Hi Girls ,

Count me in!!!!
I started down reg. on Thurs 9th Feb.

This is our 5th attempt at ivf. 2 fresh, 2 frozen, all -tive.We egg shared on our last try and the lady is now pregnant. We will be egg sharing on this try also.

We are at a new hospital with a few new methods and drugs so fingers crossed.

I don't feel anything at the mo. not nervous or excited, just blank really. After so many tries and building myself up to be knocked back down it seems easier to remain neutral.

I haven't been through all the posts but GOOD LUCK EVERYONE xx
I did read someone say, shout out -I will be pregnant !every morning and it made me giggle because I have a note near my meds. saying P.M.A to remind myself.

Not sure of any other dates yet. Keep watching you ladies with hope x

Hey Mbelle1019, how are the injections going? I'm not liking them much, I have to give myself 4 shots/day (2 Follistim/2 Lupron), since the hubby is out of town for the weekend. What day do you go in for your first ultrasound to check for stimming follies? I go in on Friday.

Is your bday Oct 19? That would be funny if so, mine's Oct 17. We have too much in common!

Take care & good luck - Michelle (Shellbell)

Hi Michelle,

My DH is out of town too, and I'm giving myself needles. Though only 1 (soon to be 2) a day...not 4! That's amazing!!! When is hubby back? Are you having any troubles giving yourself the needles? I'm ok with giving it to myself, but I can't get the bloody cap off the syringe without pricking myself.....

I'm just jumping in here cos it looks like I will be a Feb/March buddy too. Started on Lucrin on 3 Feb, and hoping to start FSH tomorrow.

Good luck everyone - I hope we see a lot of BFP's....

Hi Everyone,

Michelle, yes, my birthday is October 17. My sign on is m (michelle), belle for one of my dogs, and then the bday. So, yes, we have much in common.

My hubby or friends generally give me my shots. The lupron does not bother me at all, but the follistem stings like crap going in and I always end up bruising afterwards. I go in for my first blood test on Tuesday, not sure when the first ultrasound will be???

How often do you go in for them to check your bloodwork and for ultrasounds. I swear, last time, it seemed as if I was going in every other day.

Leann, I know it can be difficult, but stay positive. God has a plan for you ; ) and for all of us.

Good night
Michelle

Hi Bella, yeah I give them to myself but don't really like it. My DH is back as of tonight, but I'll still have to give myself the morning shots each day since he leaves for work before I even get out of bed in the morning! I must not be doing a very good job though because with every other shot I end up with a bruise! I can't imagine what my stomach is going to look like after a week of this. Good luck with your first FSH shot tomorrow. We're just a day off in our schedules. Please keep me updated with your progress. :)

Michelle, I had my blood test when I went in on Friday before I started the Follistim. I don't go back in until this coming Friday for my first ultrasound, so 5 days after starting the shots. I guess after that I'll go back for monitoring depending on my progress on Friday.

My clinic just called - and she said everything looked OK from my blood test today, but the Doc doesn't want me to start FSH until Friday. It is just so upsetting. I can't stand all this...

Bella, that's a bummer, so sorry to hear that. :( It's frustrating enough that the IVF cycle seems to drag on! Will still look forward to your updates. Take care.

Hi!

How's everyone doing? I've got 3 more sleeps before I test on Thursday and its killing me!! I still have no symptoms apart from very mild cramping first thing in the morning. I do feel good about it and I do repeat to myself that I am pregnant every time a negative thought comes into my head BUT this wait is driving me nuts!!!

Good luck to all the girls testing on the 15th - I want to see lots of BFP!!

Hi everyone!

Kate - it's amazing how slowly the time goes on the 2ww isn't it!!! Keep busy and it'll be Thurs before you know it.
Bella - I know how frustrated you must feel. Keep hanging in there.
Michelle - good luck for your first scan on Fri.
mbelle1019 - godd luck for tomorrow's blood test.
Leanne - welcome. Hope it'll be 5th time lucky for you!
Traci - my lovely DH bought me some fennel tea when I was bloated. Rather an acquired taste though  Well done for all your PMA and hope the bloating goes down soon.
Lisa and Langton - good luck for tomorrow's EC. Hope it all goes well.
Sandra - hoping to hear GOOD news from you on Wednesday!! and from the other girls testing then.
Jamato - hope to see you cycling in March. Sounds like you really deserve to be.
donna99 - enjoy your relaxing time! Sounds like a good idea.

As for me, horrible AF came yesterday  but still trying to cling on to a little bit of hope. Dr has asked me to go in tomorrow - a day early - to test.

Lots of PMA to all those testing soon and good luck to all those cycling!

Eminde - I am still holding out hope for you. Hang in there. There have been alot of surprises on this board. :D :D

Thank you for the fennel tea suggestion. I am not feeling as bad today..just really, really tired. But the sun is finally shining in Munich so I have been out with the dogs, getting fresh air and getting my mind away from the scan for tomorrow.

I hope you have very good news tomorrow. :D :D

Hey girls,

I am back from vacation and am catching up on everyone's news.

Eminde, I am sorry AF came. Good for you in keeping your hopes up!

Caroline, my heart just breaks for you and DH. I hope you guys will keep your dream and look for other ways to become parents. I'll be praying for you!!

Donna, hope your 2ww goes by fast!!

Melissa (Melliot7), are you in the US? Your clinic sounds alot like mine, I am in Texas. We have a pharmacy near the clinic that has everything in stock...it's very convenient.

Good luck to everyone else starting their tmts. Time is flying by - only a couple more weeks til I start new cycle and we get to start FET. :D

Have a great week everyone!!
