Carol - Take some time to heal. DH loves you and this is something the two of you will work through together. If you are interested in donor embryos, someone here posted that they used a website called http://www.miracleswaiting.org. Maybe it's worth looking into. I also want to add that in this day, 44 is not old! Feel free to vent anytime, as we are all here to listen.

Amanda - I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Supposedly God has a plan and everything happens for a reason, but when it happens to us or those close to us, I hate when people say that!!! I agree with Lou that her doc absolutely should not have said worst case in 17 years! I hope she can get some type of insurance plan!

Katie - Congratulations! We need to have more people on here receive good news!!!

Tammy - I am glad you are trying again. If my RE ever sends that stupid letter I will hopefully join you on the April/May board. I bought some coq 10 and DHEA also. Took for 3 days and then quit. I am going to start up again tomorrow. What dose do you take?

AFM - My little dog is all healed. Yesterday was 2 weeks from surgery day! Tonight is my other guys 1st night home since May 5th! They're so cute together! I am kind of glad I had this break from IVF to deal with all of that, but now I am ready to get started again.

Hey all . . .

Looks like I'm with Tammy, headed over to the April/May board...thought my RE was going to recommend donor eggs, but she wants to do more one cycle and then talk other options...looks like I'm waiting for AF and then getting back in the saddle for IVF #4 ... adding DHEA to the mix . . . I shall still lurk on this board to see all of your fab BFP'S!

Aloha! =)

Tess: Interesting situation! What does DH think? I have 2 adopted siblings and can vouch for how it can be a wonderful thing and how there can be troubles. I think that if you can feel relatively safe regarding her prenatal health and her mental health, that getting a baby as a newborn is a wonderful opportunity. Certainly something to consider. A meeting sounds like a good place to start and see how it feels. Let us know what you decide!

Katie: WOOHOO!!Image :D :D :D And about the job as well!

Kynlee: 2ww is always nerve racking...especially as you get towards the end. Difficult not to analyze every little symptom/lack of symptom. Hang in there--beta is still a week away.

Leora: Thanks so much for being such an awesome list mistress and awesome support to myself and everyone else!!! Hoping that your next u/s goes perfectly. See you on the other side my friend! I never thought I'd get there :D

Greekchick: ET can be anywhere from day 2 to day 5 (even sometimes day 6). Depends on quantity, quality, and your RE/embryologists policies. Rest up and get ready for those embies to come home to momma! How many are you going to transfer?

Anton: Roots on your couch...cute...8 more days until your BFP!!!

Amanda79: Thank you! But, oh, my what you are going through. ((HUGS)) Sending prayers for your mom.

Carol: So very sorry that you had such a rough few days. All sounds very scary.
Hoping that it is implantation bleeding, but if not do not give up hope. This cycle may not yet be over. I had nearly given up last year after my miscarriage, but found a way (with the strength of these strong women) to continue ahead. Then, after 3 IUIs that "should" have worked, I thought we were finished as well, but then another door opened. I pray a door opens for you too. Explore all options before you throw in the towel. And, please, above all, take care of your health and hold on tightly to DH. (((HUGS)))

Kbillsy: Congrats of DH’s new job!! :D BFP coming around the corner...home stretch...

Rio:Thanks for continuing to cheer us all on! You are simply amazing. :D

Tammy: So happy to “see” you again. Been wondering...figured you needed the break. I will definitely be stalking you on the April/May board. 11dpo was the day for me...I think it is a perfect day for BFP for you too! ;-) Will do a little AF dance for ya...Image

Lauren: So happy to hear your furbaby is all healed. :D

AFM: Yes, I am gradually tampering off meds...my progesterone and estrogen are still “sky high” she said, so I probably don’t need any supplements, but I am a nervous nelly. Rash is gone. Gas is not. I am a bit bloated and cannot button many of my pants which is absolutely absurd at this stage. I am not gaining weight, but things are clearly being “redistributed” shall we say! And my beta for today...at 20dpo was 5522! :) That is a doubling time of 38 hrs, which I think is right on the money! I am excited, but still nervous. Hard to believe and trust that all will really be well after past losses. But u/s is one week away and that should give us some good information!! And pay out some bets!

Margi I am so glad everything is looking so good. Great Beta :D I can't wait till the ultrasound next week. I understand about having a hard time to believe because of past losses...I still can't believe it finally happened to us for real....now that baby Paul kicks and I can feel it it helps but we still have not told many many people and worry all the time. Everything will be ok for both of us :)

Lauren...I started off taking 75mg (or whatever the meauring unit is, lol) of DHEA in the morning and again at night and 200mg of CoQ10 in the morning and again at night. However, a few days ago...I added in a 3rd pill of DHEA. Call your RE tomorrow and get on his case!! That is ridiculous. I want you stimming with me!! So glad to hear your little furbaby is home and doing good now.

Deftonesmo...Yayyy for joining me over at the April/May board. When do you expect AF and then ER?

Margi...Your beta is sooo crazy high! lol My doc hopes to see anything over 100 at 17dpo...that means at 20dpo...it should be around 300!! lol Although, I dont really believe in all that...since mine was 524 at 17dpo with a singleton (Zach)...and a friend of mine was around 28,000 and something at 24dpo with a singleton. We thought for sure trips for her...but nope. Then last time her beta was only 200 and something at 17dpo with twins. Crazyiness. However, I am still saying you have 2 or 3 in there. It's also a great sign that your E2 and progesterone are sky high, too. Everything is just looking terrific and I couldnt be happier for you.

Anton...I am just sooo thrilled at how well your cycle is going...and you are going to be officially pregnant very very soon!!

Katie...Congratulations!!! Awesome news!!! Sooo happy for you!!! :D

Kynlee...You're almost there! Hang in there!

Anna...Congrats on finding out that you are having a little boy...boys are sooo much fun. :D

Hi everyone!

I went to the toilet a while ago and notice a pinkish spotting on my panty :( could this be implantantion spotting!? I have gas (that would be from the cyclogest/progesterone) and a bit of stomach disterbances but other than the spotting I have no AF signs! I am 9dpo and I really want to believe this is Implantation spotting! What you girls think? I never had spotting on all my previous 4 IVF's! never! Actully I got my AF a few days after my negative. I thought that the spotting (if its going to happen) is between 7-8dpo. if my calculations are right, since I had a 5dt and now I am on 9dpo the implantation must have started yesterday on 8dpo continue today and complete tomorrow on 10dpo. right! I hope this realy works u guys. Actually my AF is due in 10 more days! so this is very early AF symptom. should I lie down or something? would that help or just be cool. My instict tells me its implantation spotting but hey its only human to question that right!

So I am going to move on with personals now and keep up my PMA!!!!.... :)

Greekchick- Tomorrow is ET day for you! :D I wish you a pleasant one! How many you planning to transfer?

Kbillsy- Congratulations on your DH new job! :D ...the last 2 days I've watched "the fighter" and "the switch" with Jennifer Aniston TTC...very appropriate for the 2ww...mostly series from fox life a lot of E! and I am reading this book called "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides...a beautifully written novel...

Katieb- Congratulations again my friend! :D How did DH reacted when you told him! ...how did you told him? Image

Sunshine- I hope your RE appt today goes great and you get some good info and directions on how to proceed. I wish you all the best! Image

Nwquiz- Thank you for cheering for us! :D and as for nothing to report...no news means good news :D I wish you all the best!

CjinNC- Honey I am SO sorry! First of all I hope by now you found out that this is not AF but just implantation sign...if not then keep your chin up and try again or look for other ways! adoption, egg donor, embryo donor anything but to give up! Talk to your RE and see what he has to say about this and take it from there, dont give up! And especially please, please dont push your DH away! You are in this together! You love him and he loves you and this is all that matters! My DH is feeling guilty too for not having a baby so far b/c his sperm issue and everytime we get a negative he tells me that I should be with someone who can give me babies. and that he doesn't hold me back from being a mommy etc. This is killing me! and I am sure the same goes for your DH. What I tell mine is that I chose to be with him and him only! Babies or no babies he is the one I choose. and if we are blessed with a baby then this would be a bonus for me. Hold on to him dear and you guys will work it out. Dont forget you are both in this together! you are not alone! and he needs you as much as you need him! ((hugs))

Leorira- I am so glad that everything turn out well with you and your little beans. Everything will be fine don't worry. :D ...you have done an excellent job as the listmistress and thank you so much for that and your support...which I am hopping you will cheering us here until we all get our BFP's! :D ...I am right behind you!...

Amanda- I am so sorry about your mom dear! there are no words. Hang in there! I will have you both in my prayers that everything will be ok. Miracles happen everyday! don't forget that! and don't loose faith and try to be strong for your mom! ((hugs))

Kynlee- What's new! :D All good? have you POAS yet! have you! :D PMA! PMA! Image

Lou- Hi! :D I am so happy for you that the u/s went so well! You are definatelly growing a dancer there! All good for you my friend! all good! :D ...I hope your fingers are still crossed for me! Image

Tammy- Hello my friend! :D Nice to hear that you are doing ok!! :D I am so happy you are moving forward! thats the right thing to do! I really hope that things will be great for you from now on and you will be mommy again very soon! ..please dont forget to check on us! I am getting my BFP soon and I want you to cheer for me! :D ((hugs))

Lauren- I am so glad your little dog is all healed! I wish you all the best in your new cycle! :D

Deftonesmo- All the best to you my friend! :D I will pray that the next cycle will bring you your miracle! ((hugs))

Margi- OMG! margi! that is an awesome beta!!! you are planning to get into the guiness world book of records or something!! ...I think you are getting there! you've done it girl!!! :D You are SOOO pregnant and you are definatelly baking minimun twins! :D I wish you a healthy pregnancy all the way! and healthy babies moma! :D ...I am right behind you! Can't wait for you u/s on the 29th! it will bring me luck for my beta the following day! :D Image

ok, so I couldn't wait, I called my nurse at the clinic and told her this and that is happening. she told me not to panic and not to worry. the spotting is a very common implantation symptom but I should monitor it and if it continues until afternoon (time here is now 13:30) I should call my RE and report that to him. she said that he might want to change my meds schedule for more support. But overall she told me I should take it as a good sign and not to worry....so I wait!

....i have a good feeling about this! :) ...please let it be all ok and this is my way to get to my BFP!! Image

greekchick -- I've never had an IUI but I imagine the ET is similar. I've always been completely awake for ET and was able to watch the catheter enter the uterus on the screen when they release the embryos. It doesn't hurt at all and only takes a couple of minutes. :D I think it's the easiest part of the whole process.

Anton -- OMG.... YES.... I believe it IS implantation spotting!!!! That is known to happen most commonly around 8-10 dpo. I think you should start POAS in two days (if you are planning on it)!!!! Soooooo excited for you!

Annashope: Thank you!! I am excited, but nervous about u/s in a week. Hopefully that will go well and help things feel more real. I hope that you are feeling well and that your pregnancy is going along "uneventfully!" :D

Tammy: According to betabase my numbers are high even for average for trips (13dpo average for triplets is 170. Mine was 240)   , but as you said, sometimes beta levels are all over the place. I am thinking twins, but only an u/s will really let us know. As long as one HEALTHY bean that sticks--I will be happy! :D

Anton: I think that is a fabulous sign!! I am really excited for you....your BFP is on its way!!

Greekchick: How old are you? Just curious if they are willing to put 4 back. Although they will put more 3d embies back than 5d blastocysts. I am an "older" gal with history of failure (not any more!!) so that is why they were willing to be so liberal with # of embies. ET usual involves having a very full bladder--uncomfortably so--so that they can guide the embies in. For me, never had any pain or anything during the procedure. Very quick and painless. Here in the US you typically take a valium or something to relax prior to the procedure. Then you wait on the table for a little while--30 minutes or so--before you can leave to go home and REST. In my case, I went straight to acupuncturist first for a treatment before I started my bedrest. Every clinic is different there too...some recommend just "taking it easy" others recommend bedrest from 2-3 days. But whichever, do not overdo it, don't lift anything heavy, etc. Your ovaries are overworked and need to heal! Best of luck tomorrow!!! Try your best to relax and have positive visualization.

Lou- I am so happy for you, Its so great to see your Journey with your U/S it gives me so much hope, I can feel your smile from your post.. You are going to be a awesome Mom... And your baby will be here before you know it :) How is that heart doppler working???

Tammy- So glad to see you back :) You are a Ray of Sunshine :) I will be praying that this next cycle is the one for you, you deserve it...

Margi- awesome Beta, cant wait to hear how many you are having :)

Anton- Sounds like implantation spotting :)

Greekchick- Good Luck tomorrow at ET...

Lauren- Yay for starting back up :)

AFM- Just laying around... Going to Lunch with my Cousin today to get out for alittle while :) I am debating on poas, what day would I be able to do this?? MY ET was Friday (3day transfer)??? even though I still feel like A/F is coming she hasnt so maybe its from the progesterone, cause my period was due last weds but due to meds I figured I would be off a few days, but today makes a week late... I leave all my Faith and Trust in God... :)

GreekChick - Yes ET is extremely similar to IUI I only difference is that you ultrasound guide the babe's the uterus and in IUI they just shoot the boys up there....it is not painful the only thing that is uncomfortable is usually they like you to have a full bladder & with them pressing & poking around a bit it make you really have to pee! Takes less than 5 minutes and then they usually have you lay there for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes.....As far as bedrest most RE's recommend rest of the day after ET but then resume moderate activity....I did bedrest for three days even though everyone told me that there is no scientific proof that it is needed I didn't care it made me feel better......so if you can take the time off & relax then do it, it can't hurt anything but it is a personal choice unless your RE recommends different for you...

Anton - That is so implantation bleeding!!!!! YIPEE! When will you start POAS? I still do it everyday not much change in line darkness but it is still there so I guess that is all that matters...

Lauren - So happy your furbaby is healthy and been re-united with her BFF.....you must have a happy house!

Kbillsy - How are you feeling? When does DH start his new job? I always like starting new jobs, new challenges are such an awesome feeling! Good Luck to him!

Kynlee - You have the desire to POAS yet??? What are you today 10dpo? It is possible to see a little witty line....come on you know you want to do it.....just POAS! (Yeah I am a pusher.....sorry just want to see more BFP's!!!!!)

Lou - So happy that your little beans is flipping all around in there that can be nothing be a EXCELLENT sign...I stalk the after board too.....cute pic of you getting ready to play tennis!

Margi - My last BFP Beta on day 20po was 5221 and there were two so just maybe you got twiners? Can't wait to find out home many sticky babies you have!!!

Tammy - I posted on the other board too, but I am so happy you are back!!! You are a truly strong lady my friend.

Leorira - Glad things are OK with your little beans....bedrest is not too bad.....and it is for a good cause so just enjoy it when you have two little 2 year olds running around you will be begging for some bedrest! Anyways thank you for being a wonderful listmistress, you are excellent at it and you will be missed.

AFM...well I am really really trying to enjoy this but it is really hard now I am analyzing every single solitary twinge that happens, not sleeping well at all thinking of all the things that can go wrong or right & basically driving myself nuts. I POAS every day expecting to see the line get darker which it really hasn't so that has me freaked out, my bowels are in utter chaos with sharp shooting pains and now it turns out that the crinone is starting to irritate me just like the other stuff did last time....grumble grumble. I can't do PIO, well I could but I have a bruising condition ( I bruise extremely easy) and when I did those the time before last, I could hardly sit down, walk or sleep & my butt & thighs looked like a battle zone they were so black & blue, so RE said he wanted to stay away from that if possible.....UGH.....why can't this be easy.....I am loosing my PMA today......I just keep thinking what keeps happening & will that happen this time or is this the time I get to actually follow thru & bring home a baby.....
