Erin,
the next 2 weeks will go fast for you! ( i hope!!) all is good here. It is amazing how once you have your "Plan" in motion things seem a tad better. I have found that all the waiting in beween cycles is the hardest, that is when my brain starts going. but when I am actually doing something to get me towards the BFP I feel better.

Thanks Jemma for the support. I think the 16th would be a great day to start too!!!!! ps. love your name!!!

SO is everyone else checking out every name they see in magazines, tv, movies etc etc!!!!!
crazy!
love bec

Question????
has any one heard of using an antibiotic before going in for Embryo transfer to help their chances of getting pregnant???
tha antibiotic name is Zithromax??

A girlfriend of mine is becoming an egg donor and her clinic is having her take it, as well as the woman that will be using the donor egg????

any insight???

Hi Bec,
my clinic is the opposit they are very strict on what you can and cant take during a cycle, they give me antibiotics to take between EC/ET but are adamant about when to take them. even down to im only allowed Tylenol in between EC/ET for pain relief and not allowed to take any after ET.
i hope they are sucessful what a wonderful thing egg sharing.

as for me still no AF i have pains so think it will be anyday now im up to the point where i think oo that feels like AF so im doing the loo check LOL but im pretty sure it will be here soon... if i havent seen it by 4th i will call my clinic see what they say i think im more worried all the messing last cycle may have caused problems as ive never been this late before

i hope everyone is well...read you soon

Thanks Auntie-
that is what I thought,
my clinic is too very conservative. Nothing for me either other that tylenol. Just curious as to my girlfriends protocol. Ahhhh hope AF comes soon for you too. I think Chinese food helps??? oh wait that is Labor :)

Good morning everyone

managed to get into work half an hour early so i thought i would quickly write some replies...

carolyn - thank you for the welcome. i'm so glad i've got an xfactor lover buddy on here, too! i was so sad when 4sure left! also, how is your acupuncture going? i've enquired about it here and it's about £30-£40 per session. not sure if i can afford it at the moment. how many sessions would i need (per week/month?) becleo, how about you? how are you getting on with it? carolyn, i also wish you and Rachel the best of luck with your cycle!!

Haylie - thanks for a nice welcome, too, and happy birthday for sunday! enjoy!

Aunty, becleo and Angie - you've all put my mind at rest with the AF (or lack of)...what a nightmare they are! if only men had them.... :D Aunty - have you called your clinic yet?? my motto is never ive up hope. miracles do happen!

erin - welcome!! i'm really new here too and i've found this site and especially this thread amazing help! i've already asked loads of "beginners" questions and not once has anyone made me feel silly. so if you have any worries at all, just post it on here! i'm also really pleased for you that your op is much earlier now. the wait for anything is agonising i find so when things get brought forward it's great!! good luck with it.

i got all excited the other day when i read posts by erin and becleo about the talk of the "reading office" as i live in reading! needless to say that i realised they were talking about reading in the us and not the uk! oops!

jemma - welcome and good luck with everything!

speak soon everybody

Shantala you crack me up!!!!
how funny would that have been!!!! If we all were from the same area ...
we could have an IVF bash hehehehe.
I was so glad when I had my first consult and the fact that AF was MIA was never even a worry to my doc. although try to increase calcium because if you are like me you will have a low estrogen and are prone to lack of calcium in your system and it is so important to get enough especially when WE ALL GET PREGNANT! (hehehe scary thought)
the baby will take most of your calcium so try to get oenough...
ok ok enough mothering from me IT IS FRIDAY!!!!
my mom and dad are coming to take DH and me out for a belated Anniversary dinner... looking forward to it!!!!

Carolyn how is it going????
Erin you ever go to the Wakefield Lake????
love to all
Bec

Hi Bec,

I do go occasionally and my RE's office is right around the corner from there. It is nice there. I am curious do you live near the Tewkbury line? I am so happy to have found someone that lives close to me that make it easier for me to see that there are alot of women in my situation. I have your personal email address and I think I am going to use it. I need someone who understands as friends and family just dont seem to truly get it nor are they the most sensitive people. Here is my email as well efederico@comcast.net.

Aunty- Anything from AF yet?

shantala- thanks for the kind words. I have found this thread to be a wonderful place to be already. This has really put me at ease with all that I am going through.

Well like usual I am at work, so I will write more later!

Erin

hi becleo!!

how great would an ivf bash be??? i wonder if the UKers and USers could meet with their babies in the future? after all, by the time we get to that stage we probably know each other better than some of our friends do!!

thanks for the tip in calcium - is that in folic acid as i need to start taking that, too? and congrats on wedding anniversary...hope you're going somewhere nice. if the in-laws are paying make sure you have something really, really nice! (and therefore expensive!)

Erin - I share your pain of being at work... keep your chin up! babies 2007 bring it on!

aunty - any news? have you phoned your clinic yet??

Is it me???

A couple of people at work know about the IVF as we all have work as a team and people know I've been off and will be off as they are very close work colleagues of mine.

So then what do I get just now? A joke email about pregnancy and babies...is it me or is that a touch insensitive??

:( :x
