Leorira - Will be nice to have to a buddy with you at ET !!!! Keep me updated ! oh I remembe seeing people's names on posts or a response to a post and their name has just stuck. Amanda is Klinger. not sure who Ester is.

Tammy - Sorry you are frustrated. It is completely understandable. So you're waiting on AF then will be starting stims pretty soon?

Kynlee - I am so sorry!! I am impressed by your strength and looking for the positive with the new year. That is what will be successful for you !!

Moore - Oh its fine to call me Michelle! Call me whatever you want ! They did not have an orange to practice on but this square thing that you can pinch and do an injection. It was tan and pretty human like. I hope Monday I can start stims! Thanks for all the good word you are such an encouraging person to this board. You are so helpful to many people. Thanks

Dande - wow 10 weeks. Yeah, that would be hard to spend that much time thinking you are. It will work out !!!

Margi - Congrats on being ready for the trigger !!! How awesome is that! I hope everything goes well with the IUI !

Lauren - Awesome! You deserve to pamper yourself !! You have a great day and keep staying upbeat !!!

Rypell - I will say a prayer for your dad! That is scary what he is going to go through. Not sure it's its scarier than 30 twleve year olds.. j/k! Have a great day

AFM - just waiting around until Monday to hopefully start stims. I was so upset Monday when I was told my E2 was too high. Then yesterday I was talking with a Co worker who went through IVF and she told me that she was postoned too because her E2 was too high. Its weird how sometimes you feel tons of support but there are those times where you just feel so alone. She really made things better.

Well I am off to look a job places for a new job. I'm employeed, I just want a new one closer to home. I drive 45 miles one direction. I want something closer to home. Especially with all the Drs appointments and being a new mom.

Have a great day everyone !

Quick (selfish) post...sorry...at work and don't have much time on the computer before a ton of meetings today. Joy.

My nurse (who I absolutely love and seems so smart and knowledgeable) called me back (so promptly) to say that they do NOT ever do sns--I almost called it that when I talked to her :P --on the morning of IUI. She says once you have triggered, there begins a shift in fluids and shape of the follies so it is too difficult to get accurate readings/sizes. Does that sound right to y'all? She sounded very clear about it and understood my question. She reminded me that with stims, smaller follies can contain mature eggs, so it isn't just about the "over 18mm" follies. Also, she said she was very encouraged about this cycle as my E2 level (1165 on Monday) was twice the level of my last cycle. She was reassuring and kind--but more importantly, does it all sound good to you guys? :?:

Sorry Margi I can't help you with this... I'd think that since you have already triggered that the sns wouldn't be of any use anyhow - once that trigger is pulled, you are on your way and there's nothing that can be done to alter things at that point. It sounds like you have a great nurse and a great attitude - try to relax - it sounds hopeful.

I'm about to get ready for work... Had a great night except for the muscle pain in my stomach!!

It seems to be 'okay' for a few days and then really set in for a few days. Last night I moved in my sleep and woke up to a breathtaking , sharp, muscle tearing pain that was on either side of my uterus. It literally woke me instantly and I had to freeze in place for a few moments until it passed. I find myself moving with purpose and slowly when going throughout my day. A sneeze, cough or quick movement can literally bring me close to tears.

Ultrasound in four and a half hours. It's at 1:00 my time, and it's currently 8:30 here.... I'm excited but nervous too. So much riding on that moment. They usually make David wait outside until they do the exam, then call him in. I'm going to really insist that he be allowed in the room with me from the first moment on. I need him there no matter what the news is.

RYANN-Hey I just wanted to tell you before I was Labor Nurse I was an Open Heart surgery nurse..in a cardiac Intensive care unit so I can sense the stress you are having about your father! Know my prayers are with you and your family during this rough time and you try to relax. I know we used to do procedures like this everyday and its easy for me to say because its not my loved one but I have been on the other side before and you have to have faith in your dad's doctors and know they will do the BEST for him...and of course the nurses too :D Will say a prayer for you. Hang in there...you have to be stress free so You can give your dad great news after all he is going thru!!

Margi-ummm....I really dont know! Never had this before. Sorry I am useless for you! Sounds like what she said makes sense and I think Sonya agreed too. Good luck.. thinking of you

Cheri-I think your embies are floating around trying to find the most PERFECT spot :D IDK Ive never had a 5dt but I hear its best to get them back in there normal enviroment and let them grow..

Sonya-Thanks. I agree with your mom. We all feel many emotions and its how we decide to live each day. Of course Im devastated and my DH and I have discussed that and its ok to have those feelings but at the same time..I have to get up in the morning and feel good and enjoy the life I have..and some spending :D That is good to hear how your mom grieves because many people in this world cant grasp that. Last cycle the day before my ER my best fiend of 28 years neer woke up..died in her sleep. It was horrible. I couldnt go to her funeral bc of my cycle and procedures...I managed my way thru it and I handle things differently now! I even had thoughts of her this entire cycle...was very said she had a 3 &4 year old daughters. So I think of the happy times and go visit the girls and her mom (like my 2nd mom) and get thru it. I try to look at positives in my life while I also reflect and learn from negatives...make sense? Ok....now I cant wait for your u/s feel..i am super excited. If I had a Rio blinkie..I would use it!!!

Sonya: Thanks for the added reassurance. I know there isn't anything that could be "done" at this point to change anything, I was just hoping for an update to know how many follies grew between Monday and IUI on Thursday...seems like a lot could have happened in those 72 hours (I am hoping anyway!). But I will try to relax and think positive thoughts...I have acupuncture this afternoon (leaving work early) so that should help.

As for you--definitely David should be in the room with you!! What is up with that? Even my yucky-horrible clinic let DH be in for anything and everything. For sure!!! You want to share that moment with him--he deserves to be there.

Ryann - Sorry to hear that your Dad is still having issues. Sending extra prayers for him and your family and I'll look forward to a good report on the 1st that his surgery went well. HUGS!!

Sonya - Thanks for giving us the time of your u/s...now I know I can wait a few more hours to begin my serious stalking! And yes, I'd insist DH be in there with you too. I can't wait to hear the news!!

Margi - I wish I knew more about it to advise, but I don't. So we'll have to see if some other ladies chime in. I think it sounds promising with your higher E2 levels this time though!

Michelle - Good luck with the job hunt! And hopefully Monday we'll be cheering you on as you start your stims.

Lauren - Retail therapy sounds like fun! And good for you for giving that NP some hell! I'm anxious to hear what they think after they have their internal meeting about what happened with your cycle.

Margi...My doc did do an ultrasound on me right before the ER, but only to make sure that he could get to my right ovary (the one with all the eggs in it) before putting me under....however, what your nurse said does make sense. Dont they use ultrasound anyhow while putting the washed sperm in for IUI? Been a long time for me...and it is hard to remember....but I thought the doc told me how many looked promising as he was doing the IUI. Yes, 14's and 16's often contain mature eggs as well. What did your follicles look like at your last SnS? Your E2 level sounds wonderful! Good Luck to you! I had to laugh at your SnS comment...I almost did the same thing this morning. I nearly said, "My AF didnt arrive on time, so I need to reschedule my SnS for tomorrow morning." LOL  Too funny.

Chelle...Ester is Moorebaby. AF is here....light so far, but here. My Baseline SnS will be tomorrow morning at 6:45 am...so I can get back here to relieve Bill from babysitting. He decided to take the "whole" day off now...what a waste. I will start my meds tomorrow night...unless the nurse tries to give me crap about it...due to the fact that they will want me to come in on Sunday and they dont like to schedule Sunday SnS. However, the doc and I did discuss doing the higher amount of meds for a couple of days...sounds like 2 days...rather than the ususal 3 days...so I will tell the nurse to have me come in on Sat, Mon, Wed, and possibly trigger Friday. LOL  Glad to hear that your co-worker is someone that you can talk to. We wont be too far apart in our ER/ET dates. Good Luck on the job search.

Sonya...Cant wait to hear your good news! I'll be waiting on pins and needles at around 3:30 our time. lol That gives you 30 minutes to post the big news after your ultrasound! LOL :P Just teasin. I know what you mean about watching every which way you move and turn...I do the same thing. I would totally be making them let David come in with you....that is just completely wrong. Bill has been in there with me for everything, including SnS...when he goes. Good Luck!

Sonya....thinking of you! Can't wait to hear that u were worried for nothing. Everything is going to be perfect! :D

Margi.....sounds about right to me too. It's good you have a nurse that explains it to you without making you feel dumb.

Ryann.......So sorry that your Dad is not doing well. Hopefully this surgery is just wht he needs to get back to his better self. Sending out lots of prayers for your Dad and family.

Lauren......Ahhhhhhh.....retail therapy.....my FAVVVVVEEE!!!! I did some myself yesterday. As for the acupuncture...ask him or her about improving your DH boys. Mine made me have him tested with a lab that specializes in fertility tat does a complete breAkdown of everYthing. I showed him the results from Westcliff that was ordered by my OB and he said they weren't good enough specific enough. He said that depending on the issues that he could help him too. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Karen......enjoy your PUPO'ness. :D

Tammy.....No one...and I mean...NO ONE gets back on the horse faster than u! Amazes me!

Rio.....Andrea? Love the name....but I am with Cheri....I envisioned the same.....teeny weeny, bikini wearing' hot mama from Brazil. :D When will u POAS???? Anzxious to hear! Still LOVIN the blinkies! Really puts a smile on my face! :D

moore - thanks for the heads up and tip, I got gatorade and V8 and am trying to drink it, but I am so bloated it is hard. My symptoms got worse at day 10dpo which shoul dbe smack on implantation day so I am hoping you are right! How are you feeling? Congrats again on being PUPO! About your pup, I gave my older dog two supplements from "Best friends animal society" one was hip stuff the other a multi vitamin and he could barely walk and all of a sudden he was a new dog. They are a non profit place but have a store, check it out.

Lou - Tough call on DHEA, if you think there is a strong possibility of being preggers than stop DHEA, if you think it is a long shot, continue DHEA cause it will help your next cycle but only if you take it for more than 3 straight months. I hope you are pregnant!

Karin1 - too funny! I am not going to POAS untl DH and I get in a better mood, don't feel like getting a BFP or BFN while we are both crabby ;) when are you going to POAS?

Cheri - you crack me up! When I was 18 I was a cute little Brazilian girl in a thong bikini on the beach - oh I miss those days! Man, I look like I am 6 month preggers with an Elephant right now, so much for being those cute little pregnant girls you see around! This IVF stuff is so not fair!!! Did you POAS yet? ;) too funny with your collection! You did not get a trigger? If you did, it should be gone by 10dpo, mine was a big fat no line at 10dpo from trigger. A 2 day should do the same as a 3 day and same as a 5 day, it is just snuggled in sooner in the uterus but still floating around trying to find the perfect place! I will find my little cheat day sheet and post it here again, I think it is pretty close since the day after implantation my symptoms are so worse of possible OHSS. I am glad you have huge PMA!!!

Karen - you sure thing for BFP you!

Chelle - IVF is full of things like that, too high, too low but in the end it will give you a BFP, don't let some setbacks get your PMA down! Good luck on your job hunt

Sonya - can't wait for the good news, sticky peanut butter uterus, hum, that's a visual!!!

Ryann - our new puppy is giving me a run for my money, always chewing soemthing and there is no relaxing! I hope your dad heals soon, big prayers.

Margi - I have fun searching for blinkies, I get them all at photobucket, sucks though you get a bunch of stupid pics with the cool ones, so search smiley, blinkie and stuff like that! I am home from work this am so I will try and get DH to mail your stuff. Wooo hoo for triggering!!! Great news on your level and yes I think Ghost said over 16 but sometimes even as low as 12 can have mature eggs.

Leorira - I can't remember names unless it is in the sig!

Tammy - Sucks your AF didn't obey you, the nerves! Yeah scheduling this stuff is hard sorry bill has to take a day off. My RE was not concerned but I might call again today, I never had anything this bad. I am excited you get to start again so we can be pregnant together!!!

Lauren - hi there super awesome girl, love your PMA. I will search the post here and show you how DH # improved, and yes go get his vits, yours and DHEA asap! :) I will sen you an email with some questions for your RE or maybe you can answer. Any other tips besides gatorade and v8? hey check out the post on IMSI instead of ICSI, you might want to research that because remember it could be crappy sperm and not crappy eggs too. We tend to think everything is about our eggs but if they think they got a good sperm they might not have. Acupuncture is $$ but since you are paying so much for IVF, anything that helps right, you can try to do 3 for sure and maybe add another 2 treatments? How awful about your friend, what happened? So young, and right before your ER. So sorry.

AFM - Feeling like horrible crapola. Gained 6 lbs and everything hurts. I am 11 days past my egg retrieval and I am sure hoping that it is the pregnancy making me so sick because I was feeling ok so far, bloated, sore but ok, as of yesterday I balooned and I look 6 months pregnant! It is horrible, I am not peeing what I drink only a small amount. I thought OHSS only happened to girls with tons of eggs and only after retrieval? What the heck? Plus DH has been kind of grumpy, I love him to death and he is awesome but when he starts getting grumpy and I feel like crap, I get really bummed. DOes he think I want to feel this way, doesn't he thinkI would just rather have chandelier sex to get pregnant, we have MF and sometimes I get a little resentful I am the one having to go through all this and I don't get a ton of sympathy. I never said anything negative to him and will not but I figure I can tell you girls. He has apologized for me having to do this, but I know he gets crabby then kinda blames me on the crazy juice for him being crabby. Anyway thanks for letting me vent. Any other tips on how to deal with this late OHSS? Oh and I also had this crazy dream where I went for my US and the RE saw 4 babies (we transferred 4) but it wasn't like a regular US it was like a cartoon with 4 babies in little sacs in my belly, RE was shocked and I was craying saying I was scared with 4 babies. YEP, I am in CRAZYTOWN big time! Oh I did NOT pee on a stick this morning cause I am not in a good mood!
