lisa - I am glad your brohter is recovering well. What a scary thing to go through (for everyone)! I hated the BCP too, and was so glad to be off them.

I know it is too late for rio, but it might help someone else. I also wanted to add about the bladder. My RE wants a full bladder for transfer, but after the transfer the nurses let you use a bedpan so you can lay in peace. I bet if you asked they would give you one. I will have to lay down for about 45 minutes after the transfer. I am renting a new movie to watch on my phone while I lay down. So my I cleaned the house and did laundry yesterday in prep for my transfer and bedrest. Now I won't have to worry about a thing during my 2ww. My husband has also been doing the progesterone shots, which is nice I was all set to do it myself needle in hand and he looked at me and said why don't I help. He is not a fan of needles, so it is really sweet. We also made the decision to transfer 2 embryos, we want to have the best chance of working and if we end up with another set of twins... well we already know what to expect.

Question: Anyone doing an FET have an upset stomach b/c of the estrodial? I have been feeling so sick since I took my shot on Sunday. Maybe it's just a coincidence and I've come down w/ something. It feels like the nausea you feel when you are pregnant. Of course, my crazy mind thinks that *maybe* I'm pregnant by some odd chance (even though I had my period). Sigh. Hope springs eternal.

Awwww, those Mother's Day presents are so sweet! I got a Kitchen Aid mixer... LOL! Not from my son though! And I got three embies, which is the most precious... Yaaaay, isn't it nice to start officially? What's the next step now? Oooooh... but hey if DH is away, you can still do an hpt before he leaves? I'm all against it when it's too soon, but I'm all for it the morning of the beta, just to be prepared... that's what I'll do so DH doesn't have to face traffic and come to the clinic with me right in the middle of the afternoon next week.

and yeah I had a very upset stomach (cramps) on estrace (estrogen) but it was oral... by any chance, are you supposed to do the injection on a full stomach (a long shot, but...)? Because once I started taking the meds AFTER the meals, not during, it solved the problem.

phew, glad to know that your brother will be good as new eventually! What a scare it must have been, poor thing! Oooh I totally understand how you feel about the pill, it makes me sick too. Have you tried getting your dr to switch it for one that has less progesterone and more estrogen (er, might be the contrary but he'll know)? It solves the problem most of the time....

I'm so sorry that your cycle got cancelled, it really, really s**cks. But having liquid in the uterus can interfere with implantation BIG TIME. I know it's not exactly the same... but given that my tubes were damaged, they kept filling with sterile liquid. On the u/s, it took us a year to realize it wasn,t cysts, but inflated tubes! Each time, they emptied the "cysts" during ER, and eventually when I became pregnant with my first FET, the tube (it reacts to hormones) got so big that bloodflow to my right ovary was cut and it died... along with the baby. My first two IVF didn't work, and after my third surgery, when my tubes and damaged ovary were removed, I became pregnant like that and I now have a son. I'm convinced that, stats put aside, the liquid that my tubes produced leaked into my uterus and prevented implantation. So your dr made the right call, and believe me, you'll have things under control next time once he fixes the "leak". Good luck!!!

Okay, as for me, other than the website, nothing much to report. Other than a very weird dream! LOL I slept so well last night I'm not sure I moved! And right before I woke up, I was dreaming that I was like Harrisson Ford in Witness. For some reason I was living with Amish people and I was pregnant... and about to give birth to... twins! ooooh that might explain the tiredness I feel (yeah yeah, I know it's way too early to feel pregnancy symptoms) Anyway, I thought I'd share that image with you... HI girls, just a quick post and will do more personals later.
I am officially PUPO! We transfered 3 embibabies yesterday. A 5 cell, a 8 cell and a 9 cell. So I am hopging they are getting comfy in order to give us a BIG FAT POSITIVE! My RE is testing on 9 days (but he won't tell you the result) then again at 11 days so hopefull May 21st will be my big BFP day!!!! I am trying to stay put as much as I can! And trying to keep up the PMA!

Tryn4#2 - so sorry sweetie that your cycle got canceled, give your toddler a big hug and PMA for the next one so that you can give your blessing a sibling!!! I am praying for you!

I am so excited to finally join!!! I have been reading for a while and think this is just great! A little about me...I had my first IVF in 10/09 which resulted in a chemical pregnancy, I was so upset that I decided to take some time off before trying again. So decided to start again this month and will be getting my FET transfer (have 5 frozen will be using 2)the first week of June. My husband and I are very excited and hopeful that this time around will work. Look forward to chatting with you ladies....

Thanks for all the good wishes. I am not having too much luck sleeping so far tonight... I am too excited. I know what to expect as far as the transfer goes (we did a trial-transfer), but I really want to find out how my little embryos did and I am praying that 2 made it to day 5. My RE does a blood test at day 9 so May 21st (the same day as Rio... yay), I will know something!

AFM, nothing much to report. Some friends gave me great comments on my catering website, which is exciting. Other than that, I'm a little more convinced, day after day, that I'm pregnant, and I'm even starting to open to the possibility that it might be twins. DH would have to accept it if it's the case, but I'm sure he'd come around (he'd just be worried about paying for their studies... for him, twins = postponing his retirement...). This morning, I FINALLY had THE sign I was hoping for... People STANK in the bus. It was packed and I had my nose right over two women's head. Well, I could smell their hair product, the sebum on their scalp and that got mixed with someone's coffee which I didn't see. And this morning, I felt nauseous, as in way too hungry and I had to eat something fast.

I know it's REALLY early to be talking about symptoms, but that's exactly what makes me think there may be more than one. Sometimes, more babies makes the symptoms more intense. Anyway, we'll know soon enough... hey, I found one Hagen-Daz bar in the freezer downstairs and I promised myself that, if I get a positive HTP on Friday morning next week, I'll eat it in bed! And if I get a negative... I'll eat it anyway because chocolate-covered Hagen-Daz ice cream is JUST what a woman needs to get through hard times...

Afm....had my provera labs done this morning. My doc is still out of town until Monday so I am hopng the labs show no AF on the horizon. If she is coming in her own, I at least pray she holds off until the weekend!
