Good Morning!!

On the count down... my injections are going ok i am on my 3rd one today and so far so good so will see, in the other side my dh suffers from Chron's disease is a "bacteria" that allows it self on the intestines and make u feel like sh** any how he is taking some shot of humira this is for arthritis rheumatic but studies has proved that help patients with Chron's disease so finally his insurance approved it after almost 2 yrs battleing with that , any how last night was his shot i gave him his and he gives me mine , his are every other week so it is not too bad but last night he got a bump of a size of like a pear on his stomach after the injection we checked and this is a side effects feewwww..... what a scare for 2 seconds so he is calling the dr to verify , today he said is seems smaller , ia m telling you all this cra** that i have to go thru ..:) . Sat i have my God son 's 5th B-day party on Hartford Ct also i get to see his little sister who also is my God Daughter and to whom i was on the birth and cut the umbilical cord :)) that was soooooo excited it!!

Ok a few personals...

Aunty - How are u?? i saw that we are almost there will see how much longer we continue "together" on dates ... i feel some how bad with the 2ww because my baby boy is alway on top of mommy and he is 38+ i won't be able to hold him up in this time i know is going to be a bit frustating... I think he is going to be a good brother he was playing last with my friend almost 3 yrs old boy and oh my!!! those 2 had a ball playing running thru the house by the time they left around 9pm i was exhausted just to watch them :). Also last time i visit my uncle that one that has the newborn , everytime the baby wil cry he will come to me mommy the baby is crying pick her up and he will go to her side to talk to her so i think he is going to be a very good brother which it relieves me..

shantala- Hope fully they get to move u earlier i know how desperate that coud be , we all know the feeling...

Ems 1971- Good Luck on Ec Monday i hope everthing goes well..

Jodic- Sorry to hear that you are sooo sick that must not be cool... but try to concentrate on what is the cause for :) hope you feel better soon.

Fed- You are a Trooper girl , injecting your selft uff!! i said i will try but didn't get ot it , my dh wanted it to play Dr with me again :) Good luck
oh!! We got snow finally!!

Silvacharm- Good # on fertilized embies- Good Luck on your ET tomorrow or Monday ..

Mom20- Thanks for the support on the injections, there is no turn back now!!! How are u??

PM- how are u? how many injections more it all depends but i know at least all together i have may be around 15+or minus, but it is a piece of cake now, the stimming ones does last time cause me side effects but so lupron is good to me ... :)

Lara 312- how are u doing hun??

Bec- SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW:) ARE YOU SHOVELING YET??? YOUR WHISHES HAS COME TRUE ...:)

Hey SS- We did not get really any snow here. I woke up this morning and there was just a slush over the drive way. How much did you get up your way? Glad your shots are going well. It took me a while to be able to attempt to shoot myself. I was just sick of waiting for DH to be ready to do them so I figured I would give it a shot.

I cant wait for tomorrow! I just want to know everything is going good and get an EC date. I feel so bloated and I am crampy today. I dont think I have gained much weight which is good I dont want to get that OHSS thing, sounds like a very painful expirence. Well I will let you all know how things go tomorrow.

Write more later!

Erin

Hello ladies!

How are you doing? I'm in good shape! It's always exciting to start a new phase of the cycle. This morning after I gave myself the Lupron shot, I could not help but start dancing in front of the bathtub as my DH was getting out of the shower, singing on the Guantanamera song "Half-dose of Lupron! I got a half-dose of Lupron! Half dose of Luuuuuuuproooooon, I got a half-dose of Luuuuprooooon!" Tee hee hee... I'm still planning on starting the egg food tonight.

I read the IBS-help website more carefully and really, the stuff there kinda rocked my world. I had no idea that there were so many universal trigger foods for IBS. It gives me GREAT hope and I've started to make rather radical changes right away in my diet. I had not been eating much anyway since Wednesday because whatever I ate, I got symptoms and/or crises! So I figured what the heck... I'll do their "calm your gut down" protocol the best I can without compromising my diet too much (I'll start growing my babies tonight after all) and I'll re-integrate some foods gradually following their guidelines. We'll see how it goes.

Aunty: You might want to check that website anyway dear; their guidelines work with both types of IBS... the D and the C... I'll let you figure the letters! ;) And you might definitely want to check it since you use the high bran diet, because it's all in the way you use it that can make all the difference in the world. Eating All Bran cereals is radically different from taking Metamucil for example, and I had no idea it made such a difference until I read that website. And thanks for the PMA; I'm not really worried about IBS misbehaving during my pregnancy, because I got the D type... I'm more worried about it right now as I take all kinds of meds that definitely have an impact on it. About my PM; did you get it? I'm glad to see your ticker change every day; egg food is approaching! I send tons of patience your way!

Nouna: thanks on the wishes! Let me know how your suppression check went!

Fed: hehehee I didn't know there was an eggie-grow dance! Ooooh sounds fun! ;) Thanks for your wishes sweetie! Congrats on giving yourself all the shots, what a trooper! Woohoo! :D I'm sorry to hear that your skin reacts that way to the Repronex shots... have you tried the strategies on the IVF hints website?

phx: Congratulations on your 11 eggs fertilized! Wow! sorry to hear that you're left in the dark like that; must not make the waiting process any easier! :( The answers will come, they will, and in the meantime I'm with you in thoughts! Either way, your perfect little embies won't just be left there; they will find their way back home one way or the other!

jodic: what a terrible couple of days you just went through! Poor thing; I shuddered when I heard your story; it sounded so painful! You also sounded very brave through all this despite the pain and worries. I read that nausea/vomiting and ovarian torsion are possible "side effects" of OHSS... I'm so sorry! I really hope the meds they gave you will help you control the pain better! Please keep us posted if you can; I feel for you, big time (your story reminds me of when I was in pain like you but because of three abscesses the size of grapefruits), and you have all my sympathy and thoughts. I hope the situation clears out soon.

SilvaCharm: you will know today about your transfer date, right? I think it's amazing that your clinic has the skills and equipment to let your embies mature as much as they can. You must be looking forward to have them back home! Keep us posted; I'll check the board often to have news from you sweetie!

cookholmes: hello darling! Thanks for the good thoughts! :D Wow, look at that, 24 follies! No wonder you're a little bloated! tee hee hee... I've kind of lost weight since the beginning of this adventure, or so it seems when I look at my tummy in the mirror, and it's hard for me to imagine that in a couple of days, I will be all bloated again! EC on Monday, wow, that's coming! How are you preparing for it? I'm with you in thoughts.

Haylie: thanks for the thoughts; I'll tell you tonight.

Macca: grow follies, grow! Hang in there, it's almost time for EC! yippee! Those numbers look fab!

Shantala, my sweet, as always, first thing is a *hug*! And thanks for your good thoughts! Glad you're looking at the website; I'd like your impressions about it when you have a second. oooooooooh the possibility you might start in Feb is sooo exciting! When will you know for sure? I think your attitude is the best, preparing for March anyway, but gosh... that must be whirring at the back of your mind all the same! I really wish you to have a nice surprise! *jumps up and down*

To all the others, I hope you're doing okay and are in a good mood! Gotta get my next patient...

Take care guys, and have a lovely day!

jodic: first of all, how you doing today??? Sounds like you have had it rough the last few days. I SO hope you are feeling better... did you see RE? second, you asked a question re: success after mult cycles... i used to post on a different forum which had tons of women who had done numerous cycles. Several of them did get preg on their 4th, 5th and 6th fresh cycles. It happens! Personally don't have anything to add as i have only done 3 fresh... but here's hoping it works for both of us soon!!!

ssalgado: congrats on starting lupron! That is very exciting. Glad to hear dh started humira for his Crohns... sucks it took 2 years!!!!!! I am hoping it makes a big difference for him.

charlie: congrats on starting stims! You are on your way now, girl!

lisa: SO happy for you and your twins! That is fantastic news. Sorry to hear about dh job... hoping a better one comes his way soon.

nouna: you have a suppression test today, no? or did i miss it?

vickie: congrats on your ET! Now wishing you all the patience in the world!

Phx: congrats on having 11 ferts! That is a good # to work with. I am hoping they will be able to continue w/your ET. I am not much help w/the cabergoline... i have been sitting here trying to figure out why they would be using it... and now my brain hurts--- and i still don't know (that would be why i am not an RE!). I am sure there is a good reason... and i hope it leads to your BFP!

PMA: Starting stims today, huh? Congrats and happy stimming!

Wendy: Welcome to the thread! The ladies here are fantastically supportive. Aunty gave you good advice re: HPT (as always  ). Wishing you all the patience in the world!!!

my: hang in there... not long now (what did you say... 3 days til HPT?)

SC: 6 ferts is great! GL on ET whether it is tomorrow or mon. My clinic only does blast transfers (as far as i know), so i am no help on your question  . But sending you loads of luck!

Cook: 24 follicles growing.. that is fab! Grow follies grow!!

Shantala: ooooo, i know you are trying not to get your heart set on it... but my fingers are crossed for you!

Druiett: Welcome to the thread! 3 embryos transferred yest? Fantastic! The waiting is killer, i know, but the ladies here are great and like you said, we REALLY do know what you are going through. Wishing you all the patience in the world!

Ahhh, ladies, last us lining check was this am... so far we are on course for FET next wk. Thought 6 wks of waiting would be an eternity (and i guess, it did feel like it :D ), but the end is finally in sight... woohoo!

Wow so much happens on this board it is so hard to keep up lol
Jodic I am so sorry that you are gong through so much, hope it gets better soon!!!
Well today is my 3rd day for lupron and I have to say that is is nothing to take these shots. I made DH give me first one Wed. just to see how it was going to be and I didn't even know that he had done it so I am dong it myself now. No Problem, I ws wandering thouth if any of you could tell what to expect side affect wise. I am still a little unsure about that. I stop BCP on tues and was wandering about AF is it more painful while on Lupron or will it be about same? Dr said I might have a full on AF or might have just light, don't know. Anyway Here's great love and prayers to everyone!!!!! :D

Hello Ladies,

I just want to let you know that I did the supression check this morning, I got a call from the nurse this afternoon, the result was pretty good and normal thx god :). I will start feeding my eggs tomorrow, I will take Puregon and repronox 1 for four days, and then I'm scheduled for blood test and ultrasound on January 24.
Phxivf: When I had a high estrogen level, I felt some bad cramping and had some nausea.
Sophie: congratulations on your supression check too
Silvacharm: thx for your support, I hope my ER will pass on same as yours.
Cookholms: Good luck to you too, best wishes.

I'm going to take the week of my ER AND ET off, do you think I would need the whole week?

Have a great weekend!

Best Regards!

aunty: you asked about my frosties... yep, they were frozen day 2. We have had ok fert rates in the past, but they just don't grow. So they will be thawed on Mon (oooo, getting chills, so close!) and the ET planned for Thurs. I am just dying to know if we have any viables in there, at this point i just want to know (6 wks of waiting should be enough!) so that i can either be real excited, or move on. Having been burned twice before, i'm not wanting to get my hopes up too much that we will have any good quality embryos. BUT, sticking to my personal motto: "hope for the best and prepare for the worst". Thanks for asking  .

Shantala, that would be great news, and it will be wonderful to start sooner, so I will cross my fingers and toes for you!

Ssalgado, my SIL has Chron’s disease, I am still trying to understand it, but if she is any example of the possibility of how it can be, there is a ton of hope! She works full time and is very active.

PMApsy, lol I will be singing that song all day now… thanks, hehehe. Thank you for the well wishes, I am preparing for the collection by not sleeping so well because I am so excited, peeing every hour or so because I am drinking so much water and arguing with my husband over us not using the silly names that he picked out. I think now that there is hope for a baby I am getting serious about our baby’s name, I would hate for people to stare at his or her name and wonder “how the heck do I pronounce that?!?!”

Becleo, that sounds like a great site, I would assume that it is a great way to make it all real! What is the link?

Druiett, welcome! If you can’t stand the wait, this board will keep you busy. It is always getting longer  I am the most impatient person in the world so I wish you sympathy, but hopefully next week it will be empathy, as I hope to start my 2ww next week also. I am usually a person who just reads message boards, but something about this group of people that just made me want to get involved! I went to your myspace page and added you as a friend. :)

Sassy thank you, i know you have said that before it was just about 5 weeks ago and well you know me i blame the drugs...LOL
wow gosh im excited its such a wonderful approach i have not seen this one before i have really high hopes for it i know that for the most part FET is so much better than fresh cycle and if your embies survive the freeze and thaw they are strong ones... i do know exactly what you mean about "hope for the best and prepare for the worst" thats such a great way to put it im trying to be in that frame of mind fingers crossed for us...
