LoveBug I remember Corny....isn't that wacky how it disappears. Have you been going over to the thread? Somebody also lost a twin & Tammy got gestational diabetes. Lots to look forward to :?
Bring me luck girl...I need it!! Are you thinking of 3 or 5 days? I think I'm going to do PGD & 5 days. I know it's controversial but at 42 i think it's a good idea for me.
I can't believe it's finally here!
I read about somebody who bought HPT in bulk at Costco and POAS'd everyday after transfer....that way she could compare the lines over time. Hmmmm

Good evening, ladies!!! I missed so much today!!

Rinnie and Love Bug - TRIGGERING!! YAY!! Hope it went well for you both tonight. This is SO exciting!!

SueQ - I know how intimidating and scary it can seem, but this board is truly a great avenue for support, advice and understanding. I agree with ForMaggie on the shots...even though I'm complaining a bit about it to my DH, they're really not too bad! :)

LB - Keep your head up, girl! I've got you in my prayers...

SDTrying - AWESOME FERT REPORT! I am so happy for you! You are a reminder to all of us that are questioning and worrying...even when things seem like they're not going well, there is always the possibility for a brighter tomorrow! Congrats!

All day I have been dying to know how you were all doing...I've been away from a computer since 5:00 this morning, and coming home late tonight and getting caught up on the news has made me excited, emotional and feeling really great about all of our cycles! I also had AP today, my second appointment - VERY relaxing...felt like a new person when I left!

I will be gone for the weekend with no access to the board...I'll have a lot of catching up to do on Sunday! Good luck on the ERs and ET this weekend! Sticky Vibes to all of you wonderful women!

Thanks Ads for the support. I'm so glad you're enjoying the AP...it has made me feel amazing over these last 3 months. I had no idea how theraputic it was.

GL to those in the 2WW.

I started AF last night, so I have a question. I started at 9-ish, do does last night count as day one? It is/was heavy enough of a flow, but it was late in the day... I have to start my BC pills on day 3, so I just wanted to figure out if yestday was day 1 or if today is.

Thanks so much ladies. I am so excited to finally be doing something towards the whole process.

Many clinics also do CD3 BW, if so I would call your clinic just to verify. It seems that the standard I've heard is that if you start full flow after 7pm count the next day as CD1. But again, I would call your clinic to ask.

Yes, I can do my labs on day 2 or 3. I planned on doing them tomorrow, then it'll be day 2 or 3, depending upon when day 1 is counted. I will call them now, I have to schedule my hysteroscopy and DH's SA.

Thanks!

OK, I've had a lot to catch up on as usual, so this will probably be a long post! :D

Kristen: My RE said CD1 is the 1st full day, so that would probably be today. But call your nurse to make sure. All RE's are different!

Ads: Thanks again for the updated list! My dates may change b/c it looks like I may be stimming until end of next week. I will let you know when I find out. I'm glad Ap is helping you. I had thought about it, but money is tight, and it would probably just stress me out more!

LoveBug: Congrats on triggering! Sorry to hear it burns. Is it better now? Good luck with ER!

Rinnie: Congrats to you for triggering, too! Good luck w/your ER tomorrow. And thanks for the encouraging words. I am feeling more positive today.

ForMaggie: Thanks for the uplifting words. I am feeling much better today. I prayed again last night to trust in God's plan for me, and I feel more peaceful today! I'm glad the 2nd shot went well. My DH is the same way. He gets all excited when it's time for my next shot!

LB: Thanks for the positive energy. I feel it today!! Good luck w/your appt.

SD: I said it on the other board, but it requires repeating, Congrats!! 14 is great! :!: And thank you for making me feel better about my follie #!

IrishHope: Thank you, too. I feel better today about my follicle count after reading everyone's posts. How is the Lupron treating you?

Hope everyone else is doing well. Well I have decided that my RE office is trying to drive me insane! The way we get our results is the nurse gets the results and instructions from the Dr, then they record it on a patient response line that we have to call and get. They say to call after 3. Well Tue and Wed it was more like 5 and 5:15 before I had a message. Then last night, when I still didn't have a message at 5:30, I called the answering service and told them to page my nurse that I hadn't gotten a message yet. Then 2 hours later after not hearing, I called again! Finally she called back. Apparently they had someone else record the messages, and she recorded them ALL on the wrong line, so it wasn't just mine! Anyway, my E2 went up to 856 yesterday. So I am still on 450IUs of Gonal-f, so I am having to get MORE, AGAIN! And this stuff is expensive! I had to go back in for the 6th day in a row this morning for BW. I asked the nurse how many days it looked like I had left of taking Gonal-f, she said maybe through the end of next week! That means I will have been taking stims for about 14 days! :!: Did anyone else have to go that long? At this rate, this cycle is going to cost me a fortune, and funds are starting to run low! But I'm keeping the faith that this is going to work out. I know God has his path for me, and I will follow it wherever he leads me!

OK, sorry that was so long. I had a lot to catch up on!

Well, finally got to go back for bw and u/s. They saw two bigger follies on the right. They confused me the way they told me the measurements. They said they were around 16 x 11. What does that mean? Which number do you go by or is it an average of the numbers? Anyway, they also saw some others around 10 X 9. On the left she could only see one bigger one around 8 x 10. She doesn’t think the ones on the left are responding well and we will just eggs off the right. :( Now I just have to wait for the b/w levels. I hope they are good.

SDtrying – Congrats on your 14 embies!!! :D. That is great news.

SueQiwi - Try to calm down and take a deep breath. This is also my first cycle. I found it helpful to get a few smaller bags and organize your drugs. One bag for now, one for stims, one for after ER etc. That way you just have to pull out the bag when it is time for that. Did your doc give you any paperwork that explains about the cycle? I found reading those helped to figure out when things happen. Just ask if you have any questions and I am sure someone knows the answer. Good luck.

Rinnie- Yeah on Triggering!! Good luck on Sat.

Lb- Good luck on your numbers. Sorry you have to go in so much. I wonder why my doctor waits so long between bw and u/s appointments. I am now 8 days on stims and have only been twice since baseline. Hmm, good for my arms but bad on my nerves. I went for a massage yesterday and that seemed to help relax me a little.

Jharris – Glad your numbers went up. Sorry you have to be on the meds longer. Did you ask your doctor is they have any donated meds? That is what I am getting. My doc doesn’t have a line to call. I have to wait for the nurse to call me. The first time it was at 1:30 and the second 5:30. So I have no idea when the will call today. I hope we both get our numbers sooner than later :)

Mztia – most of my family lives in Washington in Sequim. It is up near Port Angeles which is across from Victoria Canada. It doesn’t rain as much in Sequim as other parts of the state because of the mountains. It is just cloudy all the time. :)

ForMaggie My husband gave his first shot yesterday. He had to go work out with weights first to get pumped up. :) When he put the needle in he gave a kinda yelp, let go of the needle and sat back. Luckily the needle stayed in and I grabbed it real quick. He then shot the medicine in. I asked him if he wanted to give my second shot and he was out of the room in no time  LOL. I hope he improves before the PIO shots.

Anyway, I have been feeling really spacy and time just gets away from me. Anyone else feel this way? I hope this gets better soon. Also, everyone talks about how they are bloated, but how much weight have you guys gained? I have gained 8 pounds since baseline. Is that normal? Well, enough worrying for now. I really have to get my work done now. Good luck everyone.

turtle- I wish I could help you understand the way your clinic tells you the follie size but i don't. when are you tentatively set to trigger? If its within the next few days, I bet its the bigger number, if not it might be an average. but i'm just guessing.

Rinnie- Remind me if this is your 1st ER. I can't remember (sorry). I just wanted to make sure you planned to rest the day of and the day after. I really think they should tell everyone to take the day after the ER off work. I was off already, but would have needed to call off if I was scheduled. I still felt druged and crampy. Overall its not bad though. we'll think of you saturday!

Lovebug- Big day tomorrow!!! I'll be thinking of you too for ER.

LB- my clinic pokes me and probes me all the time! its the pits! One of the RE's shook my hand and stuck the probe in me without even introducing himself (sorry TMI)!!! (he's my RE's partner- I think I'll tell on him!)

Ads- thanks for the update- i'm the 12th for ET for sure now

I was just looking at the list, did DNT get FET? Anyone heard anything?

turtle: I was trying to figure out the same thing about the 10x13 etc when she was calling out the numbers for the nurse to write down. I have no clue what they meant either. And I've been spacey too, so I can't even remember now what numbers she threw out 2 days ago. She also said something about a 8 halo, and I remember thinking I should ask what that was, but never did, and am just now remembering! So maybe they should add spacey thoughts as a side effect of stims! Mine results seemed similar to yours. With more follicles on one side than the other. I had 3 on the right, the left had about 5, but they were smaller. I am waiting to hear my E2 levels for today, too. I haven't even thought to ask about donor meds! I need to try that! At lesat with the nurse calling you, you can ask her questions if you have any. By the time I get my message, the office is closed and if it's important, I have to call the answering service to page them! Oh well, at least I'm feeling good today, and not stressing about it like I was yesterday! Let us know when you get those levels! Hopefully both of ours will be higher!

They called early today :) But my numbers are still low!! My E2 was 155 and my LH was 2. The LH went down from 2.7 last time. I asked what my follie numbers were and she told me on the right I have a 14 1/2, 13 1/2 and three around 9.7. So it does look like they average the numbers. On the left she said three less than 9.4. They are keeping me at the same dosage and I don’t go back in until Monday!! Agghh. I hate waiting. This probably means that my ER will be pushed back some. I was set for May 13th – 15th. :(

Jharris - glad I am not the only one spacey. They always give you the sheet to bring back to the front desk when you check out I just totally forgot. I found it when I got back home. I meant to tell the nurse when she called, but forgot again!! I really need to write everything down. I do write the numbers down after u/s. I end up writing them on the last page on my romance book :) That really sucks the way you get your instructions. I hope they call you early for once and they are great number!!

jharris12 That phone in thing sounds awful! My nurses actually call in person, so they're certain you have all the info.
Yep...my drugs are a ton of $ to take so much. You may not have to stim for that long though...once they kick them into gear, they should move along well. I triggered on day 12 last time, but I read that 7-14 days is still ok.
But E2's doing well! yeah!!

kristen good luck on the day 3...hope the numbers are good!

Turtles It's the width x length, then divide by 2. My clinic only gives us the main number. I am so spacey too...my dh just keeps rolling his eyes :) they say pregnant women get like that, so we may be like this for awhile!
I was laughing so hard about your dh & the needle....sounds like a saturday nite live sketch. Good to get him primed for the PIO though :)

SD No it's my 2nd ER, and you're right, I felt like crap the next day..... a lot of cramping. I'm glad it's Sat, so I have no excuses to do anything on Sunday. Luckily my Mom is in Canada, so Mother's Day flowers are enough :)
