Hi girls!

Meg~ Lucy is sooooo cute. She really is just absolutely adorable. I like her swimming lesson picture!
Is dh doing better. I hope his recovery is coming along and you're getting some relief from your "single mom" duties!

Tina~ Like the pic of you & Noah at the bachelorette party!

Sassy~ Haven't heard from you and the litter lately. I'm hoping all is well and the Zofran is continuing to do its job!

Fee~ Yeah.. I want to see some pics soon. I can't help you though, I have a terrible time figuring that kind of stuff out too.

Jenn~ How was the outlaw visit??
Hey will you post some pic's of Anna on the new photobucket site? I never did see the other ones because I couldn't figure out how to get in there (I told you I'm terrible at those things!).

Angie~ Any word on the glucose test?

OK so we FINALLY have our closure.
Monday dh and I went to our baseball home opener (we are huge baseball fans). It got rained out, which didn't surprise us one bit since that seems to be our luck lately! So we got home and I was spotting. So...ok here we go. I went to bed and woke up about 4a in the worst pain I think I've ever been in (I put it right up there with my appendics rupturing). So I called my dr's exchange, and guess who's on call......you guessed it.....drunk dr!!!! So I didn't even have them put the call to him, I just waited until the office opened in the morning. So I had the d&c yesterday afternoon and thank God I instantly felt better. The dr told dh that it was a good thing we did this because things were too big for me to pass on my own and I just would have ended up having a d&c anyway.
So I feel sooo much better physically and we both feel a lot better emotionally. It is finally over and we can finally move on and let go.

Ok Fee~ It is super easy. We have all of our pics on our computer under a folder titled pictures so that makes it easy. Anyway...

Log onto the photobucket site, our username is sisterhoodblue; password sistas.

There are boxes on the right hand side that say Browse next to them. I click Browse, locate the file on my computer and pick the picture I want. I double click the picture and it automatically puts it in the box on the photobucket site.

Then I hit Upload and they are there on the site in no time!

Hope this helps, I am not good at explaining computer things. I just keep experimenting till I get it right!
Jenn

Hey girls, how are you all doing?

Nickster....I am so sorry for what you are going through, I went through the same and, let me tell you, that they are very hard moments, but, like everything in life, they end and you get to go on with your life and, if you keep fighting for your baby he will come sooner or later, look at me, I never gave up, so keep your chin up and if you need someone to talk to we are all here for you!!!!!!

Jenn....Anna is a cutie pie!!!!!, loved those pics!!!

Meg....I loved the pics of Lucy in the pool, she is sooooo cute!! and you lost some more weight, didnt' you???

Fee....I am so jealous that your DH cooks, mine is only allowed near the BBQ grill, otherwise he can only master a sandwich or maybe a fried egg :?

Ange....I had the glucose tolerance test done a yesterday too, and the sweet drink was not as bad either, I guess it might be that lately there isn't many things that I refuse  , hopefully it will be ok and I will be able to continue eating my desserts each night, oink oink!!

Tina.....congratulations on your boy!!!!, I guess Benjamin (oh, yes, that is the name we chose!!) will have a cyber friend now!!

Sassy.....how are the quints doing??, hoping Zofran is working its magic on you!!!!, give us an update!!!

As per me, I am doing very good, Benjamin is moving like crazy now, which I love!!!, it looks like my belly suddenly grew in the past week, it was so weird!!!, and I am having a little bit of swelling in my ankles, but now with the sexy compression stockings  it seems to be better..... Had a doctor's appt last week, everything seems to be great, so now I started going every 3 wks instead of 4, which is so exciting since it means we are almost there!!!!!!. I can't wait to meet him, not that I want to see him before he is ready, no no no, don't you dare little guy!!!, but I would love to have a time machine, that is for sure!!!
OK, enough of me!

How is everybody else doing????

Ohh, P.S.: I posted a couple of pics too!!!

Vicky~ How wierd...today after I posted, I was going back down stairs and I thought I wonder how Vicky is. I think at first it was because I looked at my dog (I know strange!), we just shaved her for the spring (remember when we talked about that last year?) Then I remembered that you were pretty far into your pregnancy so I thought, I need to find her on that board somewhere and find out how she's doing. Then I checked back in here and there you were! Guess we were sharing some sort of sista vibe!
I'm glad to hear everything is going well. And all you girls definitely give me so much hope. Sometimes I think I have been through a lot then I realize that I haven't been through anything compared to some of you. And you're right it seems to always work out in the end one way or another.

Jenn~ Anna is a doll! I LOVE that huge smile in the Easter pic!

Nickster--I'm sorry that you had to go through that, but glad that it is over. If I can offer any words of encouragement it's just that I look back to where I was in November of 2006--not even 2 years ago and I'm just amazed. Our IVF had just failed despite the doctor's assurances that we were "the perfect candidates" and I was just sure that I would never have my baby. Time flies. That seems like just yesterday, but obviously my world is a very different place now. So hang in there. (Wow, I would hate to have to count all of the cliches that I just used!)

Jenn--Freakin' A--that is one cute baby! I am so envious of her hair! Poor Lou's is growing, but it's still pretty wimpy. Anna is adorable.

Fee--My dh cooks, too. It's nice except that we're both on diets right now (his due to medical reasons, mine due to wardrobe reasons in that none of my current summer clothes fit and damned if I'm going to buy new ones!!!!!) so neither of us our doing much fun eating right now. Oh, how I miss the days of "I'm pregnant so I can eat this whole bag of Cheetos if I want to"....sigh.

Tina--Wow, a boy. That's awesome. I'm sorry to say that so far, Lucy prefers older men but maybe your son will be the one to change her mind!

Vicky--Great to hear from you. You look great (I'm referring here to the pics on photobucket, not to your typing skills, although they seem great, too!) I'm jealous that you and Tina are such cute pregos. I was not. I had the red face and the fat all over body so that you couldn't tell if I was pregs or just had eaten way too much. Sigh. Anyway, thanks for commenting on the weight loss--I'm a trying, but it's slow going!

We had a good day today. Dh is doing great--he's really a tough guy. Lucy and I went to the Zoo today--Omaha has a great zoo and we had fun walking through the Rain Forest and looking at all the cool animals. It was still a little cold, but I had cabin fever so oh well. Tomorrow I think we're going to try an art museum. I'm so tired of being cooped up! It's supposed to be cold and rainy here again tomorrow, sigh. Well, if the weather's the only thing I can think of to complain about I guess I'm doing all right, huh!?

Take care, all!

Hey girls!

Meg- Lucy is so cute, and you already have her in the water! I can't wait until this summer when Anna and I can go to the pool. I hope she likes it!

Vicky- you are looking good! I know what you mean about wanting to speed up and have your little baby, but enjoy these moments. They fly!I can't believe I have been pregnant, had the baby and she is 2 months old next week! I don't know where the time went!
It seemd like while we were trying to get pregnant the minutes ticked by soooo slow, and now I can't believe it is over! I'm ready for another!

Hellooo Everyone!

Nickster, how are you doing? I hope things are looking brighter for you. I'm sorry about your ordeal but glad that you have some sort of closure....

Vicky, great to hear from you, so happy that things are going along nicely. Loved the pics on photobucket, Sanson is also looking Fab...

Jenn, Anna is extremely cute, she looks like a cheeky little button. You are also looking good, hair is fab. What is it with the Sisters and their good hair, I am going to have to lift my game...

Mego, lovely pics of our Lucy, when did you start with the swimming? Is your pool chlorine or salt? I take it you are in a heated pool??? I am thinking about taking Rio but not sure when to start??? I am hearing you on the non fitting clothes. I am also refusing to buy new ones. Quite apart from the fact that I can't really afford them as we are down to one income I am determined to get into my old ones. Problem is my fat distribution is centred on my gut. I've always had that problem but now it is much worse, makes it hard for clothes to fit big time as I am not really fat anywhere else...except for my nice moon face....

Helloo to everyone else. Sassy, where are you?? Are you OK???

Jenn thanks for the photobucket tute, I put it to use on the weekend. Problem was I could not get the thing to browse in my computer file which had baby pics on it....oh well I put a pic of me in New Orleans a few years back...

Happy monday everyone.

Fee

Fee--It is a chlorinated pool and yes, it's heated. They keep it at a very warm temp--I think like 90 degrees or something. It's at a gym that specializes in kid's swimming lessons. The youngest they'll take them is 6 months, which Lucy was just barely when she started and she's the youngest in the class by quite a bit. I don't think she's learning a lot--it's not like she's going to be off swimming by herself anytime soon--but she loves it and that's all that matters. I figured it would also help motivate me to lose weight, as I have to put that damned swimming suit on (and appear in public!) once every week. Some days it's more motivation than others!

How is everyone else? Sassy?????? I'm thinking about you! Well, I'm going to go check out the photobucket shots and then it's off to bed!

Hi girls,
I finally return from my periodic antisocial phase. Didn't mean to worry anyone... just felt a little overwhelmed and a bit withdrawn. But Sassy is back!!! I wrote a nice big long post with lots of personals... and managed to delete it. I am ready to throw my laptop across the room. Because really... isn't it ALWAYS the computer's fault????

Nickster: I am sorry to hear of the miscarriage. Very disappointing. But I am very glad you managed to keep Dr. Drunk away from your uterus!!!

Holy Cow! I just went and looked at the photobucket site. I LOVED seeing the pictures! What a blast!

Fee: I am so glad you posted your picture. I have had the hardest time picturing what Rio's mother looks like. You are one hot mama!

Meg: Girl---- From what I remember of the pictures from the hospital... you have lost a lot of weight! Have you lost all the baby weight? Both you and Lucy look great!

Jenn: Wow. Anna really is a cutie! I especially like her in the bow

Vicky: ok, you are what I dreamed I would be when pregnant... thin with a cute little baby bump right out in front. Yes, a little envy is creeping in...

As for me... Zofran gets my vote and the most fabulous drug ever developed. I hope to be off of it in a few weeks. But for now it is heaven sent!

Over the last few weeks we lost the identical twins. First one and then the other. I know it sounds sad, but mostly we are relieved. Neither of the babies had been developing well from the beginning and even their presence (over my cervix) put the other three healthy ones at risk. We did have a consult a few weeks ago with the leading expert on high order multiples... he has delivered 8 sets of quints which is several more than anyone else in the world... and he is located in Phoenix which isn't far from where we live. The plan was that if we were able to keep all five, I would move to Phoenix in two months to be on bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy. Now that we are "down" to triplets, I will be staying here at home. After thinking we may be having quints, triplets sound like a breeze  It is very early, but due to some signs on the ultrasound, the perinatologist gave us an 80% chance for each that they femailes. Which means there is roughly a 50% chance that we are having all girls. Oh, my dh is really in for it!!!

My asthma has worsened since getting pregnant, but after increasing my meds, it has been better the last few days. Here's hoping it will stay that way.

Well, that's about it for me...
Hope you are all well!
6 fresh IVFs plus one cancelation
Last Chance FET--- Pregnant with triplets!
