Hang in there Emily Rose. Nothing is written in stone in the IVF world, so you still have that chance. I have even heard that women can get AF and still be pregnant.

Big J - I am not sure if one day will make a difference in testing. You can check with your doctor, but I don't think you have anything to be concerned about here.

Eskavon - Looks like there will be three of us testing around the same time. This is your first time with ICSI - best of luck to you and hopefully three smilies next week! :) :) :)

Susie I can not believe your doctor that is   horrible. I didn't go to mine as I went to work and was on holiday anyway some of the time I was thinking that next time I would ask and kind of just assumed that gps would be ok about this I think you should complain when this is all over I am sure she shouldn't treat you like that :!:

Emily hang on in there

Thanks for all the support re my doctor, she's such a cow.
Emily - hang in there, my first BFP was 5 years ago, and dont remember much of symptoms, but I do remember DH coming home and me crying to him that I thought it was over coz I had bad AF pains they carried on for ages it turned out I had something where my insides from a previous op were scarred and the pain was the tissue stretching. Keep up the PMA.
Mil - Congrats on the BFP move to the pg board and hopefully I'll join you soon! (I'm trying to get some PMA back)

Hi Girlies ...!!!! How are things today ????

No change with me, except I've developed this rather (embarressing ?) complaint - I hope it's not tmi ... since yesterday morning I've had this kind of itching/burning/sore sensation inside one cheek (of bum). This morning I think it's now in vaginal area too (although I could have imagined this).

The pessary leaflet does say known side effects are ".. soreness in your rectum .. ", but of course I'm wondering if I've got an infection. (I've been using the pessaries vaginally right through).

I wondered if anybody else has experienced anything like this ??

Morning girls

Hi Sand, got so carried away on the othet threads and I had logged on to come here, typical

Your poor botty   I am using progesterone vaginally too, and it is not comfortable down there. I wonder if all the "leaking" just makes it a sweaty warm environment (yuk) for things to get sore??? (sorry really TMI   ). Haven't got a rash or anything though. Maybe try some baby botty cream  My pessaries leaflet is in Spanish so I can't decipher the side-effects

I feel so guilty just sitting here on the PC, I haven't had a shower yet  I know I am allowed to rest and do nothing, but that's so hard for me. Luckily dh has the car so I can't go anywhere. Might take one of the greyhounds to the woods later, he is very gentle on the lead and I need some fresh air and it's too cold here to sit outside   Keep wanting to clean things, I guess I am just paranoid about the dog hairs and stuff, normally I don't care about them atall. Must be nesting.

have a bit heavy feeling down below, and the odd twinge. Embies are just 7 days old now I guess the implantation elf could be around couldn't he???

I am going to stop worrying about the test date right now, I mean if it's +ve it will be ventually anyway wont it. They did say I could pee stcik while waiting for the blood (as it takes 2 days) but might need to repeat it if -ve.

mmmmmmmmmm sorry long rambling post, better go and have a shower now after all that pessary talk

Love and kisses

Thanks BigJ .. Are you using Cyclogest ?? The side effects are diarrhoea, soreness in back passage and flatulence. Em, nice.

You'll be right - nice and warm and moist - just the right environment !

Don't feel guilty about relaxing. Zita is very stern about this. Embies will be settling in as we speak, so you make sure your walk is very gentle. Enjoy your time / rest before you start worrying about test day - there's plenty of time for that later....

Em, a shower sounds like a good idea ... think I might try that too ...

Sorry Sand I cant help, maybe you should fone youre clinic and ask?
Big J you should be resting. I'm so soft I daren't even walk to the corner shop.
I feel more positive today, saying that, I feel sick constantly, its not an upset tummy, but doesn't feel like morning sickness either, and I'm so tired. I think its too early to have pg symptoms, so I guess the worry is just taking it out of me.

I might do that Susie ... the faintest hint of blood now and I think it's from behind ..

Sorry you're feeling sicky and tired. I don't know if it's too early for pregnancy symptoms ... You are around day 10 ? That could be just what it is Susie !! Get as much rest as you can handle. It can only do you good !!

Hi girls

Sand I am using Utrogenstan (200mg) progesterone. Thanks for the side-effects, I am very bloated and have diahorrea a bit so that explains that then

I know I must rest, will take a leaf out of your book Susie, I guess you wouldn't have apporved of me walking round Barcelona on Sunday then   we did take it very easy and sit down a lot....

i'll plop on the sofa now then, and go with dh and the doggies when he gets back from work, it's silly for me to go on my own, even just with one, don't know what I was thiking    thanks for keeping me in line

what days does implantation happen??? I am waiting for Zita to arrive, ordered it last week. Is it 5 days???

Are you still singing to embie Sand?? I am kind of scared of making contact in case it becomes too real and then is -ve, God I am such a pessimist. When we were in Barcelona I wanted to talk about the next cycle with george and he just looke at me and said, but you have 3 lovely embryos, let's see what they do first !! he looked so surprised that I didn't feel it would work!! poor George

Well I am a rambling old bat today

Sounds like loads is happening for you all - Sandra, sorry about the "irritation" OMG there's always something isn't there?

Big J - Implantation Imp is doing his stuff don't you worry about a thing. I believe it occurs between days 3-5!!!!

I hope that everyone is ok.

BigJ ... You ARE being sensible waiting for dh to cme home before walking doggies. Good girl.

Zita says "An embryo reaches the balstocyst stage five days after fertilization and starts to break out of its outer shell during he following 48 hours. Only then can it implant. How soon ths happens after transfer depends on the stage of the embryo".

I haven't been singing to baby em for a good few days now. If she's still there, she's resting quietly.

Yeah .. Poor George. You must have knocked him sideways ! He's there thinking he's putting back 3 beauts, and you're on about next time ! Poor chap !

I'm taking progesterone injections instead of the suppositories. So far no negative reactions, but just a little tenderness in that area. I really was not up for any more injections!! Starting Estrogen patches on the 19th. I am hoping they do not alter my already "pleasant" personality. :P

One thing I have to say is HOW CAN YOU TELL YOU ARE PREGNANT if all the side effects of progesterone are the same as being pregnant??? Nausea, tiredness, sore breasts, dizziness etc. I have come to the conclusion that you don't really know until you test.
