Carol: I am so very excited for you. All looks great!!! Go get yourself knocked up tomorrow!! For me the IUIs were very easy and quick...DH goes in and does his part (so unfairly easy) and then you go in like an hour later. They verify his stuff is his, you are you and then they insert the magic juice into your cervix--tiny bit of cramping, but no big deal. Then you lay on the table for like 20 minutes with feet up and relax...and then wait to ovulate!! And yes, good luck finding any HPTs in the Carolinas...I think I bought out the supply...lol...you can probably get some in GA. I can't wait to be preggers together!!!! I am 9dpo today and counting.

Anton - we will be 2ww buddies - I'm going in for my ER on Monday also! Where do you live? From your recent post I'm assuming not in the US. I'm hoping some of your PMA will rub off on me - I'm trying real hard but need all the help I can get!

Margi - can't believe you are already testing!! You are HPT queen! Good luck - you will be BFP SOON!!! Why did you go to CA for this cycle?

Tess - welcome to the board - so sorry to hear about your loss. That must have been awful - it is too scary that you can get that far along and then still not have it work. I'm glad to hear you are trying again - you will be on your way again soon!!

AFM - I had SnS today - somehow I'm up to 7 follies that have potential and then several more that are too small!! 2 are good size 19-20, 3 are around 16 and the others are ~13. My estrogen levels seem to be raising nicely too! I just did my last stims and then I trigger Sat night and have retrieval on Monday morning. Can't wait!!! I'm looking forward to relaxing this weekend and getting ready for a busy next week! I'm a little nervous b/c I'm doing Progesterone in oil shots this time around - sort of dreading those shots - from what I've heard they don't sound too pleasant When it works this time it will all be worth it though!!!

Greekchick- Hello neighbour! Looks like you, me and Leorira live in neighbour countries. I live in Cyprus and Leorira in Israel. I have many relatives and friends living in Athens! (transl. for the rest of the ladies on the board...welcome to our company and I wish you all the best) I am sure you hubby will do great when ER day comes. Don't worry! I hope Monday will show you great results on the growth of your follies and your blood test. You are a step closer to your BFP! I've visited many places/islands in Greece but never Corfu...so far! The most recent ones, in August we went to "KO" and in Oct with my girlfriends in Athens (this was like the 10th time or so being in Athens...like a genuine Cypriot!... ) and Tinos (my best friend made me a tama stin panayia to have a baby) I welcome you again and I wish you succesful ivf cycle!

SDTrying- I knew it!!!! I am so glad you enjoy your pregnancy my friend!!! That is what we all live for!! ...btw I love ice cream!!

AFM- I went for my u/s this morning and I trigger tonight at 23:00 and Monday morning 8:30am iam having ER!!! yeay!!! I am getting closer and closer to my BFP!!! my follies are super my RE told me around 15 and all sizes between 17-20. my RE avoids telling me how many I've got b/c like he said "what's important, is not how many you've got now but how many will be fertilized!" ..and I guess he is right...but I insisted and so he told me anyway So, Iam having my last Orgalutran at 14:00 today and I am triggering tonight at exactly 23:00 with CHORIOMON 5000 IU! and that's it!!! no more needles...for now. Never had this HCG med before Does anyone know this? In all my 4 previous IVF's I used the Ovitrel...but then again all the meds in this cycle are new to me! New clinic, new RE, new protocol, new meds! everything is new this time! must be the winning cycle I guess!! right!!

Request time for Kynlee!
Creamy Pumpkin soup receipe
Ingredients
Pumpkin
1-2 potatoes
1 big onion
fresh cream (just a little bit)
Parmesan cheese (a hand full will do)
salt
pepper
1 veggie stock
tabasco sauce 4-5 drops (optional)

Execution
Chop in small pieces the pumpkin, potatoes and onion. Put all in casserole with water, add salt, pepper and tabasco. Bring to boil until all are cooked (test it with a fork and if the pieces fall from the fork then its cooked) put in the casserole the soup hand blender (if you dont have just take little by little with a big soup spoon and put it in your regular blender) when is all blended and look like baby food, creamy texture, put back in casserole if you are using the regular blender and pour in the fresh cream and the parmesan. Stir and serve in a bowl with garlic sticks on the side (optional) Thats it! Quick and easy! and very very tasty! Bon apetit!!!

I'm SOOOOO NERVOUS! DH is upstairs doing his "duty" and we are going straight to lab for sperm wash and then IUI at 8:30... he was complaining that it was too much pressure on him and then he finally said "well, I guess I have it better than you".. FINALLY I think that was the first bid of empathy he could come up with! LOL. Why am I nervous? Wish me luck!

Kbillsy: Sounds like things are moving ahead nicely for you. I never did like the PIO shots...still would like to figure out why every RE seems to have a different version of progesterone...first time I had PIO, second and third-prometrium that I had to insert 3 X a day (I hated trying to remember that) and now, Crinone and Prometrium orally. Why did I go to Cali? Well, after doing IUIs with no success because insurance was capped out, I “accidentally” stumbled upon the fact that as of 1/1/11 my insurance company removed the caps and benefits were again unlimited. So I went on a search for the best RE I could find with stats for the “older woman with own eggs” in the US, that took our insurance. It was a wonderful investment! I am so glad...everything really went perfectly. Ended up with 3 “perfect” blasts and 2 morulas transferred on day 5.
Now if I can just get this BFP to appear...

Longtimer- I am so very sorry for your BFN. I know how hard it is everytime and you’ve had a long road. Sending you giant hugs and hope you find the strength to move forward. We are here to support you in anything that you decide. Why do you think your RE is ready to say goodbye…have you thought about donor eggs or sperm? I apologize, I can’t remember if any of these options will help. I just hope for the best for you.

Lyd – how awesome! That is going to be a wonderful day when you see the heartbeat! So I know all of us only dream for a happy healthy baby, but any thoughts on whether you are secretly hoping for a boy or girl?

Deftonesmo – seriously? Was your student drunk? Man, watch out mama! I am so so very sorry. Cry, talk about it and hopefully you will have the strength to get right back on the train. Sending you a cyber hug.

Kbills – thanks! It was me that was venting about my crazy switching nurse situation. I think I will! That’s great advice. Even if I have to wait a little longer. Awesome! Can’t wait to hear how many eggs you get tomorrow!

Leora – I’m so happy that your pregnancy is going well! Makes me so happy that for the group of us that have been on here for awhile are getting positive results! I hope to follow you soon! Katieb – thanks for checking in on me! The head nurse was asked to call me so that I could share my concerns with me, but she still hasn’t called me. Not surprising there…how are you doing? That’s amazing that you had an interview. It’s crazy at the time in our life that doors open. Sometimes you wonder how much you can handle. Can you take on a new job when you’re dealing with this emotional journey? I know you can, but bet you feel the irony.

Ryann – OH MY GOSH!!! How wonderful! One of each! How are you feeling now?

Margi – we are all veterans of crazy town and will do our best to keep you out of crazy town. Unfortantely, I think we have a bunch of POAS addicts and sometimes we are all secretly hoping that you POAS and share that wonderful BFP with us. I can’t wait for your BFP this is the time for you!

AFM: I am the worst board member ever because I have been traveling non-stop for work. I am currently on the airplane flying back home and paid the $9.95 for inflight wifi to catch up with my favorite ladies! So, I can’t believe that I am coming full circle, but DH and I have decided to move forward with IVF. Our WTF appointment went well last Friday and we decided that maybe we should start listening to our RE. She said that we had 4 perfect IUI cycles and that there might be something else going on. Like I said before, she thinks I might have PCOS. Who the heck knows. I just started BCP and then start stims on 4/8 and should have ER around 4/13 ish. I’m really excited. I guess I feel relief that we are starting something different with much higher success rates, but just know that IVF isn’t 100%, so I’m nervous for a negative. We’ve had bad results after bad results, so I hope our luck will change. If anyone has any menupur or follistim, please let me know!

Anton -Woo hoo for ER on Monday! I have such a good feeling about this cycle for you. Awesome soup recipe, what kind of pumpkin do you use? I think other parts of the world call something "pumpkin" that we don't have here in the states.

Tess -- Thank you! I am so sorry for what you had to go through. My m/c was due to trisomy 18 and I would have had to face the same decisions had the pregnancy continued. I'm terrified of it happening again. It's all I think about. So glad you are trying again.

CJ -- I really hope your "last cycle" is THE cycle and you will be preggers soon. Good luck at your IUI today!!!! So nice of you to offer up your leftover Menopur. I'm sure someone will be very grateful. Oh, I just saw Tiger's post that she's looking for some if you still have it!

I lost my last pregnancy between 10 and 12 weeks and I'm just about there so these next few weeks are going to be tough for me. I keep praying everything is OK but I've got no symptoms whatsoever. Maybe I'm just that lucky! I have another u/s with RE on Tuesday.

Had IUI done this morning - not too bad, but I have had alot of cramping, though I think it is because I am ovulating this morning as well, so good timing! I actually feel very nauseated. Thanks for the well wishes ladies, I hope this is our lucky cycle!

Lou.. I understand your reluctance to be "too happy"... worry is a part of motherhood no doubt. But you have lots of ladies praying for you and we just know that little bean is A-OK!
