Maria - welcome to the "stragglers". Wishing you all the very best of luck for your Beta.

Angie - I have had no signs of AF. I feel exhausted all the time but don't know whether thats in my head or real. My PMA is flagging, I must admit. Well done you for not buying a pee stick! I have two more left in the drawer and considered doing one this morning but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I can't handle seeing that single line.

Aunty - Ok. Pot. Kettle. Black. But we should stay away from those evil pee sticks. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Lil - I'm going in for my test at 7am (before work) and I should get the results by lunchtime. I'm working with a tyrant of a doctor on friday, so if its not good news, he may cop a tongue-lashing! We are ahead of you so I'll probably know before you even test. I'll be thinking of you, my test-buddy.

I raised with DH what we will do if its a BFN. Do we do another IUI? or bite the bullet and do IVF? DH snapped that we just can't afford IVF right now as you have to outlay $5000 up front (or so our understaning is). I am shattered. I just feel that I will never be a mum. DH and I both earn excellent money but our mortgage and cars (bought before we realised we were in for all this) takes a fair chunk of our income and we just don't have $5000 sitting around. How does everyone else do it?

Em,
I spent almost a year saving a couple hundred out of every check. And as soon as we hit the number I calculated we needed for the drugs. (I had to pay those out of pocket.) Then we went ahead with IVF.

Believe me that year was one of the longest ones ever. But I got my husband to agree that as soon as we raised the money there would be no -- 'We can use that money to pay off 'XXX''

And believe me he would have tried.

I understand about having a good job and still feeling the money crunch when dealing with IVF. I hope things work out.

awww hayley my buddy you wernt hard on me at all i needed that so much i was in such a funk

all i have now are the weirdest pains like AF but not a dull ache that goes out to my ovarys.....and twinges i keep thinking ooo is that my embie growing or is it AF trying to fight the progesterone shots guess i will know really soon now ... deep breath .....ooo cant help it im excited
