sorry - I was gone for the weekend -- plus I won't have any more news until later today. I'm eating pumpkin pie leftovers for breakfast - hurray for Thanksgiving!

Christy - sorry about the fight with your husband. With everything we've been through, I'm actually kinda glad that we ended up with IVF pretty quickly -- adding the stress of infertility into your love life is soooooo awful. Having sex should be about being intimate with each other when you want to be, not just because you are ovulating or whatever. I'm glad you two made up. Decisions about when to stop treatment are always waaay more difficult that people think. I hope you two find a solution that makes you both happy. {{hugs}} Enjoy your romantic time :D Image

Nicole (blue eyed) - How awful to wait until the 8th to get your results. If you're anything like me, you'll do a lot of Google-ing before talking to the doctor. I hope you get them soon. Waiting is really the worst part of this whole thing. I'm sorry your inlaws aren't understanding - that must be so hard. I hope your MIL is okay - that's so scary. Image

Amanda - congrats on getting to cycle in January! I really really hope you get lucky this cycle, but if not, it's nice to know that January is soon!

Anton - thanks! So good to hear from you. Your tree looks fantastic! I love Christmas decorations, and carols, and all the 'holiday spirit' stuff - even though we don't celebrate at all! I actually miss a lot of that stuff now that I live here in Israel. Apparently, a lot of people go to Bethlehem for Christmas and there is a lot of stuff there, but I've never been. Dec 25 is a regular work day!

Margi, Barbara, Lou, Ryann, Claud, and all my cheerleaders - THANKS! I hope to continue to supply you with good news! Image

Neffi - yup - first time ever BFP from a FET! (here's some "little blue pills" for you! Image)

Jayne - you are crazy! A run before Thanksgiving dinner to 'off-set' the calories? I think you are missing the whole point of the holiday! :D yummmm..... Image

Felicia - oy! Bleeding is always sooooo scary, even when you know what's causing it. I had a ton of bleeding at 6w and 8w with my boys and it freaked me out! I hope everything continues to be okay. 12 weeks? Congrats! Image

Nac - everything at this point is both a symptom of AF and a BFP -- there is no way to tell! All the progesterone you are taking is what is making your boobs sore and the other things. It's way too early for any real pregnancy symptoms. Don't worry about the negative pee stick - you are super early. Try again soon! Image

Patricia (ninde) - I love that you can post from the bathtub on your tablet! I'm glad your trainer is working you so hard - that's fantastic!Image

Jen - u/s tomorrow! YAY! I'm sure everything will be fine. Let us know as soon as you do!

Tess - CONGRATS! Welcome to "beta hell"! I'm having a friggin blast (not!). Your beta is really close to mine (21 at 13"dpo" after a FET). The nurse at the clinic this morning said that is fine. I hope yours doubles like crazy!

Laura - yay! I'm so glad the follies are cooperating! Hoping for a trigger for you today!

HopeThisWorksM - yay!

Esther - I can't believe how far along you are! Congrats!

Blessed - I'm starting to see how you feel. I've never been in "beta hell" before but this low beta is freaking me out! I just want the next 2 weeks to fly by so I can have an u/s and see my little one with a beating heart! I hope Dec 2 comes really soon!

AFM - blood has been drawn.... waiting for the call.

I took another pee stick this morning and it's much much much darker -- I'm hoping for good news!

Morning ladies (or middle of the night for most of you!)

Tess: CONGRATULATIONS! Oh I'm so thrilled for you - congratulations, wonderful, wonderful news. And enjoy the overwhelm!!! Also, thank you for your wise words.

Margi: Hello :)

Gina: I'm so sorry, thats lousy, really lousy. Is it the uncertain economic climate at the moment that caused the decision do you think? I'm really sorry.

Leorira: Oh wow!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations - soooooooo delighted for you. After all your heartache this is the best news. And you have your U/S next week?

Maria: I can't imagine what yesterday must have been like. I will continue to remember all of you, and I know you said your dh was really affected by this too, it must be horrible for him to see yourself and your ds so upset.

Blessed: Lol, instead of you hiding shoes or clothes you bought you hide POAS sticks! Brilliant!

Christy: Thank you for your kindness. That was extremely good of you to go and have a look online. Yes, overheating has always caused dh's symptoms to increase. He was diagnosed 10 years ago and is very reluctant to do anything really, he was very depressed for 6 years and lifted after that time for about 2 years but certainly in the last 6 months its coming down on him again. I hadn't thought of a physio - that he might do because its mainstream rather than complimentary. Thank you again, that was really very nice of you and helped me a lot to feel heard. I really hope you enjoy your 'DND' day :)

To everyone else - I did post last night so I won't ask you all how you are again this morning - you might think I'm stalking you!

AFM: We have my uncle's 'month's mind' this morning - in Ireland, a month after the death of a person there is very often a mass for them and thats whats the 'month's mind' is. So just about to head there.

I'm bored at work, and Google is my friend/enemy. I just found this - what do you think?

In a nutshell:
Summary of Outcome by hCG levels

What this study found:

25 - 50 hCG at 16dpo -- Four women in this study had hCG levels below 50 at this stage. The researchers concluded that with these levels less than 25% would continue on with their pregnancy with more than 75% miscarrying.

50 - 100 hCG at 16dpo -- Of 16 women, 25% continued on with their pregnancies.

100 - 199 hCG at 16dpo -- Of 27 women with these levels, 73% continued on with their pregnancies.

200 - 299 hCG at 16dpo -- Of 48 women, 96% continued on with their pregnancies

Over 300 hCG -- All 105 women continued on with their pregnancies.

also, a song came on the radio on my way to work this morning - I like the beat and the melody, but the lyrics are a little bit of a downer. It's called "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry.

I particularly like this bit:
Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother
She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors, oh and
Life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain't even grey, but she buries her baby

The sharp knife of a short life...

Leora: WOOHOO!!! Yes, girl!!!

And, about the study? I think it is encouraging that your level is towards the higher end of not miscarrying. Did they exclude multiples from the study? If not, it might skew things.

Bottom line, you are perfectly preggo!!! Take care of yourself!!! Enjoy each victorious step towards your rainbow baby. Can't wait now for u/s.....(and I am so glad you went ahead with the FET and didn't wait longer) :D :D :D

Leora: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! As for that study... The test groups seem rather small to draw solid conclusions from.

We get to be pregnant together! Awesome!

Tess - Congrats :) Hoping for a big doubling number on Tuesday!

Leora - YES! Awesome news. I cried when I saw your post I was so happy for you! That is an awesome doubling time and based on that website odds look pretty good. :) Are you feeling any symptoms yet?

Sunshine - my husband is very close with his parents and so has told them about each step of the way. Whereas with my parents, I didn't want to have to tell them it did not work out so waited some time. But yesterday we told the in-laws it was 2 girls, so that was nice to share.

Laura - doing the trigger dance for you today!

AFM - I get to stop the Endometrin today. No more mess. YAY!
