Wow this group is growing and its filled with a bunch of great ladies. I am getting excited for all you ladies starting and about to start treatments. My treatment is still 2 months away so I am living vicariously though you ladies . I will be following the thread closely and anxiously waiting for your BFP's.

Anton I followed you on the summer thread (I lurked on these forums for a while but didn't post until I got closer to my treatment date) and I am praying that this is the one for you. I will be getting my treatment done in your home country and am literally counting the days until I fly. I would love to move the date up but because of the cost I need to bank a bit more money.

AFM auntie flow finally showed her face today after I finished my monthly birth control last Sunday, its never this late, normally 2-3 days after finishing BCP, but I have worked crazy hours this week and got very little sleep so I'm sure that played a part in it. I start taking the new month of pills on Monday, then I have one more month after that to take before my treatment starts. Seems like a long ways off but I'm just looking at those two months of pills saying they are my countdown pills. If I go as planned then I will be due for my first beta on Thanksgiving Day. I am happy the holidays are coming and I am ready for some cool weather and snuggling by the fireplace with a movie. I hope everyone is having a good long weekend.

Tamera-I am so happy to hear that things are moving along. I know it seems like a long ways away but it will be here Sion. I have a realy good feeling about this time for you. A thanksgiving BFP. I'm getting nervous about my RE appt on Tuesday. I'm really hoping we get the news we want to hear. I'm DYING to start a new cycle. It's hard to believe I'm 7 weeks post-partum/post-C-section. I will be devastated if my RE insists that we wait 6 months (ie, until January) to start again.

also - WTF is with the 'fake pregnancy announcements' for breast cancer awareness week on Facebook. What the ****?!?! Not only is it incredibly insensitive to those of us who struggle with infertility (and/or infant loss) but also to cancer patients themselves! I have a friend who is battling ovarian cancer right now - she had a chance to do a IVF cycle before chemo so she could freeze some eggs, but still - her chances of having kids after chemo aren't great. Why the **** are they doing something that is insensitive to CANCER PATIENTS? Someone must have been really high or cracked out to think this shit up....

First of all, I want you to stay positive about your appointment. God is with you and you will be able to start for the Fall. I will be praying for you. Now, what the heck is this about fake pregnancy announcements. This makes absolutely no sense and is beyond insensitive. Is there anyone we can write to, email, or call? Please let me know.

thanks for asking, We. we are actually having a pretty good weekend. our inlaws are in town and they are so good with my DS. so we are getting a little breather with 2 more pairs of hands to help out.
my AF seems to have started but its hard to say. spotting for now at least. going back for another beta next thursday. hopefully it will go down.

Leora- arghhh I know what you are talking about with the facebook stupidity with their insenstive comments...

Christy - Sorry that I don't have any answers or suggestions for you on the thyroid thing. But 17 hours after trigger seems early for IUI. I've never done IUI, but my ERs are always 36 hours after trigger.

Tamera - I hope AF made an appearance. The worst is expecting your period so you can start and then it just doesn't show up. UGH. I'm waiting for my post-partum AF and have no idea when that will make an appearance. My treatment is also a few months away - but I'm hoping that all the baby dust here rubs off on me too!

Maria - good luck with getting the RN/BSN - throughout all of this, I've been floundering a bit in my career (which I put on a back-burner so I could be a stay at home mom, what a freaking joke....) and I keep thinking about going into nursing...

Sky - welcome! Isn't it crazy how desperate we are to see our periods when we are waiting to cycle and how much we hate seeing any blood while waiting for a pregnancy test? Lots of docs give antibiotics just preventatively for the egg retrieval. I get mine via IV during the procedure.

Neffi - it really is all worth it? I'm glad you can say so. Everyone tells me that everything I've been through will be worth it when I have that baby to take home with me, but it's nice to hear that you can still say that after IVF/losses... Most people have no idea what I'm going through and have no idea how hard it is.

Jasmin - welcome! I'm so sorry about your BFN. Negative results absolutely suck. We put so much effort into this - I wish everyone would be guaranteed a BFP.... I always take the day off of work when I get a BFN. It's incredibly hard. I hope you are feeling better today.

krrice - YAY! I've been waiting 6 weeks for my RE appt and it's so hard. I'm so glad yours is now 2 weeks sooner! Enjoy your rain - I live in a drought-stricken area and I feel guilty every time I shower or run the washing machine

Cheri - no idea about the AMH (since mine's never been tested - I'm young, PCO and our issue is male factor) but congrats on losing weight!

K8tie - I've done Menopur and never had burning. Maybe try icing before injecting? Congrats on starting your stimming!

Felicia - that's crazy news about your tubes being open! Too bad you still need to do the IVF... I'm also glad to hear your insurance covered some of your costs. I'm completely covered by our national health care system but I understand how much the financial aspect of this sucks!

Anton - well my friend - we are stuck on the same cycle group again hopefully this time we both get our BFPs. Crazy that we cycled together last fall/winter too....

LYD - nice to hear from you. I hope AF makes an appearance and your beta is zero...

AFM - my RE appt got moved from Tuesday to TOMORROW! Yay! Fingers crossed sooooo hard for good news.

Life is so hard and we have nothing but stress and more stress in our future.

I've made a plan with DH -- we'll do our FET and then one more fresh cycle -- if I'm still not pregnant, we'll take a 2 week vacation somewhere in Europe. Of course, I prefer to be pregnant, but it's nice to have something to look forward to!

Job search continues to suck.... I got called to schedule an interview today - fingers crossed again!
