Thank you everyone...I am so overwhelmed with everyone's congratulations and well wishes.

Annashope: FINALLY! It is finally my turn too. I really hope that everything goes well this time around. I am praying hard that it does. And, I have peed on 3 sticks today--each one has clearly gotten darker. LOL. Thank you for your kind thoughts. You mean a lot to me.

Mellow: Summer 2010 buddy....wow, have we come a long way from then or what? Thank you for all your support and encouragement...and even opening your doors! You are awesome. Take care of yourself and your little beans...don't "overdo it".

Nicole: Thank you!!

Tammy: Thank you! I could hear your screams from Ohio my friend! Love it. I have been grinning ear to ear all day. As to how I told DH? I'll explain below...nothing as creative as you have done however.

Anton: Yes, I am sorry YOU were absolutely correct. :D And thank you for the hugs from Cyprus!! Babies for everyone soon--good luck with ER tomorrow! Can't wait to hear how many they get.

Lou: Thank you...and I am definitely calling in the morning...but with them being in CA I probably won't be able to get an order faxed over until the afternoon...and we know how my labs are here!! If they want to see a woman go pyscho...try not getting back to me with my beta!!!! All will be well--I will get my first level tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

Amanda/klinger: Thank you!!

Lauren: Thanks and yes, it is exciting for all of us...it has been a long time coming for me, and others will be right behind me!!

Leora: Thank you....but, sorry, I cannot wait. I know that betas aren't the end all be all, but after my last bout with beta hell, it would be very encouraging to see some #s. Sorry the first day wasn't so great at the new job. Hoping it improves.
And, I am excited for your u/s. I will be praying for 2 strong heartbeats for you.

Ester: Thank you. You are so sweet. I will hopefully be enjoying this pregnancy for a full 9 months...I see you are getting ready to start Lupron soon...I will be stalking you for your BFP!!! Can't wait to celebrate it with you.

nwquiz: Thank you...I can't even believe it myself. Your time will come soon as well.

Greekchick: Thank you and good luck tomorrow for SnS appt!

Carol: Thank you! Definitely a good one for us "over 40s for sure" I will be waiting for you (and Tammy) to soon join me!!! What was your E2 level at trigger? I am still worried about you with the fluid and weight gain--please be carefully monitored. And yes, not too many women with multiples over 40...did I ever send you the link to that study? It basically says that over 42 you should not worry about "too many" follies because it will only increase your chances of pregnancy and not really of multiples for IUIs. "For patients age 35 and older, pregnancy rates in HMG and clomiphene + HMG cycles were doubled when six or more follicles were > or = 12mm without a significant increase in twin or higher order implantations." Even with IVF it is very rare to get multiples over age 42 with your own eggs. I am hoping that you get to feeling better very soon--please keep us posted and take care of yourself as you are Image

Rio: Couldn't be here without your support my dear friend. Thanks for all my blinkies...but, more importantly, thank you for all the support over the past months. You have never wavered in your "Operation Let's Get Margi A Baby"...even when I did. You are wonderful and I can't thank you enough.

Ashley: Thank you...it is amazing how close we all become and how we really "feel" each other's highs and lows. I am so happy to be contributing to a "high".

Ryann: Don't even say that out loud!!! LOL. :D My DH has been calculating odds (he is a risk analyst for a bank so that is what he does for a living). He keeps saying we probably have a few in there...I keep reminding him that these are 43 yr old blasts/morulas even if they did look perfect. We shall see in a couple weeks....after all that I have been through I will be perfectly happy with one healthy bean. But will accept whatever!!

Sunshine: Thank you! How am I feeling? Unreal...tired...really excited, but also nervous. That's an adorable idea! But I think DH would be too embarrassed at the office..

Kynlee: Yippee for triggering!! You are a step closer to your BFP!! Thank you for your congratulations!!

Katie: Thank you!! Yup..I did it...got my Cali baby(ies). Thank you...will do my best to keep up the PMA and nurture my bean inside.

AFM: I am totally overwhelmed with everyone's sweet congratulations. Makes me teary after all that so many of us have been through. For those that asked, I am 11 dpo today (6dp5dt). We transferred 3 beautiful blasts and 2 morulas that were about 12 hours behind being blasts. At my age, it isn't as crazy as it would be for one of your younger ladies to transfer so many. How did I tell DH? Well, I am not as creative as some, but I got a card saying Congratulations on your big day....this and your fabulous news....and I crossed off the "y" to make it "our". The card also sang the Kool and the Gang's "Celebration" when you opened it. I simply wrote, "We did it. I love you." The "yes" pee stick was inside. He was near tears. He said I totally surprised him with the card.

I am a bit crampy today...but that is not unusual, right you preggo ladies?

I will be calling the office in the morning (or maybe send an email to the nurse now!) to beg for a beta either tomorrow or Tuesday and then repeat 2 days later instead of waiting for Thursday. I really need the reassurance.

BABY DUST TO ALL YOU LADIES. I don't know what I would do without this board...honestly, I think I would have given up after my miscarriage last summer. I was so devastated and without the encouragement and understanding words of so many of you I don't think I would have been able to move ahead and be where I am today. I am so grateful and humble. Thank you all.

Margi we will be anxiously awaiting you beta!

Yes - I read that study before, which is why I wasn't too concerned about it. But they did not do an estradiol level the day of trigger. I guess not required with IUI? They were just going by the size of the follies that they could find on the right. The severe sharp pain has subsided, but I am still carrying a few pounds of water weight and I am so bloated it hurts to eat. Nurse said it may not get any better until AF arrives and if I get pregnant it may get worse, so they want to keep a close eye on me. Its crazy because she told me on the phone yesterday "Yeah..I thought you would be a prime candidate for the ohss, but I didn't want to say anything to scare you." Seriously? Don't you think that is something they should warn me about? I'm willing to accept it if it gets me pregnant... hell I'll spend the next 8 months in bed if it works, but I hope I don't go through this for nothing. They told me if the sharp pains come back, i gain more weight or I find it hard to breathe to call them or go to the hospital. They had one patient that had to have her one and only ovary removed as a result of ohss. Geezz..

Carol: Are you serious? They didn't check your E2 level? I always got checked--every time I went for a SnS appt for my IUIs...and I didn't even think my clinic was competent in lots of other ways. Especially with you on injectibles....that is really irksome. And not to tell you so as not to worry you? Ridiculous! Sorry...I am just mad at them. They could have triggered you with Lupron or something instead of HCG to minimize your chances of OHSS. I had a very severe case of it my first go round with IVF. PM me if you have specific questions. And drink--no guzzle--that nasty Gatorade. (I only say nasty because after drinking it for months I developed an aversion to it). Although, I am drinking some now. I think I am in the OHSS "clear" but now that I am pregnant I want to make sure I don't get it...like poor Rio.

Leora: I can't tell you how exciting it is to see my name under the "knocked up" section. Wow. I really am. :D

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is doing great today! :D Image

I had my ER this morning and everything went great!! Yeay! :D :D they took 15 perfect eggs and now we are waiting for fert report on wednesday!! So things are looking good! My RE was very pleased! :D :D This is my #5 IVF and I've NEVER had a pain in my abdominal when I woke up! NEVER! today I had and I still do! :( I cann't walk without any pain :( My RE told me this is very normal and it will pass I shouldn't be worry. Same thing my nurse told me and told me that if I need anything just give her a call. Just before given the anesthesia for ER she wished me good luck and wished to be pregnant this time and that our babies will play at the park together. That was so sweet of her! I hugged her and said thank you and goodnight! :D My RE gave me a list of six different drugs to be taken until my Beta day. In my all my previous cycles I took only Cyclogest 400mg (Progesteron pessaries for vaginal use, Medrol 32mg (Cortizon) and Clexane shots (enoxoparin sodium- antithrombosis) Now he prescribe me of the following:
1) Cyclogest 400mg (progesterone) I will take 1 tonight and as of tomorrow 3 per day (morning, night, evening)
2) Zinnat 500mg (antibiotic for infection...) to be taken every 12hrs x2 for 4 days starting today
3) Buscopan 10mg (Pain killers) to be taken morning/noon/night x2 for 4 days starting today
4) Corotrope 5 5mg (Glucocorticoid) to be taken every 12hrs x2 for 4 days starting today
5) Clexane 20mg (antithromposis) 1 every day until Beta day starting Wednesday
6) Evorel 50 3.2mg (estradiol patches) starting Wednesday to put 2 every 48hrs until beta day

Have you ladies been taking the same as the above? They sound like a lot of drugs to me! Not that I am complaining! I will take whatever it takes! That's for sure! :D ..If we are doing a 5 day transfer (that is waht we are aiming for) I guess we will know on the way...if we have enough embies and if they make it to day 5 then on Saturday 19th we are having ET!!! yeay!!! Wish me luck!!! :D I am going to crash in my couch again and sleep again... :D

btw story of the day!: Of all the days today, the building next to my clinic was on fire!! there was SO much traffic we thought that there's something going on but we did not think of this! and while we where approaching the street we thought "imagine this is our clinic burning!" there where fire trucks and Fmen everywhere and they blocked the road and entrance of the clinic. so we had to park further away so that we could go. first thing on my mind was damn! they found the day to burn the lab! today that we need it! So we approach the entrance and they wouldn't let us go inside! I was like hey don't mess with a woman on an ER mission!  well we told them it was a MUST to go to the clinic so they let us in. Elevator was not in use due to the fire so we took the stairs...burning smell was all over the place! What a way to start this important day! I will take this as a sign though that we are going to have a fire explosion of super embies!!! :D

Baby dust to us all!!!

I hope my 2ww buddy had a great ER as well today!! :D

Meinemo: Thank you for you thoughtful message. I am super excited!

Greekchick: All is looking excellent! How many days have you been stimming for?

Anton: Yeah! Congratulations!! Now, rest those ovaries....15 eggs is super! Will they call you tomorrow with the fertility report? I am on some different meds this time too...but, like you, if it works, who cares! I am on Claritin (antihistimin), Prometrium orally 2Xday, Estradiol orally 2Xday, baby aspirin, and Crinone. I also was taking Medrol, Anaprox, and Zpac (antibiotic) after ER. DH made me a spread sheet so I could keep it all straight at first! LOL. These are a lot more than my previous cycles, but as you said-as long as it works is what matters. That is crazy about the fire....it really is "always" something with TTC....the barriers that we break! :DImage

Duh! I forgot to add my own update...

As Nicole had asked, my Re approved for me to get beta tomorrow and then repeated on Thursday. The nurse reminded me that it was "early" so not to expect a high level, but 13dpo isn't really that early in my opinion. So we shall see...I am excited and nervous. Surely since I got a positive HPT at 11dpo, my beta at 13dpo should be ok...I will check it against the charts to see once I know a number...I have been through miserable Beta Hell once before, so that is why I worry. But no worries!!! This time all will be awesome!! Great healthy bean, growing strong!!!!!

And, for the Image

My pee stick looked way darker even last night, but definitely this morning.

Super quick post

Anton - wow that is just wonderful news! I was on estradiol pills, antibiotics and progesterone. I was very sore after all of my ERs so that is normal, enjoy not being PUPO yet because you can take some good painkillers! I am so excited this is it my friend, I got my early b-day gift from Margi and now I am getting one from you too! Praying for awesome fert, can't wait!

Margi - super normal to have cramping, I had some and also don't forget that you are swollen so some times even food moving through your intestines will hurt you and feel like some cramps. 13dpo is great, I think that's hen I got mine too! Lucky 13!!!

more later!

Anton.. what a great number of follies! YAY.. you are certain to have some good little embies out of those!

Margi.. YAY on the beta tomorrow... and I agree, if your test is dark now, then you will definitely get a good beta result.

So claritin is okay to take? I am desperate for some allergy relief. I had heard antihistimines were good to help implant so as to keep the embie from being rejected.. is that true? But I would just love it to stop sneezing and snorting! LOL
