also had blood cultures drawn last night and those take two days to come back, so I'm thinking the earliest we will go home will be Saturday night. Could be Sunday, but I hope not. I love being here because of all the help (especially being in pain), but I'm anxious to get all the kids under one roof.
Katie - Welcome Ryan, we have heard alot about you!!! I've been checking to see if you had your baby. YAY !!!! Sorry to hear about the long labor then c-section. That is what I had too but the baby is definitely worth it in the end. Congrats Mommy and Daddy. Try to rest Katie or you will wear yourself out, remember to take care of yourself too, HUGS !!!!
