I’m off to Egypt Lucy on Thursday, got the cold that is going round now so feel lousy, not perfect timing. Oh well im sure the holiday will be fantastic with or without a cold. I guess that’s good news that you don’t need any tests. Fantastic that you have the go ahead to start in April.

Lola how are the dreaded drugs going? I agree with you about the time going quickly, I thought it would really drag t starting this cycle but I am virtually there now.

Nicky you can join HSA on line at www.hsa.co.uk I’ve applied for a new job in the same company and im going to do what you did and be honest about the IVF, If I get an interview I will do it and then say at the end about the IVF. If I don’t get it I don’t get it but at least I have been honest, the boss is a man though so might not go too well. Hope you enjoy your Sunday sorting out. I have been to Dublin before and had a fantastic time, you will really enjoy it.

Lis I am so so sorry that you didn’t get the news that you wanted, I wish I could say something that could make it all better. I know a few people on the boards have got similar problems and hopefully they can help you a bit. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Life can be such a *****.

I have just bought a new PC so I feel as if I have spent hours setting everything up (its probably not that long it just feels it!) Wasn't feeling so good yesterday, think I was a bit hung over, so a wasted day of doing nothing. Today will be the same, I just can't be bothered, I have only just got dressed as well. Oh well, its nice to have lazy weekends sometimes isn't it....?????

Nicki - I absolutely love Dublin, lucky you.... Yes sorting the garage and loft aren't exactly exciting jobs, but unfortunately need doing, I cleared my loft a bit ago, and I was amazed at how much junk I'd collected over the years, plus only been in this house 2 years. Anyway have a good day.!

MLG - Hope you've had a rested weekend and recharged your batteries.
Hope the couple of days away was just what you needed...

Bev - I think maybe you do need to go to Kiev then, at least you'll know in your hearts of hearts then which option feels right for you. I know how you must feel about going over on your own, I'd be a bit scared, its not the traveling that would bother me, its just nice to have some morel support there with you and who better than your hubby, if hubby can't go though, then you'll be fine, may be a nerve racking at first, but once your there, you'll be fine. Wow the cost of this seems so expensive I didn't realise how much it would cost you. Keep us posted if you’re going to Spain.

DF and i are going up North to aviemore skiing. I just need a break. i have got to use all my time owing up that i was saving for IVF tmt, but hey! we will sort that out in May. i need a break now. dad is doing fine and Mum and sis can cope for a week..So i hope to catch you all before i go..but if not

Give yourself some time and take care of yourself and dh, There are lots of other options but you've got lots of time to think about those when you've got used to the shock of this latest news. Gail - have a top time in Egypt! I went to Luxor a few years ago and had a fantastic time, the Nile at sunset - Agatha Christie!

I'm whacked, I think someone has sucked out my brain through my ears. I'm blaming the meds but it may be my overactive lazy gene controlling the ship. Also a bit and irritable. I CANNOT WAIT for my holiday, just 5 more days at work. 5 endless scarily busy days!!! Think I'll arrange a bit of mid week pampering as a treat. AF not arrived yet, hurry up, cupcake!

Hi all

Just a quickie to say I am still alive and thanks for all your support -much appreciated. Still feeling pretty low - dh still in quite a bit of pain and has around a 2 inch cut sewn together by 2 stitches on his left b**l. Its also totally black & blue!! and he's on constant painkillers. Julie - was it as bad as that for your dh? He's walking like John Wayne and is sure everyone thinks he's s**t his pants!!

Its crunch time on Wednesday - the consultant will hopefully have the lab results back which will enable him to tell us whether its worth going for a second biopsy - if it is, dh really wants to go for it despite all his pain this time and having to go through with it all again. However the unit likes to take a fresh sample which means it would be on the same day as EC for me and therefore we have to decide in the event of it being negative whether we want donor as back up or whether we would abandon the cycle. If the consultant says its not worth going for the scond biopsy, I think that means we have to got to Glasgow if we want to do donor IUI as the nurse told me they don't do donor iui in Edinburgh - only donor in combo with ivf (which they will only do if dh having biopsy, otherwise they want me to have iui first). When I asked the consultant to confirm this about going to Glasgow for iui he said maybe not. ARGHH!! I'm so confused with so many questions.

I promise I will catch up with you soon on the personals but spending lots of time with dh at mo and not as much time on here - sorry girls. I will be back soon. Julie, Nicki I'm gonna pm you both for some advice.

Went for my FSH testing today, don't get results until tomorrow lunch time though, I'm dreading hearing the number, I hope to god they have come down or even stayed the same.....
