Kat - what an unbelievable story!! That's amazing, and huge kudos to her for delivering her own baby! Just a couple days ago, the birthing center I'm going to be delivering at just delivered a baby born en caul (inside the intact bag of water)! I didn't even think that was possible. The lady did not even make it inside the birthing center and gave birth to her baby right there on the porch! Crazy.
Barbara - Brooke is gorgeous!! Love her little arms/hands behind her head pose! Too cute!
Margi - gosh, it's one thing after another for you, huh? So sorry to hear about all the difficulties you've had to endure lately and pretty much throughout this pregnancy. Congrats on reaching 33 weeks though! I hope you can bake those little miracles in there for a few more weeks - you're almost at the finish line, mama! But don't get there too soon! No cutting, okay?
Blair - Yes! I'm still hanging in there. I might be hanging in there for a while though, who knows! Congrats on reaching 29 weeks! I know how crucial each day is for those babies to stay snuggled in with mommy. Sorry to hear about those contractions. How far apart are they now? Are they painful? I'm not even sure if I've ever experienced BHs or if I'm just mistaking them for my baby moving, but I imagine the contractions you've been experiencing are no fun.
KJM - How are you handling the little ones? Getting into the swing of things yet? I know it'll be much different once DH goes back to work and your parents leave town, but I'm sure you'll be able to tackle it all. =]
Lou - Look at you! Already a pro! Glad to hear your little Chloe is such a good sleeper and you've got the schedule down! Hope you have a good time at the wedding! How is your incision/stitches? YES! I am officially full-term as of today! Now if only little Athena figures that out and plans to make her big debut.. More in AFM.
AFM - 38 weeks today and yes, still pregnant! Doing pelvic tilts have really been helping my back pain and I'm happy to say I'm not in a lot of discomfort, but boy am I ready to welcome her already! My mom just called me last night to give me the good news that she'll be able to visit me for a couple weeks after all! She does have some neurologic pain going on with her knees and feet, but her next doctor's appointment is not till November 1st! So assuming baby girl does not go past her due date, I'll have my mom to help us with our princess till at least the 31st of Oct. So.. I'm prayyying she does not go past 40 weeks! Drinking my red raspberry leaf tea and taking evening primrose oil all day, everyday in hopes of softening up that cervix! I keep telling DH that I need his *stuff* to help speed up the process, but I'm not sure he's up to it, lol. I don't blame him though, but still.. I want her out now more than ever so mom can see her and help us in transitioning to parenthood.
