Just wanted to stop by and keep everyone posted. I've been reading along and will do personals once I'm on an actual computer. As of now I'm still on Magnesium to stop contractions, along with Endocin. The Magnesium isn't what I would call a good time but it could be worse. I have some flushing and dizziness but good other than that. They went ahead and gave me 2 rounds of steroid injections to help the babies develop. The MD says I will be here until at least 28 wks but should probably plan on staying in the hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy. Will post more when I get my computer hooked up tomorrow.

Blair- Good to hear from you and glad they are taking care of you. Have the contractions stopped?

Ashley I'm so sorry about your niece that is horrible! But I believe in miracles and will say a prayer. Sorry about your husbands good friend, I sure hope he's on the 50% survival rate.

Lou- I'm so sorry about your Grandfather. I sure hope he gets better fast :( That blood pressure is scaring me as well. Do you have a blood pressure kit at home to keep an eye on it as well? If you don't please go out and buy one.

Looks like I'll be saying lots of prayers tonight. :(

Riogrl-That's awesome news. That would be tough do go back to work feeling like crap and not having healed yet. My short term gives me 12 weeks paid maternity leave if you have a c-section. It's only 6 for natural.

AFM: Going up to Maine this weekend to visit my Mom/Sister and Gram and hoping my son can squeeze me in for a visit. I asked him if I could take him for lunch and his response was I'll have to check my schedule! I'm like seriously?? lol Oh boy he's at college for a few weeks and has made so many friends and has joined so many activities he's too busy for Mom to take him out to lunch. (shocked because my son NEVER turns down out to lunch/dinner.)

Blair - I'm so sorry to hear about your cervix shortening and being put on hospital bed rest. That has to be a twin momma's worst fear come true. Praying for you and your girls. Keep us posted when you can.

Ryann - GORGEOUS pics of your LOs!!! They're growing like weeds! What app are you using? Cuz I want an easier way to download my pics from my iPhone. "Food coma" is too cute! We call it "Milk drunk". Oh and I had DH grab some medium flow nipples last night based on your post. We don't have reflux or add cereal, but sometimes it seems like they're bored with their bottles and it takes forever for them to drink 6 oz. We're about to try the new one on Jaxon right now.

Barbara - Brooke is such a BABE!

kjm - What sweet, sweet little faces! Hunter and Ella are BEAUTIFUL!

Kat - BOOOOOO for too busy college kid! I'm dreading the day and my oldest is only 12... :(

Lou - So sorry to hear about your Grandpa, but good to hear the antibiotics seem to be working. Isn't it frustrating how stubborn men can be about doctors and medicine??? Glad to hear your doc is making you slow down... you're like the Energizer bunny! Enjoy some down time for yourself before little Chloe gets here and is running the show

Ashley - My heart broke when I read about your niece. I just couldn't image losing one of my children. Life is unfair and impossibly difficult sometimes. Praying for her and your friend's DH.

Amanda - We need new pics of Maribel!!!

afm - Between the boys, work, and the kids' school and football/cheerleading... my days are FULL! I desperately need more hours in a day! My house is in shambles which everyone says is to be expected, but is driving me NUTS... If we could afford it, I'd have a cleaning service come once a week to help out. Instead, I'm going to try to find someone to come hang out with the babies for a couple hours so I can try to regain some order.

Question for new mommas (especially the twin mommas)... How well are you and DH coping with the day to day stress and frustrations of your new roles? DH and I seem to be taking our's out on one another often, but realize we're just using each other as outlets, so we don't take it too personally. I find it strange no one on any of my twin boards mention this and want to know if it's just us... :? Goodness I hope not! DH works with a guy who has 1 yr old twin daughters and they share "war" stories. If you can relate, PM me if you don't want to share on the board...

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Rio: So glad to hear that you get an extra 4 weeks off. Whew. I was worried about you. And yes, I see MFM on Tuesday for next u/s. Hopefully will get some good 3D pictures. Will be almost 30 weeks! Wow.

Lou: Sorry about issues with contractions and BP, but glad OB is keeping a careful eye on you and Chloe. Hope that your grandfather’s recovery continues to go well.

Ashley: What horribly sad news. I am so sorry for your niece....how very tragic. And your friend’s husband on top of all of that? I will send prayers of healing for both of them.

Blair: So sounds like they have the contractions under control at this time? Take it very easy....sorry that you are having to be stuck in the hospital, but keeping those beautiful girls baking as long as possible is the best thing. Hang in there. (((HUGS)))

Alisa: Congrats on reaching 20 weeks!!!

Kat: Hope that you have a nice trip this weekend and that your DS can “squeeze” you in. LOL. Be careful not to overdo it while traveling.

Stephanie: Sorry about you being on the run so much...and the issues with DH. Sounds completely “normal” to me. One baby is supposed to put stress on a relationship, so one would imagine two would add even more. Do you guys get any alone time at all? DH and I were talking about that the other night and figuring that it would likely be months before we could go out on a date or anything. (We have no family nearby at all). And----OMG---the boys are adorable!!!! Especially love the one of Brady all wide-eyed with his mouth open like he has something to say. :-) Gorgeous boys. :-)

AFM: Not gonna whine today....feeling grateful for all that I have. A twin momma (from a twin board) that shares the same due date as me gave birth yesterday. So far all seems well with both of her girls--they were dealing with TTTS. DH decided not to go see his dad, but had a long conversation with him the other night as well as with his wife. They say they have an appt this week to see a MD. We will definitely be following up to be sure that he goes. Thanks for all the support ladies. DH has a birthday on Monday and on Tuesday we go back to MFM for next u/s. Hoping to get some good 3D photos.

Hope that everyone has a nice weekend. Sunday should be a bit somber--anyone have special plans? We will probably be going to an interfaith service in the afternoon.

Margi - can't wait for US pics!

Lou - sorry about your BP still being high and all that is going on, I will keep you in my prayers.

Ashley - words cannot describe how sorry I am, I am praying for a miracle for your niece.

Blair - hang in there momma! tell those girls there is no rush to meet mommy and daddy

sweetpea - can't believe your son said that, too funny! Passing up a meal even!!!

stephanie - great pics of handsome boys! Yes! We don't have twins but a very active 3 yo, a newborn and two lare attention demanind dogs! So we get a little overwhelmed, we have no alone time to speak of right now and our son is now going to sleep at 10 pm no sooner! So we get in over our heads and snap at each other, nothing bad but I can see the difference. Then we mellow out and all is good. As long as you know you are overwhelmed and that's why I think you are ok!

Blair......sending you lots of positive thoughts and prayers.

Mellow.....Congratulations on going home! :D

Love all of the pictures! :D Gorgeous babies on this board! I haven't had the time to try to figure it out yet.

AFM......We had to take Maddox to an opthamologist today. He has a birthmark on his eyebrow that appeared last Tuesday. At least they think that's what it is. Its a little bump about the size of a dime. Last Tuesday at 8 am I noticed it. I thought that maybe he had hit it on a collarbone, chin or shoulder. I took him to the Dr that day....then again last Friday and then again this Tuesday. Then today the eye doctor. The dr said to bring him back in 2 weeks unless there's a change in size or position. It's really weird. I've never hear of a birthmark showing up 2 months later. The good news is....they don't thing that its affected his vision yet. If it gets bigger or moves then they will try to give him treatment to shrink it. The worry never ends.....

All in all.....still happier than i have ever been.. :D :D Trying to read and keep up with you ladies. I don't have much time for posting.

Have a good weekend girls!
~Karin~
