Karen - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Sorry I missed it... being up with the babies all night lately has me not knowing what day it is from one day to the next. lol Even in my sleepless glory I am so in love with them so it doesn't matter. I look at their little faces and all is well, doesn't matter if I haven't slept, eaten or taken a shower. I have no doubt that in 9 months that you will know exactly what I am talking about. Just think, you are already pregnant! Not just in a PMA type of way, but because this WILL work, technically, right now, you are pregnant. lol I can't wait to hear your numbers after tomorrow's PGD! I am guessing they won't put more than 2 in considering how well you did last time with the implantation? I know you will have two beautifully healthy and happy embies snuggling into your uterus on Monday, protected by that bionic cervix of yours! There is just no stopping you this time girl! Just take my (and your own) advice and rest, rest, rest for at least the first three days, take it easy the whole 2ww and keep up with the meditation and acupuncture! It did wonders for you last time. :) Lots of love and baby dust. I am so much in your corner here that I feel like I am taking up the whole room. lol

Katie - I am sure that the whole, "He looks like you." isn't over! Andrew even gets it with Alex. Even his own friends and family are pretty amazed out how she happens to look like him in a lot of ways. Since her hair isn't blonde anymore, he doesn't get it as often as he always use to though. Either way, with Ryan... looks or not, you will be amazed at how much does NOT come from genetics. Alex is so much like Andrew that it even amazes me and he only came into her life at 5 years! You will find yourself saying things as he grows up... You have my temper or You act just like your dad. And those things are the things that make a person who they are. Genetics is really just a small part. As for Andrew's temper... PTSD has nothing but net on that one. He admitted though that he needs to leave work at the door. He walks in the door all mad from whatever happened or didn't happen at work that day and takes it out on all of us. Basically, he has to be aware of his actions at all times now and he knows that. So hopefully he stays aware. He has been doing well the past souple days and I am hoping he keeps it up, for everyone's sake. You can post your staple pic, just post the direct link and make sure you put a message in bold right above it on what it is. lol Poor Gi didn't read my post before clicking and got a heck of a surprise. Or you can just send it privately to those who might want to see? You know you can send it to me... I wouldn't mind comparing. lol Did you measure yours too? It shrinks along with your belly as it goes down. I think mine now is about 5 inches maybe? Oh the fluid build up... I was surprised how fast that suddenly went away. It was there, I was swollen worse than before delivery and all of a sudden one day it was gone and I could see the veins in my feet again. lol What I couldn't stand was the gas! I had so much air in my belly that you could see the bubbles moving and it was like they left a baby in there. The bubbles felt like movement (inside and out) and looked like movement. Thankfully that was gone soon after I came home. As for Rizzo... she isn't a toy dog. She is a lap dog true and true. She just wants mommy. She will only play with a toy if another dog is around and it's their toy. Even then she only plays with it when she thinks no one is looking. lol I just make sure I let her cuddle with me, she still sleeps with us and of course I have to make sure I dedicate lovins to her! :)

Natasha - Sorry you are feeling achy and such... the joys of motherhood right? :) It's amazing how fast it goes away afterwards though. My heatburn/relux was gone immediately! I could finally sleep at night again, though of course not that long. lol I hope your ob orders you an u/s. I guess because of me having twins, I got lucky with that. I always got an u/s plus the regular growth check ups. Measuring your belly tells them how the baby is growing but with two in there they had to do regular scans to make sure since my belly growth couldn't tell them anything on one or the other. Good luck finding a place to go for your 3d/4d u/s! Here they are $80-$90 and you get three sessions. If you bring a pregnant friend they discount you even more. Now only a week until your shower! I hope you get tons of good stuff to help you out!

Pa - Wow, you had a little scare there a couple days ago! I am glad it was nothing and everything is ok. I bet it was scary nonetheless. Try to take it easy from now on! lol Glad to hear the nursery is almost settled and you get to go with DH on his trip. I am sure things can wait till you return. Spending quality time before baby is important! It will never be just you two again so make the best of it. Well, of course you will have you and he time after baby but you know what I mean. lol Have a great time and relax! :)

Angela - You will have to let us know if they check you next visit and if any changes are happening. Kind of exciting huh? lol Sorry to hear about your reflux and it making you sick. I never got it bad enough that I had to run to the bathroom. Poor baby mama, you! They say that a high level of estrogen caused really bad heartburn/reflux with in turn MAY cause the baby to have lots of hair. I hope Gabriella doesn't have reflux too though. Gosh it is hard to see your baby in pain. There has been a few times Angelina has projectile vomitted and now just lately Ethan too. I am hoping he isn't getting it too! Please no! lol Well, feel better, you know the drill... relax and take care of you! ;)

Babyluv - You are so much stronger than me. I was using those meds until the refils were gone! lol I didn't have any big bad meds though. Just darvacet which is just a suped up version of tylenol and ibruprophen, which lasted longer than the darvacet. :) Funny enough the darvacet made me sleepy at first in the hospital but before I left and after, it didn't effect me at all. Oh well... so I am glad that you are healing well! I might need to find one of those belly belts just to suck it in... or maybe I will invest in some spanks. lol My stomach is all mush with so much just hanging there. I am glad I didn't get the stretch marks but holy cow! I am lighter than I was before I was pg (still about 10-15 heavier than pre-cycle weight though) but bigger in pant size. I can't wait till I can exercise again. Just another 2 weeks or less. I have an appt on the 22nd and plan to ask if I can start then. I need my abs back! I miss them. I am so glad to hear the girls are doing well and Alex and Scarlett are adjusting well! The girls are so little still! Ethan is such a little chunky butt and Angelina, though still dainty, is catching up fast. I hope those pains ease up on you. I know all too well about those chooting pains. They lessen up, but I still get them even now from time to time. Did you happen to measure your incision? Curious on how much they cut another twin mom. :) Andrew has a 10 second video of my surgery. It was right as Ethan was about to be pulled out but the nurse told him to stop, hence the 10 second video. lol My point is... in the brief video, you can see how big I was cut because it appears to be a pretty big hole they have stretched out. The one doctor was going in to grab him with both hands. lol I guess you'd have to see it to really "get it". Even I had to watch it a few times. Oh! By the way... Amelia and Juliett are gorgeous... not like you didn't already know that! lol Love love love LOVE the pictures! Need more! lol Can't get enough beautiful here! :)

I hope everyone else is doing well!

Katie – Yeah for 5 hours of sleep! Poor Chris was peed on in the face huh? Ryan seems to be testing out everything and everyone … lol. I am not surprised that so many people think Ryan looks like you because you did say the RE said the couple was similar to you and Chris. So now we know he meant more than personality! I agree with Stephanie, over the years some of his personality traits, likes and dislikes; etc will be similar to yours also. I watched this special on t.v. once that looked at children who were adopted by couples and they summarized and said that the children end up on several occasions looking and acting so much like their adopted parents over time! Of course Ryan isn't adopted but you know what I mean.

Natasha – I forgot to tell you that if you are intending on doing a 3D/4D u/s it is best to do it before you hit 30 weeks … well the center that I went to said that the recommendation is between 28 weeks and 34 weeks because the baby still has space to move around and you are able to see her better. By the time I went for mine, I was 31 or 32 weeks and she was already too big and wouldn’t hardly move at all. Not to mention her face was right by the placenta so we couldn’t see her face very well. The owner was very nice and said we could come back as much as we needed at no charge but I was tired of going after two visits so I said thanks but no thanks because I always went after work and by that time I was completely exhausted and just wanted to rest!

PA_FA – Oh, the trip with your DH sounds wonderful! Have fun and try to relax as much as possible!

Stephanie – I will definitely let you know after my appointment if I have started to dilate or not. Yes, I am so excited … I can’t wait to finally meet her! I know I am driving my DH crazy because I keep asking him “when do we get to meet our daughter” lol. He just laughs at me and says soon! Yes, I think you are right about her having hair because during my last complete u/s and 4D u/s both techs said they saw hair.

I am glad that Andrew has had a couple of days where things have calmed down a bit for him. I know he can’t wait until he can get away from that unit he is in now. I keep praying that the recruiter position becomes a reality for him soon. In the meantime, I am glad that he realizes that he can’t take his frustrations out on his family!

AFM – Well, thanks to my DH we got a lot of my work materials out of the house and to the storage unit and before you ladies ask, I didn’t lift a finger … lol. Now, we will just tidy up a bit and throw the rest out with the trash on Tuesday morning. He even had breakfast waiting for me when I finally woke up this morning. So of course I asked him “will you continue to have breakfast waiting for me after I have Gabriella and he said oh no”. I told him he better be kidding and of course her laughed and said you know that I am. Have a great Sunday ladies!

Katie Yeah for getting a good night sleep!!! Too funny little Ryan peeing everywhere poor Chris getting it in the face  Thanks for the advice on the bras i got some tight sports ones so will def. wear them them, why do you need to keep fluids to min?? I think my dogs are preparing us for sleepless nights for some strange reason they are scratchng the doors every night for last wk at around 4am to go out and pee. Ah Gracie sounds just too cute for words i hope my doggies are the same.

Steph hopefully Andrew will snap out of his mood shortly, you need all the help you can get esp. with twins!!! Thanks for asking i feel Great i am getting bit lower back ache and some pressure but nothing major.

PA you were right to go to L&D even if its just to confirm all is ok and put your mind at rest. Enjoy your break.

Angela glad to hear you are taking it easing and shouting the orders to dh...Proper Order  Nearly 35 wks you can do it!!!

Natasha great to hear you are doing well, pity you dont get anymore u/s i think i would crack without them.

babyluv your babies are just toooooo cute for words!! Great to hear they are doing well with their weights but gosh they must be tiny.

Karen been following your cycle and i have everything crossed for you for tomorrow xxx

AFM so due date is Today (ticker is one day behind) so now on offical countdown  guess i am joining the singleton ladies for going late!! Everyone is saying any day now but i aint feeling it i know it can happen but i cant help but feel she is too comfy and as long as she keeps moving around to let me know she is happy i dont mind waiting whats another 10 days when we have waited 8 yrs! I will admit i feel great most of the time if i walk for too long with the dogs i am a bit sluggish and i am getting itchy all over my body again even though still using the Aveeno products. Cant believe it ladies that i made it to 40 wks this is still so surreal!!! If i do go into labour i will get mam to post.

Katie - YAY for five hours!! So needed I'm sure! I look forward to when they both sleep for five hours at a time! YAY Ryan! And I had to smile to myself about people saying Ryan looks like you. We were at our usual breakfast place yesterday and the servers were all cooing over the girls. One of the women said to Alex, "I remember when you were that itty bitty." Darren and I just smiled and laughed when she left. Um...Alex was 18 months old and 26 pounds when we brought him home so no, you do NOT remember him that small!! LOL! It really doesn't matter if he's your biological child or not...you love him no matter what because you're his mom and he's your son. Period. As far as my pain meds, I had enough to last a week or two, but I didn't feel they were doing a whole lot. I hate taking meds anyway, especially when there's no point. Extra Strength Tylenol seems to work better than anything else most of the time for me...weird.

Gi - Oh my goodness, you are 40 weeks already!!! I cannot BELIEVE you are another one who will be overdue!! I can't wait to hear your news! I'm not sure what Katie was referring to with the bras, but I'm guessing to dry up your milk? I have to wear looser fitting bras and drink a ton of water to build up my milk supply, so you would need to do the opposite to dry up yours. I could be TOTALLY off if that's not what you were referring to!

Karen - Oh I cannot WAIT to hear how your transfer goes tomorrow!!! SO excited for you!!! And Happy Birthday!

PA - Wow, ok, no more scares! I think I went to triage three times during my pregnancy, and every time they always told me I did the right thing. Don't ever feel guilty about going! So glad you and baby girl are ok. Have fun on your trip with DH!

Steph - Yes, the girls are so little and soooo light! I think that's one reason the tandum nursing has gotten easier (that and they both latch right away now). They are like little dolls to pick up. I thought we would freak out at their size, but surprisingly they look great. I think it's because they were both 18 inches, so it's not like they look uber skinny...just like small babies. I haven't measured my incision yet, but I think it's 6-7 inches right now. The steri strips came off in the shower last night and the incision looks pretty good. There are a couple of spots that look a little pulled apart, but no bleeding, just a little red. I have an OB appt tomorrow so I'll what he says. The belly band really helps. I def still have some saggy skin, which sags more if I don't wear the band for awhile, but stays tight for a bit after I do wear it. I wore a pre-pregnancy dress to church today (with spanx) and felt ALMOST normal. Still have about 18 pounds to go, but I know it will take while. I'm also looking foward to working out again!

Angela - Glad DH is waiting on you and giving you breakfast! You are so super close!

AFM - Things are still going well over here. I feel like my right nipple is going to fall off sometimes because that's "Juliette's" side. She's my vigorous sucker. She finishes nursing faster than Amelia, but at least Amelia is more gentle! Oh well, it has to toughen up at some point, right? I usually don't nurse overnight, and this morning it felt like my boobs were up to my chin! I'm definitely having to sleep in a bra now with nursing pads because I've started leaking. I guess that's a good sign. I'm hoping to keep up with the nursing/pumping until they are 2 months, and go longer if I can. And if I can't...oh well! I'm just taking it day by day. As long as they are growing and healthy, that's all that matters.

I took Scarlett for pedicures and shopping yesterday. It was nice to get away for awhile and spend some time with my oldest girl. And get a pedicure :D We took the babies to church this morning and I made sure to keep a blanket over them so people wouldn't touch them. For the most part everyone was great, but one friend let her her 5 and 4 year old girls get just a wee bit too close for my taste. They weren't touching them, but they were peering awfully close. I kept trying to leave, but the mom kept talking and just kept saying how much her daughters loved babies. Ok, great...don't let them get too close to mine! Not like it really matters. My own 3 year old just coughed on the girls about 5 min ago, so if they are going to catch something, it will probably be from my kids. We make sure the kids wash their hands before touching them, but we're realistic...they are going to bring stuff home. I think it's been really good for us to get out of the house as it's helped return things to a certain "normal." Darren goes back to work tomorrow so I hope the big kids do OK without as much attention. Thankfully I still have my mom here and my dad isn't going home until Saturday, so I still have the help. I don't need it so much for the babies, but with the big kids. Just having someone take the to school, get up with them in the morning and get them breakfast, etc has made life so much easier. I think I would be totally overwhelmed right now if I had to take care of all four kids on my own.

Babyluv - I hope the transition goes well once Darren goes to work and your parents go home. You are so lucky to have all that support! I wish my mom were here! I like to think that when the twins are looking off just past my head and smiling that maybe they are smiling at her. :) You seem to be just perfect at doing everything that I am sure that when you have it all to do on your own, you will be perfect at it as well. Just make sure you rest whenever you get the chance. I am sure you have been already. It's a fast lesson once you have babies.

Gi - So glad you are feeling well and on your due date no less! Wow, what is it with these babies all wanting to hang in there forever? I think maybe it is because we are all such good mom's that they are just too comfy in there. lol So here we go... another late one. I hope to hear from mam soon telling us that you have gone to have Kayla! I get so excited the closer you get. Come on little girl, we are all waiting!

Angela - Gabriella has hair! How cute that they could see that on the u/s! I never even thought about that being a part of something that was visible. So interesting! So you never got even one good picture huh? Well you will have many great pictures here soon! lol

Katie - I forgot to comment on Ryan's rainbows. lol I thought it funny how often he goes in the air and how Chris got shot right in the face. Seems Ryan's little ornery behavior in the whomb might be showing itself outside as well? Ethan has sprayed a few times but the only rainbow he ever made went straight in his face!! Oh boy did he cry, but we couldn't help but laugh. The few other times he peed with the diaper off is when his legs were being held up to wipe his toosh so his little weewee was hitting his belly and is just ran down his sides. I do my best to try to avoid the possible rainbows. lol

AFM - I thought I would mention how things are going healing wise. I finally stopped bleeding a few days ago. The amount of blood that comes out is nothing compared to a vaginal birth but it sure does last just as long. lol I am feeling normal for the most part. All that effects me now is just a few shooting pains here and there, some back pain and the lack of being able to do much because I don't have the muscles anymore. I can't wait to workout again. I want to lose the rest of my pre-cycle wait and then another 30 before I am exactly where I would like to be. Unfortunately my body is never going to be the same. lol I will need a heck of a lot of surgery to put everything back where it's suppose to be. My poor boobs look like deflated balloons and my stomach looks like a few layers of marshmellow fluff. Losing the weight is the most important though since bras and spanks can do wonders. lol Maybe someday I will get up the nerve to go through surgery again. Who knows. In the meantime I am just happy with my two little miracles. :)

Angela - I hope that you had a very restful, relaxing weekend -hint hint lol. Cant wait to her how your appts go this week and hear how little Gabriella is doing which is hopefully not a thing, just growing and staying right where she is for a while longer.- xoxo

Karen - Happy late Birthday! Turning 40 is a milestone birthday - but it didnt make me happy to say "40" either. So your transfer is tomorrow then? I wish you all the stickiest thoughts for your little embies and I think this is the one for you! Rest up honey and let those little ones snuggle right in - xoxo

PA - Oh, I did see the "pee pee teepee" at BRU the last time we were there, but somehow it didnt make it into the cart - haha probably because it was the day we found out he was a boy instead and were still half in shock. I do keep a stack of washcloths on the changing table to make sure that I dont get peed on, but damn if I ever remember to use them! Dont you worry, when your little girl is like 6-7 months old and kicking her legs like crazy you can bet that she'll manage a shot or two to daddy's privates when he has her on his lap! What? if he thinks its funny when she kicks you too hard, then revenge is sweet - lol.

Steph - Rainbows, huh? Thats a really nice way to put it, I swear that sometimes he has a look on his face that makes me wonder if its on purpose? baby humor or something? He spends most diaper changes laughing anyway... And he sure was a comedian in the womb.. why change now, right? Speaking of the little guy - he seems to be sleeping so great in his swing, but when you go to put him in his crib? its hit or miss as to whether he'll go to sleep or have a meltdown. Chris set up an ipod in there to try to soothe him into sleeping, but these past 2 nights - its like "no way is anyone gonna sleep but me". I walked past the bedroom and almost couldnt help but flop down on the bed and as soon as I did that - he was up - again. How are you possibly coordinating two babies? Are they on a schedule already? Ugh, so there'll be another 2 weeks of this bleeding then? Ah, I get it - this is the payback for not having a period for 9 months, huh? niiiice. Oh honey, I'm sure that you look like your usual beautiful self. I do hear you on the boobs being lower & flatter though - umm, me too, and its not pretty. Whew, good for you to want to go back to the gym so quick, I'm so past "tired" that I couldnt even think of going to workout yet. Oh, I had Chris measure my incision and he said its 7 inches, but that was today and its now 11 days after delivery so i think its maybe shrinking? I'm healing ok, still stiff when I first get up, but not too bad, now laughing is another matter, everytime I laugh I have to grab a pilow and press it to my abdomen so I dont hurt myself. Thats an easy fix, but I'm so tired that everything & anything is funny to me. Much love to you - xoxoxo

Gi - Umm, yeah, what is it with all the singletons showing up late to the party? Didnt they get the invite? haha. You just take it as easy as you can for your last few days. You'll have Kayla home and in your arms before you know it! I'm sooo excited for you Gina! The nurses told me that if you dont want your milk to come in and get that "engorgement" ( hot, swollen, painful and hard as rocks) that you need to put on a tight but supportive bra as soon as possible
( I waited and wished I didnt) and the fluid restriction will help shut down your milk supply before it has a chance to come in at all. Another thing I didnt do. The tight bra is to restrict swelling after delivery so that you wont have to suffer through the engorgement process. Its taken me 10 days to have my boobs return to normal. ( they felt like 2 large rocks in my bra until yesterday. Stay close to your phone and dont stress too badly, the whole labor contractions arent as bad as some people say it is, thankfully) I cant wait to hear how Kayla came to be into your arms! - xoxxo

Babyluv - wow good for you! I cant imagine feelig anything other than soooo tired like its been for a last few days. To go shopping and for a pedi? sounds wonderful, I'm a bit jealous actually  I think right now I could sleep standing up if I had to. Its hard to heal from a c section when you're taking care of one baby, so how is it going for you with two precious bundles? its fantastic that you've got your parents to help out with Alex & Scarlett, it must take alot of the pressure off of you for now. Good thing that they were able to be there for as long as they have been. Get as much rest as you can twin mama- xoxo

AFM - Ryan (AKA "The little Emporer" as I 've been calling him) has hereby decreed that no one will be getting any kind of sleep anytime soon. This boy just LOVES the middle of the night to have screaming fits that no sothing seem to help, he gets overtired I think? And then its his hands. he hates the newborn mittens but when i dont put them on, he grabs at his face, nose, eyes, cheeks and probably thinks that something is attacking him. As funny as that sounds, it really isnt because because every 2 minutes, his hands have pulled out the pacifier, or grab at the bottle, so its a losing battle around here. He can get out of a swaddle in less than 10 minutes, so thats , ummm, interesting to say the least. And then we're right back to "attack of the hands" sigh. He's eating really good 2 .5 - 3.5 oz each feeding, but I dont see where its going - the boy has like no tushie! When he's up over my shoulder, if you dont hold him super tight, he'll start sliding down in a hearbeat, I'm hoping that he grows one soon  We'll go for his first Peds appt on Wed instead of tues, so I'm looking forward to that - I have LOTS of questions for the poor Dr, haha. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow, if I could stop feelinglike a sleep deprived zombie that is. OK, so one more feeding / changing and maybe I can go to bed? I mean at least for a nap, or what used to be called a dcent nights sleep. I've never been so tired in my life, but I'm so thrilled to have him that i wouldnt change a thing ( ok maybe just sleeping, lol) much love to you all - xoxoxo

Good morning ladies!! I know I have been MIA so I didn't want anyone thinking I had little Flick yet!!!! Things have been sort of crazy since last weekend. Last Sunday night I started to get period like cramps on and off and then Tuesday my lower back was hurting so badly that I had to go to the chiropractor last minute. When I had my OBGYN apt last Wednesday I told them of the symptoms so they put me on the monitor for 20 minutes and confirmed I was having small contractions but no pattern or intensity yet. She also said my cervix was soft and forward so my body was preparing itself! I of course felt totally unprepared to go on maternity leave so all week last week I have been getting everything together at work for when I'm not there. It's so hard because I'm in charge of ALL Youth programming and I have been doing it myself for the past 7 years so it's really hard for me to prepare for other people when I know everything in and out!!!! Then we had my MIL 60th brithday this past weekend so needless to say I have been reading but not posting due to lack of time. I go back on Wednesday but I have this "feeling" that I am going to deliver this week!!!!

Katie-I LOVE hearing the stories about how Gracie and Ryan interact because I'm preparing for Lincoln!!! He totally senses something is going on with me because he won't leave my side and constantly wants to lie on me! What's funnier is that DH has been sleeping in the guest room the past week cause I have been breathing/snoring/peeing so much during the night that he can't sleep and Lincoln has been my bed mate and he wants to spoon me!!!! He is 100 pound lab!!!!! i can't wait to see updated pics of Ryan and hopefully it goes smoothly when Chris goes back to work and you can get a nap in here and there!!!

Babyluv-your girls are gorgeous!!! You seem to be a pro at breast feeding which is causing some anxiety for me! I'm not the most patient person and don't have a high tolerance for pain which are two things that are important to be successful at BF!! Glad to hear the weight is coming off so fast since I'm already up 40 lbs!!! I swear I'm going to weigh more than DH if I don't have this baby soon!!! And I was bummed I didn't get my 11-11 date but the day 11-18 has been in my head for awhile so we will see if that's the day Flick makes his/her appearance!

Steph-I'm glad that Andrew recognizes he needs to leave his work frustrations at the door! Sorry to hear that Angelina has Acid Reflux but it seems you are doing everything to appease her uncomfortableness. I can't wait to see all the pics of the babies that your neighbor took!

Gi-keeping up the tradition of going late?!?!!? I hope I break that tradition since I want Flick to come out today!!!! Will they strip your membrane at your next apt? I think my DR does that if you are close to your due date to help bring on contractions.

PA-where are you and DH going on the flight??? Thanks for the compliments on maternity pics-that was so sweet!!!! My DR also said I wasn't drinking enough water with my cramping so try and take it easy.

Angela-how are you mama? any updates with Gabriella's stomach growing?

Well my fingers are officially hurting me since I think on top of everything I'm getting inflamed joints and carpul tunnel so I will catch up later and keep you all updated of my DR apt on Wednesday!!

love to all the babies:)

Gi - Definately the best birthday present EVER to have her on Wednesday! I will be crossing my fingers and toes for that day! Thank you for the compliment on the twins. Definately worth it alright! :)

Claudia - WOW, Flick could be here this week! I can't wait!! I bet you're nervous and excited all wrapped up in one. I think all of us were/are! So now that things are getting wrapped up at work, there won't be anything to worry about. You are all packed I assume and the nursery is all ready? You never did give me the information on your registry. Maybe you are waiting till after you know if Flick is a boy or a girl? That isn't a bad idea, especially if you would like gender specific things. I know I was all over the registry once I found out the twins' genders. lol Well, this is it Flick... soon enough you will be outside and meeting those gorgeous parents of yours so I can only assume you will be just as gorgeous! I think mom and dad are ready, so come on little angel! :)

Katie - Maybe it is the sitting up position that Ryan likes? If his belly is hurting, maybe the upright position helps it feel better? Maybe try having him sleep in a swing at night in your room? Or maybe a bouncer seat? We got Angelina a bouncer seat that vibrates from walmart for $20. She was fine in it for a little while but definately not to sleep in. So I guess it is a hit or miss. Even though they might not like it much now, I am sure they will love the seat later so I don't see it as much of a waste. The twins aren't really on a true schedule but feeding times tend to be around the same times throughout the day, give or take an hour or two. It is easier to feed one at a time, but more time efficiant to do both at the same time. It's usually their decision on whether they will be fed at the same time or one right before the other. It can be very hard to force feed them, so it's just easier to leave it up to them. :)

AFM - Well, I have come to realize that now that the bleeding has officially stopped... there is still some leakage. *sigh* I think I am leaking urine. How embarrassing?? I am going to talk to the doctor about it on the 22nd because he told me before that there is a program he can refer me to. I believe it is for surgery to tack up my bladder. This isn't just a little oops when I cough or sneeze either. This is a little puddle all of a sudden out of nowhere!! No urge, no nothing just leakage. So depressing, but I guess that is just another one of the "it was worth it" things to add to the list for the twins. lol Hopefully it can get fixed, I would hate to think that this would get worse. I am still young, too young to be wearing diapers by the time I hit my 40's!! Ok, done venting. Have a great day mommies!!

Since I am posting pictures today, I thought I would also post one of Andrew and I just to show you my post baby look. It was taken for Veterans Day. I also am posting a nice swollen pic with the big ole belly taken by the in-laws the day before the twins' birthday for comparrision. I don't think I ever posted a belly pic with my face other than the hospital one. This one was taken after the in-laws were here trying to kill me so I was even more swollen in it. Hmmm... A double chin is ok when you are pregnant, right? lol

GI – So your due date has come and gone already. Ok, Kayla, it is officially time for you to come out and meet your loving parents. I am glad that you are feeling good most days because the further I get in my pregnancy, the more uncomfortable I get too. Nine more days and you will finally meet Kayla … and you are right about waiting so long to meet our babies. I just said the same thing to my DH. We have been waiting 10 years to finally meet her … it is surreal sometimes isn’t it?

Babyluv – I am happy to know you are still getting some help from your parents because I could only imagine that taking care of four kids can be overwhelming! Oh, by the way, when you get a chance take a look at you inbox because I sent you a PM.

Stephanie – I am glad that your healing is going so well and you have lost so much weight already! I just pray that I am that lucky. I have a lot to lose too since I gained almost 20 pounds from the stimming medications. So I will be excited to see how much comes off the weeks following her delivery. Unfortunately, she will be born just as winter begins so no evening walks but I will just have to ride my stationary bike in my enclosed patio room until I can get outside I suppose. I just read your last post and my manager had the same problem after she delivered in April and once her muscle regained strength again the urine leaking stopped. I have been leaking urine since 15 weeks so I will be in the same position as you after delivery I am sure. From what I remember from my OB nursing rotation, they encouraged woman to do Kegel exercises to help strengthen the pelvic muscles for that very thing. If you aren’t familiar with it, just goggle it and you will know exactly what they are. Short and sweet explanation is you act like you are starting and stopping your urine flow … they recommend doing it over the toilet several times a day so you won’t have any accidents, etc.

I love, love the pictures! I loved them so much that I showed my DH each picture! They look so professional … what a skill your neighbor has. The babies look so darn cute! I just keep staring at them, which I am sure you do all day long!

Katie – Yes, yes, yes I had an extremely relaxing weekend! We got a lot accomplished around the house and still have a ways to go but we made so much progress! So you have a night owl huh? Now I am beginning to feel so sorry for my parents because I was just like that when I was kid. I loved being up at night and hated to sleep but of course I wanted to sleep during the day. Of course my daughter will probably take after me … well that has been her sleep wake cycle for the last few months so far. So we will see when she gets here. Ok, so I am going to pray that you get 6 hours of sleep tonight … lol. No seriously I will because I am sure I will need you to return the favor very soon!

Claudia – So you have been having the menstrual cramping too. Mine began last Thursday after Gabriella dropped further down into my uterus. So it is time for you to let go (at work is what I am referring to). I can see why you say it will be hard but you can do it! I just read that you are now experiencing the terrible symptoms of carpal tunnel … I am so sorry because it is simply miserable for me. And, unfortunately it continues to get worse because as our pregnancy progresses we swell even more. But, you should go to a pharmacy and buy some wrist splints for carpal tunnel. You will be surprised how much relief that you will have with them. I normally sleep with mine on but sometimes I need to have them on during the day also if I am hurting!

Karen – I hope your transfer went well today! When you get an opportunity come on here and tell us all about it!

AFM – Well, I had another OB appointment today and guess what? I officially got my induction paperwork today! I just sat there and starred at it for about 5 minutes and just could not believe I have reached this stage!!!!! It is set for Thursday, December 16th at 5pm to start the Cytotec to ripen my cervix and then the Pitocin will be hung at 5am on Friday, December 17th. Oh, and they checked me and I am still closed and firm. She explained to me that menstrual type cramps that I have been experiencing are simply some irritation from her head engaging. She said that it is very normal to start to feel these symptoms around this time frame and she said they will continue to intensify for the duration of the pregnancy. Maybe, Gabriella will decide to come on her own during the next four weeks. I guess I can only hope!

Hi everyone. Gonna do my update and then read what the heck you mommas and mommas to be had been doing!

So been an exciting morning. On the way to transfer my RE himself called to say our embies are such great quality he recommends that we only transfer one. I told him no we wanted two and he said ok we will discuss more when you arrive. So we get there and the embryologist gives us the scoop. We have 4 pgd approved embies. All great quality and two are 6AA (best possible). She called it textbook perfect. I was shocked and happy of course. She said you have an extremely high chance of implantation plus your history of implantation is 100 percent. How she explained it was this...we aren't increasing our overall pregnancy possibility with these grade of embies by transferring two. Just the rate of twins. Which she said would be like 75percent with these embies. So after much agonizing we decided on one. I just accepted I wanted to do all I could to bring home a healthy baby. After getting twins the last time with slightly less quality pgd embies I had this gut feeling we would be ok with one. After dealing with the loss of my twins I just can't put myself or the babies at risk. I know my cervix can handle it. Didnt think I could mentally when I sat there in the real moment being honest with myself. So now I have one perfect little embie making him/herself at home! I feel so happy and positive. Went to acupuncturist right after. Now just resting and catching up. Going to watch a movie and dream of my little buddy settling in. It's so surreal being PUPO again. When I was laying there during transfer I had tears. But I feel fantastic and look forward to just resting!!!!

Karen - So glad you dropped in today! I was JUST thinking about you today wondering how everything went. I was even thinking about messaging you but thought I would look back here one more time. :) I am so happy that not only did you have perfect embies but that you felt confident to put back just one. That is very brave and positive of you! I am sure it was someone hard to let go of the possibility of twins again, but you never know. It might split. :) When will your first beta be? Well, only one thing left for you to do now... rest and tons of PMA. As for me... I am mopping the floors for you mama! ;)

Angela - Oh, I know what kegels are, I use them all the time... not just for bladder stregnth but it helps you reach multiple orgasms when you're intimate. lol I'm just saying. ;) Anyway, I was using them before when I was having issues, but this is worse. I hope it will come back a bit but I don't see it being any better than before. I would much rather get it put back where it belongs then to keep peeing myself. :(

Karen – Thank you so much for the update! I am just so excited for you! And, you had awesome news before your transfer … your embryos sound just perfect. I had the same exact dilemma that you did before my most recent transfer too. During my first transfer, two embryos were transferred and I became pregnant with twins and I think everyone is aware of the result of that pregnancy. So my RE insisted on just transferring only one embryo during this last transfer and he was right … I became pregnant with just one embryo and it can happen to you too! I just wanted to give you some encouragement about your decision!
