Leora, my thoughts and prayers are with those two little ones... they have to make it. It has to be a good sign that they were safe and sound during the bleeding. Seeing blood is such a scary thing, but sometimes can mean something simple - just how our body is reacting. I hope it stops completely and everything still looks good tomorrow.

Leorira- girl am sorry for the worry. its stressful when you see blood but take heart at least the babies are doing okay. so take you bed rest for now.
Anton- i see a day 5 going strong.
Cjinnc- are you still sane my dear? almost time to start peeing on the sticks.
Margi- waiting for that beta number.
All the ladies i left out with personals you are not forgotten. Will catch up after i read all the posts.
AFM- had my wtf appt today. ended up being a whole day thing. long story short we had a good talk with two different doctors. And they agreed they should not let the nurses deal with me no more. so now this coming cycle the doc will do my iui and not a nurse. My protocol will change some coz we are now going to add menopur to the fix. I told her this is my last short come rain or sunshine. DH voiced how expensive and broke this has made us. So the doc walks with us to the finance lady and tells her to make up a payment arrangement for us. special case. Heck i wanted a discount but what can i do.
then one doc decided i should get my cervix dilated and that is what they do. i had to use cytotec to soften my cervix and the cramping is no fun. then now am bleeding. oh well hope all is for a good course. am still scared but ready for my last try which will bring my bfp.

Yay Margi!

Ok.. for anyone who has had OHSS... at what point do you seek medical attention? My abdomen is so bloated I look 6 months pregnant. My blood pressure is going up quite a bit too. I don't want to over-react as I know in most cases they just monitor you, and I really don't want fluid drained. But if I do end up pregnant and this gets worse I'm not sure what I am going to do. Its uncomfortable to sit up, much less lean over, and I feel like I need to lay down and do my computer work. I also have a raging headache but I think its from the blood pressure. Has anyone had treatment for it before? How bad can it get?

CJinNC: OHSS at it's most dangerous can cause organ failure and death. I am not saying you are in that kind of danger, it is rare. However, it wouldn't hurt to call your RE. We pay them plenty of money to do these procedures and make sure we're being adequately cared for. I have not had OHSS, but it is my understanding that if you start having difficulty breathing, you need to seek medical help right away...don't wait to call RE at that point.

Happy St Patty's Day ladies!! Hoping we all have some luck of the Irish :)

Margi - those are awesome #'s - you definitely have a few beans cooking there!!

Leora - that much blood is scary but hang in and try to relax and stay positive! i'm sure they will take good care of you and your babies at the hospital!

Anton - sounds like your embies are continuing to grow nicely and will be ready to go for your 5 day. Rest up and good luck Sat! Your babies will be back with you soon :)

CJinNC - that sounds like it is getting uncomfortable - I agree - you should call your dr

Knlyee - good luck with your transfer tomorrow! you are almost pupo girl!

AFM - Transfer was ok this morning - I did do accupuncture before and after the transfer. I was a bit bummed though because only one of the 3 embryos made it to the transfer :( It was a 5 cell so mediocre quality but hopefully it will continue to split and grow now that it is back in mama!! Been trying to keep positive thoughts all day. Now for the waiting game - beta is 3/28. On a positive note, my husband got a job offer today for a new job - we're really excited about that as it is a great opportunity for him and a significant pay increase.
Me: 34
DH: 35 male factor
2 failed IUI
4 Failed IVF
Egg Donor IVF 11/11 - BFP on HPT 12/4, 1st beta 309 12/7, 2nd beta 642 12/9, 1st US 12/22 - 3 HB!!!

Ryann: I am so excited…but too scared to "move over to the other side" quite yet.

Miamibaby: Thanks for the congratulations and for sharing your numbers for DH. Although today, at 15dpo (10dp5dt) my number is 653 which is quite a bit higher than yours at that same point.

Nwquiz: Glad that you had a long WTF session--you certainly deserve it! Glad that you are getting a payment arrangement, but I agree--a discount would be better.

mom4sure: Thanks for crashing! How sweet of you…thank you!! Good luck with your April cycle. And great PMA!!!

Kynlee: Yipee… tomorrow you will be PUPO!! Are you going to be properly pampered?

Kerri: I did switch to a longer, agonist cycle. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I got the best quality eggs and embies that I have ever had! hoping for the best for you!!

Greekchick: All growing nicely! Probably a few more days until trigger. And yes, DH (hubby) does his thing right before you go OUT for ER. You are doing great.

Anton: Mmmmmm. Lasagna is my favorite dish! I make it with spinach instead of meat (because we are Jewish and keep kosher). Mmmm. Maybe I should make some this weekend in fact! :-) 5 excellent embies!! Wooohoo!! Way to go! I am sure you will have some beautiful blasts on day 5. All is looking terrific!!

Carol: Yes, a little queasiness is starting to set in…thank goodness it is fleeting (at least for now) and I haven't lost my cookies yet. But I am so DARN TIRED. 5dpo…I know…it does drag…hoping that you feel some implantation in next few days, but even if you don't…get those sticks ready because I want to wake up to see your BFP on the board first thing one morning!!

Tiger: So you are starting the pool at $5, eh? Twins...hm.....could be indeed...

Mellow: Me too! I think it is a good strong embie (at least). I will be so very happy to just have one, healthy bean.

Kbillsy: Yeah!! You are PUPO!!! And remember, it only takes one!! Ask Lou!!!! And congrats on the job offer for DH. That is some extra icing on the cake.

Leora: I am hoping and praying that you and your beans are doing ok.

AFM: DH and I are both so excited. We both were worrying it was going to be a drop in number...we have both been made so paranoid after what we have been through. It is hard to believe that all could be well. We are trying though...and today's strong rise helps to reassure.

For those "betting" ladies....just FYI..according to SART website the chances of a 42+yr old having triplets with her own eggs.....is 0%. So I go with Tiger on the twins. Although I am beating some other odds ;-)

Carol: Oh, my. I had OHSS very severe with my first IVF cycle. I know severe cases are rare, but you should nonetheless be extra careful. Are you weighing yourself? Any weight gain of 2+lbs a day is a concern. Are you peeing enough? Guzzling the gatorade? Is it affecting your breathing? I know you don't "want" to be drained, but it really does provide relief when they do it. Please call RE. Hoping you are ok.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I think I will call the doc tomorrow morning as it is Friday and I don't want to worry through the weekend. Going to be and hoping I can get comfortable enough to sleep.

Leora I will be thinking of you tonight as it is almost morning there in Israel. Take care momma and I hope to hear better news soon. {{hugs}}
