OK I finally got some pictures of the babes. Sorry it took so long, but I had to remind my DH to take some at a lower setting so I can post them. (I don't know how else to do it)

My days are made up of pumping, sleeping and seeing the little ones in the NICU step down. They are both doing great. Hunter is surpassing his sister. He is eating like a champ and I am able to breastfeed him once a day. I think he is teaching me to breastfeed. He latches without difficulty and gets really upset if I take too long. He is no longer needing any assist with his breathing and has not had apnea since Sun night. Ella is eating more and has not lost as much weight but she is very sleepy. She needs to take 2 out of 3 feedings via the OG tube. She was able to breastfeed once and latched very well also but it is too much work for her so they are making us wait. I am so proud and in love with both of them. It is so hard to divide the attention - I want to be with both at the same time. DH has been doing great and is getting a crash course in daddy/baby care. I am so blessed I just thank God everyday. Not sure when they will come home but I am hoping by the end of next week.

I will try and catch up with personals tomorrow during the waiting time in NICU. I hope you are all doing well and progressing well.

Kjm....what beautiful babies!!! What is that on Hunter's head? His IV? And is there a difference between the tube in the mouth vs the tube in the nose? I hope you're remembering to take care of yourself too! And I hope they get to come home soon!

Ok so I just got the photobucket app on my iPhone which means I can share pics all the time now! Here is one from today that is my new favorite!

Kjm- what beautiful and handsome little ones!!! Glad they are doing well.

Ryann- love the new pics!!

Margi- thanks for your comments. We were thinking about together at first too but who knows.

Afm- cervix check didn't go so hot. Cervix is down to 1.2 from 2.7 last week. So MD decided to go ahead and admit me so they could monitor things and start steroids. Then when I got to the hospital we figured out I was actually contracting a lot more often than they thought- so now I'm on Magnesium to stop the contractions and probably on hospital bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy. Another not so cool thing is they won't let me eat- so I'm going on 12 hrs without food now. Anyway- will try to keep everyone posted but please keep us in your thoughts. Hoping these babies stay in a lot longer!

Blair - I am so sorry. Hang in there, rest and continue to bake those precious little girls. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ryann - Super cute pictures!! Yes - Hunter had to have his IV placed on his head as the veins in his hands and feet would not support it anymore. I think the nose and mouth tube are the same. They use the tube to feed Ella - they call it an OB tube.

Margi - no problem - I knew you were talking to me!!

Blair-Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you and praying that the meds work and the girls get to stay in there longer.

Ryann-Those babies are so cute!! The food coma one is pretty darn funny!

Kjm- love the pictures and they are soo cute!! Glad that they are both doing well. Hopefully they with both be ready to go home soon :)

Barbara Brooke is beautiful!

Margi- Sorry you are feeling so tired. Your getting closer to the end though :)

Ashley-Glad you were able to find a dula.

Mamaboo- Congrats on reaching 28 weeks :)

Anna-I can't ebelvie Paul is already 4 weeks. We definitely need some new pictures.

Lou- The nursery looks awesome!! I still can't believe you are 35 weeks already. Time sure has flown by.

SD-Darius room is adorable. I love it.

Bliss-Glad you checked with your doctor about the achs and pains. Trust me when in doubt call the doctor. I learned the hard way on that one.

Riogrl- I'm so sorry. You poor thing. I feel so bad you are having to go through all this.

So sorry if I missed anyone. It's hard to catch up. I've just been feeling so exhausted. The rain for 3 days sure hasnt helped. Also my weekends consist of preparing the house for Lucas. I went to my regular OBGYN appointment yesterday. Everything is good. Got my instructions for the Gluclose test in 4 weeks and I have to do a 24 hour urine colleciton which I can't do for another week or so. My c-section has been officially schedule for 12/12 at 8 am :) I tried pushing it out another week but she didn't feel comfortable with my medical history and they rather do a planned c-section than an emergency one.

Hi all.... sorry I've been MIA. A LOT has been going on in my life and I've been crazy busy. My grandfather who's raised me from age 2, is in the hospital with a perforated colon. He refused surgery because he'd be left with a colostomy and thank goodness he's doing better on just the antibiotics. It's also my last week of work as my doc wants me on more rest due to my fluctuating BP when I'm at work and the protenuria.

Ryann, KJM, Steph, Barbara, Love seeing all the updated beautiful baby pics!

Ryann-- Our boxer is an 8 year old female and she is such a lap dog and cuddle buddy. But she's still a boxer and has her puppy ways when she plays. She does this thing where she spins really fast in a circle, it's hilarious!

Blair -- I'm sorry about your cervix and the hospital admission. I hope they stay in much much longer.

Rio -- thanks for asking about me. See AFM below. How are YOU? How's that scar healing?

AFM -- OB appt yesterday. NST showed baby was great but I had some contractions (that I barely felt but showed up on the strip) that concerned my doc so she checked my cervix which is "long and closed". She really wants me to hold this baby in another 2 weeks. Doesn't seem like that's going to be a problem. I have a feeling I'll make my induction date of 10/9. My BP was 158/94 at the beginning of my appt and came down to 138/90 when I left. She wasn't happy with that. I have to do another 24 hr urine on Sunday into Monday and my next appt is Monday. Thanks everyone for all the compliments on the room!

Blair - oh my! Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. I hope those munchkins stay in there a lot longer! Keep us posted when you can.

KJM - your babies are just SO beautiful. I shared their pics with DH last night, too. Hope they come home to you soon!

Ryann - your babies are so cute! I love the picture of them together in their matching outfits. Way too stinkin' cute!

Kat - 12/12 sounds like a great day to be born on!

Lou - sorry to hear about your grandfather, but glad the antibiotics helped him. Sorry you keep having to do 24H urine collection. You're so close to your induction date though.. just a month away! How are you feeling otherwise? It'll be nice to have time away from work now and just rest. Your BP has got to come down then!

AFM - Gosh, I've been hearing one bad news after another today. First, my husband's 6-year-old niece, who was diagnosed with the rare genetic disease with a variant (SDS), just broke her hip. Her surgery is scheduled for the 26th of September, but the odds of her surviving the surgery are quite low due to blood loss and infection :( :( It really sucks when we're on the verge of celebrating the life of our daughter while DH's sister is making funeral arrangements for hers  Plus, one of my good friend's husband has liver cancer and just came out of the surgery today and was informed that he has 50% chance of living in the next few days. Life is just so unfair sometimes.
