WE- WOOHOO on the number going up!!!!

Anton- Really glad to hear from you. I was thinking of you this past weekend at work. Who knows maybe adoption can be an option? I would love to adopt but over here in the states it price is out rageous.. DHR don't have babies just older kids. I know they need a home too, but since we have never had a baby we want to start out out with a baby.

Leora- I wish I knew how to do blinkies but I don't :( but reguardless YaY for a wonderful transfer!!!!!

AFM; My clinic called today and offered us an appt. for Monday Nov 21st!! Which is very exciting maybe my Re will let us do the cycle in Dec without paying them til we get our income tax. Its not like we haven't been with them for over 2yrs. they all know we work for the hospital. I was asleep today when they called bc I am on a 3rd shift schedule. I will call them back tomorrow. Are there any twilight fans?? I am dying to see Breaking Dawn at midnight Thursday night. Every place is booked out but my cousin got us tickets YAY one hour from us!!! I am doing okay. Some days are good some days are bad.

Kerri - welcome back! I've done Orgalutran and Menopur (although, not the estrogen priming part) and it's worked great. It's hard when you are used to one type and then they change it. Good luck.

Rosie - I hope those pee sticks are just getting better and better! (btw, where did you find a FRER in Israel? I've never seen them! I order the internet cheapie ones - I get the 10miu ones which are really great.)

Christy - can we get a video of you dancing around with your labs over Rosie's good news? I'd love to see that! --- Like you, I've been through so many tests and can't find anything wrong. Ugh. I almost wish they would find the problem, so that we could fix it, or at least know that it was hopeless...

Julia - again, I'm so sorry about the BFN. People always compare it to a month of TTC and getting BFN, but it's really not the same at all. So much more effort goes it, so much more is riding on that BFP - and you know exactly what embryos didn't make it --- it's so hard. I'm so sorry about your mom. That must be so hard too.

Jayne - that's a ton of work! Are you a nurse? If not, what do you do? 26 hours in 2 days sounds nuts!

Becca - oh no! I'm so sorry.

Blue eyed - I'm so sorry you had to go through a D&C. I did one with my miscarriage -- it was actually in the same hospital, in the same out-patient procedure room where my embryo had been transferred just a few weeks early. So hard to go into the hospital to have a baby put inside, and then go back to have them remove the baby(ies). Big hugs - I'm so so so sorry.

Kala - sorry you will miss Xmas with your family. I live in Israel - and there is almost no Christmas at all. Granted, I'm Jewish and never celebrated, but in America - Christmas is everywhere! I love carols and here there aren't any on the radio. I actually download some onto my iPod to 'get in the holiday cheer' :D (don't tell my rabbi!)

Ninde - GAH! I hate when I lose everything I've written. I copy all the text before I hit submit. This website is fantastic in terms of love and moral support -- but awful in terms of technical support! The blood tests I'm recommending are basic FSH/LH/Progesterone tests to check where in your cycle you are. If all the hormones are super low, it means you didn't ovulate and you won't anytime soon (anovulatory cycle - common after a missed miscarriage) and the doctors can give you progesterone (Provera) to stimulate a false AF.

Jen -Seeing a heartbeat is fantastic. I hope you get your miracle. Did they test your beta numbers again?

Amanda - sorry about AF. Somehow, getting AF always makes me feel awful, even if I already knew it was BFN. Seems like the final nail in the coffin. Big hugs -- I hope you can try again in December! I hate Twilight, but enjoy the movie!

Smoon, Margi, Barbara, Amanda and all my other cheerleaders - thanks for crashing! I know y'all are stalking and I hope to give you a BFP next week!

Maria - big big hugs

Antonia - we missed you, but completely understand why you need to take a break from us! Adoption is free here too if you go through the government (we are trying but there is a 7 year wait!). I hope you find a way to build your family that makes both you and DH happy.

kerpupples - enjoy your BCP! just remember - it's for a good cause!

Neffi - I'm totally a POAS addict! I'll probably start at 5dp5dt (when I got my first BFP last time, but only in the evening). I hate seeing the BFNs, but I want to know ASAP! I'm going to try to hold out, but I may take a test earlier. I have a package of 50.... hopefully that'll be enough! I also examine them under every light - and then take a photo and play with it on the computer. I'm a nut :D

Blessed - that sounds like a good number - seems to have almost doubled in 2 days - which is great. What did the doctor/nurse say?

Laura - I hated needles too before we started this. It gets better, I promise! Good luck at the baseline!

Lydia - I told David that with our freaking luck - we'll transfer one embryo and get identical twins - just to freak us out. Hopefully not -- I'm hoping for one super sticky baby!

Bodie - the vast majority of twin mommas carry their babies safely to 35 weeks or so, I'm sure you'll be fine. Sorry that my story scares you, but it's super abnormal!

AFM - back at work. I'm not a big believer in bed rest (but I totally understand why people do it). This is the last workday before the weekend (Fri-Sat weekends here), and most of the office is out on the office trip to Eilat, so it's super quiet.

I'm feeling good. I don't know why, but just knowing the transfer went off without a hitch is relieving so much of my stress. Is that weird? I was more stressed out BEFORE the 2ww.....

I'm trying to fast forward to Tuesday (realistically, Monday) when I start POAS. I'm sooooo hoping for that BFP. I'm going to be so crushed if this didn't work.

(hmm... can't get my blinkies to work....)

Leora-I do everything at my clinic. My d&c was on the same table as my egg retrieval, same staff, etc. it's getting harder and harder to go in that office.

Not much to say now. Going back to work tomorrow.

Thinking of all of you.

Blue eyed - yup. Me too. Retrieval, transfer and then D&C on the same table in the same hospital within 3 months last year. That sucked. Big hugs, honey. Can you switch clinics, just for a change of pace? We keep thinking about that. There is a saying in Hebrew "Change your location, change your luck". We are trying to balance the 'pro' of knowing everyone at our clinic and knowing the system there with the "con" of hating to be back in the place where we've gotten so much bad news...

AFM - I feel like "Schrodinger's cat" -- I'm both pregnant AND not pregnant at the same time. Weird...

I know things can change during an IVF cycle, but is there a time line if things are going well? From start the consultation to the Transfer? Trying to figure out some dates :) Too anxious not to think about it all.

Good Morning Ladies... I just wanted to say thank you for your thoughts and prayers and the fact that there was hope. you all have been the reason I have remained somewhat sane. I am so glad to have this forum and the wonderful women on here. I am so so thankful and happy and blessed that the numbers doubled. I am going to continue to pray that the numbers double again on friday. I really hope that they do. I have been praying and reading the Bible-that helps me. I have been a nervous wreck.... Thank you again! So I ran out of my PIO so I have none for this morning. The nurse said to use a suppo. instead and get back on track tomorrow. I just pray that things will be ok...

leora- Congrats on being PUPO!!!!!!!! Glad that you got back to work, sometimes doing things that take your mind of things helps. The nurse said that it is a positive sign that the numbers have doubled. They are going to watch me and make sure that the numbers continue to double. SO I am going to try to stay positive and continue to pray that the numbers double. Waiting has been such a hard thing to do. It does not help that they call late in the afternoon. I only call about a dozen times a day to see if they got the results :D But they seem to be positive and I need to be! I cant wait to hear your beta numbers.. Thinking of you and pray you get your bfp!

Amanda- Awesome! An earlier appointment is always a good thing :D I hope that they let you cycle and pay later. I watched twilight and loved it! I really want to watch the new one but I dont do well in movie theaters not sure why. I guess that makes me weird hehe....I am praying you have more good days!

rosie- Yay that is awesome! Good luck!

julia- thinking of you!

Im sorry that I am behind on personals. I am thinking of you all and I will catch up. I have been reading on my phone lately. Today is me and DH anniversary. Met him in a bowling alley... hehe.... He was so cute when I met him. Seems just like yesterday hehe... He refuses to allow me to do anything. I have been taking it easy that I am going insane just looking around my house hehe.... I really want to clean but I am still paranoid and I just want to have a healthy pregnancy. I pray that it continues to double in numbers and have a wonderful u/s but I need to take it one step at a time. I never had a beta roller coaster before and it is insane but thanks to you all I know that htere is hope. I am so thankful. I know that I am repeating myself sorry but I am so thankful for you all, my church family, and DH. I just pray that it is HIS will for this pregnancy to continue. I like to say that I am pregnant but have not said it to anyone. I am still on edge. I am running on and on prob. because I got up earlier then I should have hehe... Have a great day.

Blessed- Can't wait to hear your numbers on Friday! I'm sure everything will be okay and your numbers will have gone up like they should!

Happy Anniversary to you and your DH. Funny you mention the bowling Alley.. I didn't met mine there (met him at a party but it was only 5 minutes) but it was his hang out and I stalked him a couple of weekends!

Hey Guys,
The RE has us taking Prednisone (40mg a day up from 20mg a day) due to a elevated cytoklines level in our last blood work. He says this should deal with that but I am reading that prednisone may not be great for pregnancies. Anyone know anything or have any experience with prednisone? We are going for a U/S tomorrow at 4 (this is at 25 days after a 5dt) so I will ask some follow up questions then. Just wondering if you ladies ever heard anything about this?

Amanda, that's great that the doctor is working things out to enable you to cycle in December, I'm so excited for you!

Rosie, I'm working on that video in celebration of our our first good news of the week! Vegas, Blackjack (my labs) and I will have the dance ready by next week if they don't bite off my hands first, but we like to swing dance.

I woke up feeling nausated, should not eat any more canned soup late at night, but my nerves are probably shot since my next door neighbors are moving in 11 days, yes Belles will be moving away and it breaks my heart! Her mom made some crazy decisions, quit her job to go to school full-time and when she applied for unemployment- she was denied. Since they were renting to own, all of that is now out the window. She hopes to find something with less rent close by so she can keep Belles in the same school system. If so it would all work out where she wouldn't be too terribly far from me. This morning I was bailing over how I will miss watching Belles open her gifts early on Christmas morning this year. Last year she waited patiently for me to come over before she started unwrapping them, she deserves a Christmas and I get teary eye thinking about it. I invited them last year to my church for our Christmas Eve program and Belles had on the "Dorothy" red sequin shoes and a beautiful plaid Christmas dress her mom had bought her. That night I felt like I had some family standing right beside me as we sung Christmas carols together. Her mom was surprised that Belles did not tell me they are moving the last time she was over, I know we would of cried together and maybe she that's why she didn't bring it up. More then anything they are my family here, all my relatives lives out of state. It's going to be so hard accepting that they are moving in less then 2 weeks!

Blessed - Happy anniversary! That is so cute that you guys met at a bowling alley :) Thinking of you every day hoping the numbers go UP UP UP!

Gina - For me the time from baseline ultrasound to egg retrieval has ranged from 13 days to 16 days and then transfer has been either 3 or 5 days after retrieval. Hope that helps a little. If you are on Lupron before starting stims, that would add about an additional week preceding the baseline ultrasound.

Leora - Hopefully it will be a totally moot point after this transfer, but if you are looking to change clinics (you know, like maybe at some point in the distant future after this cycle is a big success :) ), I think Assuta and Sha'are Tzedek would both be great choices. Assuta is a schlep, but you can always do the monitoring at the kupah. For me, switching clinics was definitely the right choice. I am so excited for you and praying for amazing news this coming week! As for the FRERs, I stocked up at Target when I was in the states - let me know if you want a couple.

Amanda - What a fantastic update! I am so happy for you that your appointment got moved up. Sending lots of good vibes that cycling in December will become a reality.

Ninde - The group sounds very difficult and so so important. You are a very special person for being able to do this…what a huge deal it is. I hope that both your facilitation and the company of one another will help the members of the group to cope and find their own individuals paths to brighter days.

Bodie - Wonderful news! I am so happy you got a great report and I hope the coming weeks will grow less and less stressful as things progress.

LauraN - Yay for baseline! Good luck this cycle - I hope that it will be a great success.

Sunshine - Ahh - the green-nosed, sunglasses-sporting doggie is too cute! I am so sorry to hear about Belles and her mom moving :( I really do hope they will end up close by so you will still have *family* in the area. Keep us posted.

AFM - Still a nervous wreck and getting more and more anxious for beta, but I think things are headed in the right direction. I am still so scared…I have been feeling myself become more and more emotionally invested and I am terrified of losing it. I have been a POAS monster since it's the only form of reassurance I have that things are progressing in the absence of betas. Here is what has been going on over the last 3 days:

Amanda- That's great your RE is doing that!!

Sunshine- LOL at Raggedy Anne gone wild! I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor moving so soon! Glad she won't be too far away at least! :) I hope things will look up for them and she'll find a job soon and a place that isn't too expensive, esp with Christmas SO close!!

Rosie- That does help, thank you!! What a dark line that has become!! :D
