Just to close off the month, I tested negative. As always, AF arrived on day 12, 2 days before test date. We both took it very hard this time, as both we and our clinic were very confident. We’d nailed the killer cells issue and in addition we had grade 1 blastos which had already started hatching, as well as 7 blastos frozen. DH’s first reaction was to say he doesn’t think it will ever work for us and I have to say I do begin to wonder myself, as I have a perfect cycle, ovulate each month and produce great quality eggs at my age (40 in Oct). Maybe we are just very unlucky? Have a follow up end Sept and I’ll be wanting to know if there is anything else they can think of, other than killer cells, that can account for the failure to implant. Obviously we could consider an FET but I don’t want to waste time, money and emotions transferring any more good quality blastos until I know that there are no issues that are preventing implantation.
Has anyone heard of a condition where toxins can be emitted into the womb? My acu guy mentioned there was a test – would be interested to know more.
Commiserations to the other –ve testers (August didn’t seem a great month for +ves) and obviously well done to the +ves. Guess I’ll be taking a break now until I have more information. We have a trip to China planned for November so, if I go for an FET, guess this will be December.
Hi Nicola, lovely to see you back but I'm so sorry at your -ve news. I thought you'd got it this time too.
Maybe the break will be a good thing and allow you both to really feel enthused before starting again? The trip to China sounds awesome, I've always wanted to go back and see more, so enjoy that. I hope the apt. produces some answers for you as I know it's so frustrating when everything looks right but doesn't translate into the result we want.

Sorry to hear about your negative.. must be hard on you..there is always hope.I hope you feel better soon.. the reason i'm writing is abt toxins coming into the womb.. A lady I knew had this problem and she had to have her tubes clipped.(the tubes, though of no use,were leaking poisonous fluid into the uterus- poisonous not to her but to the embie/s)
My doctor also did a laproscopy on me and a biopsy to check if the fluid in my tubes(which have also lost their function) was poisonous, luckily, there was no eveidence of that..So maybe you can check out that through a biopsy..
To end on a positive note,
After having her tubes clipped, this lady conceived and delivered a healthy baby boy who is one yr old now..

Ohhhh Nicola I was waiting for news from you and I am so sorry...I too thought you guys would end on a positive note. I know you must be devastated but you are handling this very pragmatically and are continuing to keep trying. I know this doesn't help...but it will work out.
