Hey girls! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday, can't believe Christmas is around the corner! We had company for the week and now are busy cleaning house and winding down. I have a cold and hope Anna doesn't get it b/c we are flying north for Christmas and there is nothing worse than a sick fussy baby on a plane!

So I had a US today and have what he thinks will be a total of 9 or 10 to retrieve. We were so excited! I think I will be doing Hcg tomorrow or Wed. so retrieval Thursday or Friday. I have another US in the morning and he'll let us know for sure. I keep saying this but I cannot believe this is here already!

We tried to have professional Christmas photos taken yesterday. The place was running over an hour behind, crammed full of people, it was hot - we got up there finally for our photos and Noah freaked the f--k out. He started screaming. I am laughing as I type this, but it was so not funny. We were all decked out, made up, etc. Noah never cries. He is Mister Laid Back Kid. But not yesterday. So, we flippin left. No Christmas photo for us this year...at least not a professional one. Ah - who the hell cares. It is pretty funny actually. The stupid chick tried to dangle some stupid object at him and he lost it. Poor little guy. He wanted NO PART of that crap.

Tina~ Sorry pictures didn't go so well for you. Have you had his picture taken before? Was it new to him? Anna sometimes loses it when there is a ton of people and commotion around her. If she is not in the mood for it- look out! I decided to just have Anna's pic taken to send out in cards. I am not looking so good lately, not in maternity clothes yet, just fat!! Ugg! MAJOR diet after the birth of this kid.
Meg~ I have a finger food question. What foods did you start Lucy out on and how did you introduce it? How old was she? I am having trouble getting Anna to comply and I need her off the bottle before this baby comes! She LOST IT today when I put green beans on her tray. I mean sobbed, and she had them a couple weeks ago and loved them. I was very confused. Basically if it isn't cheese or something sweet she wants nothing to do with it! Help!
Fee- I am sending preggo vibes your way so start trying! After Anna I told the Dr. no birth control- we were going to start trying as soon as she gave the go ahead. She thought I was crazy but everyone kept saying try right away, your body still has all the pregnancy hormones and it knows what to do. I guess it worked!

Well my trigger shot is sometime tonight and ER is scheduled for Friday (not sure of the times yet, they're supposed to call me in a little while). My last ultrasound was yesterday. He said he was fairly sure he would be able to retrieve 12 good eggs, which of course is much better than the 8 we were expecting from the beginning! I can't believe by next week at this time I will be in the tww!

Nickster - that is awesome! The number 13 is our lucky number! We were married on the 13th and found out we were officially pregnant with Noah on the 13th!!! So, NOW I KNOW this is it for you!!! OOHHHH - and they retrieved 13 eggs from me...one wasn't mature and w were left with 12.....so this is it!!!!! I know it.
Can't wait to hear the fert report!!!! YEAH!!!!
Tonight is our first night out without Noah. Holy cow. Only took us almost 4 mos to build up to this. The neighborhood is having a progressive holiday party with 3 houses hosting and you move from house to house having drinks, appetizers and desserts. Should be fun. My friend's sister-in-law is going to watch Noah. She is a nursing student. I feel good about it. Wish us luck.

I just got my call.
Of the 13 retrieved, 10 were mature and 8 fertilized. So now we just wait (and pray, pray, pray!) til Monday morning which is when they call to either tell me to come that afternoon for a 3 day transfer or wait until Wednesday for the 5 day transfer.

We were out to dinner and back way too fast but I just had to get home to her!! Now my attitude is whoever wants to watch her is welcome to for however long they want!! I love my nights off!
