Glad all you ladies and your babies are doing well. I am so sad about all the bad news over on the October thread, it is difficult to function and now I worry so much. My heard bleeds for those ladies. :-(

As for the orientation it went well. They talked about car seats for half the time and we filled out our military records for the OB department. I was scheduled an appt for Nov 29, which seems sooooooooooooooo far away! Then they do a FULL physical and scan. I think waiting for this one will be difficult but the Lord will, if everything is fine I will be able to relax. I will be 11 weeks and 2 days then.

Well everyone take care,
Cowgirl

Cowgirl- so glad to hear that your orientation went well.... I too have an appointment on Nov. 29th (I'll be 12 weeks 2 days by then)....

Nance- glad to hear that your OB appointment went great yesterday. However, sorry to hear about your right ovary, but I agree I'd take no activity in a second if it meant having a healthy happy baby! Just sit back, relax and let DH wait on you hand & foot. That sounds really nice.....

As for me just another day... feeling good today, which helps a ton.

Hope you girls are all doing well!

hi there all.... we are ok here... i've been battling awful headaches!! i end up in bed.... this morning i woke with one, and had to take tylenol and have a cup of coffee (avoiding that since we found out) thank goodness we are doing better now...

cowgirl- glad to hear that your orientation went well.. and just think your next appointment is now less then the 2WW. I have to wait till 12/1 fpr my appointment, a WHOLE 2 days later ha ha... hope that your time go by so fast that your appointment will be here..

nance- I had the same thing last time with my ovary... it went away soon after the 10-12week mark... hope that you are not feeling any pain from it.. Just take it easy, they said to me no sudden twists or moves, like rolling in bed to quickly.. Take care and ENJOY the DH service!!!

cmoscar- glad to hear that your scan went well!!

kim- great news on the twins...they do say that more then one, you have more then one dose of sickness, hope that it subsides sooner rather then later!!

tasha- glad to hear that today is a good day!! it's weird that you'll be fine one day and miserable the next!! I just dread the headaches!! it feels like my brain is going to throb right out of my head!!!

well, for anyone i missed i'm sorry, and hope that you are also doing well!!
Take care

Good Afternoon All,

I hope everyone is doing well.

Coleen - I am so sorry to hear about your headaches. I hope you get some relief from them soon. I once read that if you put alternating hot and cold compresses on the throbbing part it helps. Thank you for sharing your story about your ovary. It makes me feel more relieved to know someone else had the same problem and did fine.

Tasha - I am glad you are feeling well today. Is'nt it great when you can say that. Hopefully you will have more feeling good days than feeling bad.

Cowgirl -I am so glad your orientation went well. I know the waiting is a killer. But it will get here before you know it. And just think that once it is over how far along you will be. I also feel horrible for the troubles that our October buddies are having. It makes me realize how truely blessed I am. It seems so unfair how hard this is. I know there is a reason for everything. I just pray that God gives them the strength to deal with these tragedies.

I am sorry if I have forgotten anyone. But you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care,
Nance

Hey gals...

Thanks for the encouragement and advice about the sickness....somedays are better than others.

Nance--ENJOY the rest! After my IVF, I got OHSS, which sounds similar to what you have? My doc recommended Gatorade, egg whites, and Benadryl (25 mg). Not sure if the Bendadryl is ok now that you're preggers...but the Gatorade and Egg whites might help.

I think it's funny how we're all playing the "when do we tell?" game! I think I'm in agreement with you gals...we're going to tell our fam over Turkey day, and then send out announcements at Christmas time. I've always been of the thinking that it's better to wait until 12 weeks. Although, a couple of friends at work have figured out my secret due to my bathroom dashes!

Some frustration on my side...I was hoping to start weening off my PIO shots and Vivelle patches (estrogen), but I guess my levels dropped a tad, so the doc wants me to stay on everything---which means no sickness relief. BUT, I'll do whatever it takes to keep these babies! :)

Have a good weekend! Take care of your little ones. I'm praying for all of you.

Good Morning Ladies,

Happy Friday. I hope everyone is well.

Kim - I'm sorry you have to continue to take the PIO shots. But like you said if it is what is needed than you will do anything you have to.

I hope everyone is feeling good today and is getting ready to have a nice weekend.

Question for you guys. Both my RE and my OBGYN told me that since I am going to be pregnant during flu season to get a flu shot as soon as possible. I checked it out on line and everything I read said that it is completely safe and that it is highly recommended for pregnant women. So I am going to go today to get it but I am so worried about it anyway. I know I just have to trust my Dr's and do it but I tend to worry obsessively anyway. Has anyone else been told to get a flu shot?

Take care everyone,

Nance

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you had a great weekend and are taking good care of yourself. I was a little down this weekend because I am concerned that everything is ok. I know it sounds wierd because we had two really good scans but I have absolutely no morning sickness and do not feel pregnant at all except that my boobs are a little sore. I am 7w6d today and my next appointment with my OB is not until 9/29. I think I am going to go crazy until then. We were going to tell our folks on Thanksgiving but now I asked my DH if we could wait until after my appointment on 9/29. I do not know if I am ever going to feel safe enough to tell anyone so maybe I should just do it. What do you guys think? Does anyone else feel this worried even after they hear the heartbeat?

I hope everyone has a great day.

All my prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Nance, I feel your pain!!! My next appt. is not till Nov 29 as well and I am going NUTS! I have had a bit of pink discharge very briefly twice now and I am so worried. I am trying to get through on the OB appt line to see if they will see me since it happend this weekend. But they have two different lines one for women 20+ weeks and one for people less than 20 weeks. :-( It has been busy for an hour solid! :-( I am afraid they won't have any appts left.

You may not be feeling many PG signs but hopefully you haven't been having any scary times :-)

Take care everyone!

Cowgirl - Thank you for your response. It makes me feel better that I am not the only one who is worried. I am sorry for the spotting but I heard that the progesterone suppositories sometimes cause that because they can irritate you. Are you taking them? I hope you get through to your RE's office soon. Let us know as soon as you do. I will say a prayer that everything is ok. I'm sure it will be. I'm hoping the worrying gets better after 12 weeks. We will see.

All my best,

Thank you Nance for the nice words. I was able to schedule an appt. with OB for today. Not sure what they will do but hopefully a scan. I will let you know what I find out. :-)

Well I am back and as I suspected, I am paranoid like most of us. :-) They said what I thought might be the issue. My cervix is irritated by the progesterone. The doc said we had a strong baby, because normally a heartbeat is heard with the doppler about week 12 and she heard it loud and strong. She let me listen to my heartbeat then moved it over to the baby. It was such a good feeling. :-) Its in the 160 bpm range. :-)

Thanks for all thoughts. I have my next appt. on Nov. 29 :-)

Take care everyone,
Cowgirl

Vicky77 - Congratulations on your BFP!!! You must be so excited. Those numbers sound great to me. As long as they double every three days that is a good sign. Good luck tomorrow at your appointment. Let us know how it goes. As for the "Paranoid Mom to Be" I hope it gets better soon but I'm thinking it is going to be a long haul.

All my best.
