angela- yeah i was going to say i didnt see your post until now. =) Yeah im have a feeling i'm going to keep getting more marks but hopefully the cream helps a bit. Im thinking even afterwards to continue putting it on. it definitely relieves some of the itching. well looks like i was a little ahead of schedule i just put the base of the caring in the care the other day to make sure it was done in time and done right. you lost 17 lbs congrats thats alot.its just shedding off now. Oh no im sure your a little nervous with your RE leaving the practice. Im not too sure how much they would charge to transfer your embryos. I can only say maybe try calling that clinic and asking or call another clinic and explain how you need to transfer them and just want to know how much it would cost. i had almost had mine transferred when my RE died a month before my cycle the office didnt know who was going to take or if anyone was going to. so then we started looking at other offices. the staff was quiting at the same time so we had a hard time getting thru it with out being negative and nervous. but i didnt switch practices so i dont know how much it would cost. The breastfeeding sounds about right when you dring to dump and wait 24hrs and to pump ahead of time to have milk for her. Im hoping i can breastfeed but if your body doesnt let you then what can you do. i guess its meant for some and not all.i noticed not too many even breast feed these days. i've been asking around. im so glad to be done with them classes. what a relief

I've been getting some pretty intense pains in the lower abdomen. Im so ready for her to come out already.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I've been lost in babyland so New Year's eve sort of went by just like any other day - hee hee I didnt even make it to midnight, I was out at like 11pm. Ryan seems to wear me out sometimes, ok alot of times lol. We got lucky and he really didnt have any reactions to his vaccines ( I was bracing myself for the worst) he was just sleepy and a little cranky, but no sign of a temp at all, so dont you all dread the first shots too much. Last night I was looking through a toy catalog and came across this penguin that babies push and it makes music and sounds, so Ryan is sleeping in his swing right in front of us and I say to Chris that i'd like to get this penguin toy, Chris looks at it and says "No, it will teach him to hit things". Right as usual with his impeccable sense of timing Ryan starts to wail at the top of his lungs as if he knows that he was just denied this toy, so Chris (trying to be funny) immediately says "ok, ok, we'll get you the penguin" and do you know that he stopped crying like someone flipped an off switch? This boy cracks me up everyday with things like this, he makes me wonder sometimes because his sense of timing is right on the money, like when you ask him "who's the cutest boy"? and his face lights up and he seems to point to his chest - too funny.

Natasha - Dont worry about the L&D floor being cold like the rest of the hospital - they keep that floor pretty darn warm, I woke up the first day with my hair all sweaty. Plus you'll get your own thermostat in your room, so you wont be too hot or too cool. How are you feeling honey? Getting closer now..

Hazel - Exactly! I've been thinking there wont be a choice but to start him on cereal soon since he's only full for a brief time. It really feels like he's looking for a bottle constantly, thanks for telling me that it will level off soon since these bigger boys ( George, Ethan and Ryan) all seem to be on similar schedules. Oh my, George ( haha I cant call him litle George anymore, can I?) is 16.7 lbs? Whew! Are you having loads of fun toting him all over the place? I keep thinking of what these big guys will be like in their teens? I think we'll all be going grocery shopping daily to keep food in the house with them!
and hmmm, how many pairs of sneakers will they go through in a year?? lol. Already Ryan and his big feet are in the 3-12 month socks. How is George doing? is he cooing to all the shopkeepers in town? lol. Aw, he's our social butterfly.. How have you been? Super busy I'll bet, I have a guess that George is like the energizer bunny too, on the go all day long and wearing Mum out. Thinking of you.. xoxo

Riley - Glad to hear from you busy mama! Aw, Reagan is just adorable! Yep, Ryan just hate tummy time too, but he spends so much time on my shoulder and sitting up on my lap that I'm not too worried about his head getting a flat spot, you just have to try to make it through tummy time like it or not, so she gets to strengthen her back & neck muscles - I know I dont look forward to it either.

Gi - Yippeee! Thank your sister for getting those pictures sorted out! Aw honey little Miss Kayla is just too precious!! And I adore your pregnancy picture too, you and Jason look so beautiful and soooo happy! What a great looking family you've made! How are you feeling honey? Did your cold go away yet?
I cant imagine that looking after Kayla while you're feeling ill is easy. Hope you're feeling better now... - xoxo

Angela - Dont worry about not getting Cristmas pics, just take the time/date stamp off the camera take your pics and no one will be the wiser
Its so hard to get anything done when you're up how many times during the night and you're exhausted. Just a little longer honey, I promise it gets better. UGH! Dont get me started on Aetna! I'm fighting with them now about them not wanting to pay for either of my epidurals (but they did pay for general anesthesia) and now the hospital just sent a 5k bill! They're difficult and i'm not surprised that your dr doesnt want to work with them anymore. If you're not talking about a great distance from your old clnic to your new one, I'd go get them myself. The best way is to call your old clinic and ask what their embryo shipping preferences are, if they will loan you their cryo tank to get them yourself then return it when the straws have been transferred, that should be less stressing than waiting to hear that they were delivered and transferred to your new clinic's cryo tank safely. I know that some have used Fed Ex for about 300. if that helps. There are also cryo banks like Fairfax (out of VA) that charge more, but they're experienced with charging a cryo tank, and I'd feel safer with them. Other than that, how are you doing honey? Have you been getting any more rest? Thinking of you.. xoxo

Steph - Ethan too? Thats too much, they have the same ear sticking out issue! i'm left handed but I also hold him in my left arm and feed with my right hand, so yeah, his right ear is always the one getting squished. The Ped said thats it shouldnt be a problem as their cartilage doesnt harden for awhile yet and by that time they're moving all over, so hopefully we wont be complaining that we have matching babies with 1 stuck out ear in a year, right? Yep, he's blonde alright, I'm dying to know if his actual hair ( whenever that comes in) will be darker, I kind of hope so since his eyebrows and eyelashes are practically invisible like mine and he cant fix that with makeup like I do,lol. in some lights I see a bit of a reddish tint in his fuzz, maybe a little strwaberry blonde? Ack, the suspense is killing me! Hee hee, I'm so impatient sometimes. Argh! That woman with the jeep!!!!! How frustrating is that?? I sure hope that the hubby has paid it out by now, or they're just gonna be waiting and walking for awhile. I wonder if she had Andrew fix it because she knew that no car dealer would have let her take it before payment was in full and maybe she thought that Andrew would be convinced to let it go and just trust her for the rest?? Jeez, some peolple and the way they think, right? It just sucks that she messed up your Christmas budget at the last minute. I hope this gets resolved soon and without any drama. (fingers are crossed on that ) Its a good thing you're so sharp and already talked to them about a notarized statement instead of letting them think that its a free for all. Anyway, on to more fun subjects You get to have a nap in the morning? oh,arent you the lucky one? i consider it a good morning if I can grab a few sips of coffee and take Gracie out quick so I dont have to make her wait while I feed ryan for the first of "the all day snack fest" I wish he would take a morning nap! well, that and grow a tushie already - I swear he is so slippery sometimes because without that tushie to hold on to, when he wiggles around I'm worried he will just slip through my arms one day. How is Lina's tummy doing? Please say she's spitting up less now, please? Has the GI spc called you yet? I'm thinking around the holidays EVERYTHING takes longer, but thats no help when your baby girl is only getting to keep half the food you're giving her - sigh. Ok, I've written another book, and hey it only took me like 3 hrs with Ryan being watched by Chris who feels the need to ask me questions every 2 minutes - sigh. Much love to you all - xoxoxoxo

Hi girls,

Sorry about the size of the pics it was the only way my sis could figure out how to put them up. Thanks for asking starting to feel a bit better and so is jason but it was a tough few days! Poor Kayla has a cold too, right after i posted the other day we ended up in hospital with her as her temp. was high (38.5 degress celcius) and the doctor wasnt happy with it, thankfully she was fine but better safe than sorry. Despite been ill she has been in really good form lots of laughing and cooing and sleeping really well still up for 1 feed at night but its getting later so hopefully she will sleep thro. shortly. Oh and the little munchikin got weighed at the hospital and at 5 wks she weighs a whopping 11.5lbs!!!! I had to buy 3-6mth baby gros and i dont think they will last very long either

Katie so little Ryan has ye wrapped round his little finger and is gonna get that penguin toy  Thanks got Kayla the saline and its helping with her breathing though its so funny to watch her reaction when i give it too her she doesnt know whether to laugh or cry she looks so shocked! Like Hazel here in Ireland its not recommended to give babies cereal till about 5 mths they suggest a hungrier feed rather than cereal.

Steph. thats great the twins are sleeping thro. the night, i will admit the monitor is a great investment we got a new one yesterday (old one crap) and even though she is in her crib in our room if she moves or groans i just have to look at it rather than get up, she is a very noisy sleeper so it really helps, plus i am in sitting room right now and she is in bed and its a great peace of mind to be able to see her.

Natasha I didnt breast feed by choice just not into it. Oh hon you must be getting so excited!!! Hopefully not long to go xx

Angela I am delighted to hear Gabriella is putting on weight hopefully the night feeds will ease up soon, how often are ye up???

Franca no never had internal test, how are those contractions are they like strong braxton hicks??? My BH got worse after 37 wks i used to get so excited thinking this is it....nope cervix of steel i had!!

Hazel can you believe it a year today since you got your bfp!!!! Gosh how time flies!!!

Had a really nice New Years Eve last night, jasons mum came over and we cracked open the champagne ( no flu was stopping me from ringing in the New Year and celebrating what was the best year ever!!) Kayla was up at midnight so it was a bit emotional.

Hi Franca. What is an internal pre labor test? Is that the same as the ffn test? I'm only 10 weeks right now but ptl is always in the back of my mind bc of my history. I hope you are feeling well. And will send you lots of calm uterus energy. Hehehe.

Wishing everyone a awesome New Year!!!

Happy New Year mommies and mommies-to-be!!!!!!!!!!!

Wedding went well. The heels were fine. The bride was shocked I was wearing them. Unfortunately no one got a head-to-toe shot of me in heels. Maybe I'll dress up again this week and have DH take a pic. LOL

Katie- Ryan is such a cutie. I almost got the same ducky sleeper for DD. I had it on the registry. But I ended up with so many sleepers that I figured oh well. LOL Now I'm addicted to the new cute dresses at Gymboree. OH how I love that store. :) I think I remember reading something about waiting to start on rice cereal too. I just have no idea where I read it. I'm starting to get overwhelmed.

Franca- What is an internal pre labor test? I haven't heard of that. I'm sure I haven't had one though...no internal checks for me in months.

Riley baby- OH Reagan is sooooo cute! What a little doll. I can't believe how tiny she is! WOW! I had to explain to DH that headbands were cute little accessories that we can dress up our baby in. He wasn't thrilled. LOL He just does not get the whole cute little girl stuff. I think she's adorable though!!!!! I can't wait to find the same cute stuff.
Your Thanksgiving table looks beautiful!

Angela- That totally sucks your RE changed offices. Don't give up on a sibling. I'm sure you will get one wither through the same place or a different one. :) Congrats on losing 17lbs!

Steph- OMG I can't believe that woman didn't pay Andrew!!! WTF that is totally unbelievable. I hope everything has worked out by now.

Gi- I hope you are feeling better and I'm glad you were able to have a bit of champagne. You looked so pretty in that pic you posted. Was it for one of the weddings? Little Kayla is so adorable. You gotta get those pics up on FB doll! They will be bigger. :)

AFM- I have an OB apt on the 4th and then my pre check in at the hospital on the 5th! Is there anything I should ask or double check on? I got a Gownies labor gown for Christmas. I know..silly of me but I wanted to wear something cute to give birth in. So the one I picked out was a pretty purple one with big lilac flowers on it. Much better than the icky hospital gowns at my hospital. LOL But seriously, if there is anything you all know I should ask please tell me.
DH is on his way to Europe tonight so I have been working on the baby album and getting pictures in there from the shower. I still have to get a changing table and I'm still waiting on my glider to be delivered. UGH...time is ticking away and I am not feeling ready!
Much love ladies. XOXO

Franca - I have never had that test. I'm just glad you and the baby are ok. Those BH contractions can be a pain sometimes and come just as often as regular contractions and still not be real labor. You are almost there though. You have your surgery scheduled and I am sure if anything happens before then, that you will get your epidural asap in your case. Don't worry, everything will be fine. :)

Angela - How precious is she! Such a darling little itty bitty! You must be so proud. You have no idea how happy I am for you. All the emotion makes me want to leak out of my face holes! :) How is Gabriella doing? Letting you sleep a little I hope?? Have you started to call her by any nicknames like Gabby or Ella? I have a ton of nicknames for both of mine. lol I can't help it, I am a nickname type of mom. I have called Angelina by a few... like Lina (the most popular), Lilly, Lina Lilly, Little Lina Lilly Lady (try saying that one 5 times fast. lol), mini mouse, cranky butt, and a few others. Ethan has been chunky monkey, chunky butt, little mister, buddy, little man and Ethan Andy. :)

Pa - Don't worry about everything being perfect for when your little girl arrives! We have a total of 3 changing tables, two in their nursery and one attached to the pack and play downstairs. The only one we have used thus far is the one on the pack and play. lol They have been in our room this hole time so we have just been changing them in our beds with the travel pad. Of course, once we get them in their cribs (any day now) then we will use the real changing tables more often. As for the glider, if that happens not to make it, well... I use my body to rock more than any of the three rockers I have. lol I have two gliders and an antique rocker that my mom use to rock me in when I was a baby. I hardly use any of them. It's funny how much you want everything to be prepared and then later you realize, hmmm, I didn't need that as bad as I thought I did. There are always ways around it if it is a needed item. Like a monitor, still waiting to get mine so I can put the twins in their cribs. It's about time I think, especially since they are on decent schedules and are sleeping through the night now. They still have their moments where they want to cry for the binky, but I am hoping that that will stop shortly.

Karen - 10 weeks! How are you feeling? Any morning sickness? I am sure that this one will be a lot smoother of a ride with a great ending. Though I know you will worry, try not to. You have truly been blessed! I wish I were there to give you a big ole hug! The twins wore those cute little snowman outfits again for Christmas day. Angelina wore a total of three outfits thanks to her little belly issues. The other two outfits were so cute but too big. lol I wanted her to wear them anyway since she will be too big for them next year. I took pictures, I will have to post them soon or send you a few. :) How is DH and everything else? I hope the weather out there is treating you well!

Gi - OMG I love the pic of you and Jason! Not only are you two simply gorgeous, but the scenery is amazing! I am sure you are use to seeing scenery like that, but that type of landscape and architecture is what I love about your country! I wish the other pictures were bigger, but the one of Kayla.. oh my is it precious! I love it! Holding her like that so small and new... priceless! That is a good one to make big, frame and hang up on a wall where everyone can see it. Of course when she gets older she might not like everyone looking at her little tooshie. lol

Katie - I love reading you talk about Ryan. The way you describe things is so vivid. Not only is he adorable, he has one heck of a personality. You and he seem to be so much alike with the sense of humor and such. Just wait, I bet he will be just like you, in that aspect anyway, and you will hear all the time... You are just like your mother. lol I tell Alex and Andrew that all the time, they are so much like each other, it's like he turned to the side, spit and their she be. lol With how cranky Lina usually is, I tell her she is just like her dad. Every time one of the babies cry I look at Andrew and tell him... It's that PTSD sperm of yours. I know, bad joke probably, but we laugh. :) I do get naps in the mornings sometimes, but that is only because I choose not to get anything done. lol There are things I could or even should be doing, but I put them off for the sleep. Things like laundry mostly. I could even take that time to take a shower, but I normally don't. Is that bad? Instead I stay in bed and cuddle with the pillow and try to catch a few more winks. I know that if I could sleep the whole time the babies are sleeping that I wouldn't need it, but it's that whole mommy thing where I have to keep looking over at them. So Ryan still has no toosh? Don't worry, I am sure he will grow into it. lol Both Lina and Ethan have tiny little toshies too but the diaper really helps fill it out more. Just wait till potty training. You will get so use to seeing his butt in a diaper that when it's gone you are going to make tons of comments on how little his butt looks then. :)

Natasha - So... bags are packed? Nursery ready? All that's left is baby right? Getting closer... :)

Riley - Oh my what an adorable picture of Reagan in a turkey outfit with the set table and turkey! I didn't get any pictures of the twins for thanksgiving but I did get a few of Christmas. I will have to get those put on the computer here soon and share! As for tummy time, Ethan loves it but Lina, not so much. lol She cries almost right away.

Hazel - How are you? Overwhelmed? George must be a handful demanding all of mum's love and attention!

To whom I missed, I am thinking about you and hope all is well!

AFM - Well, as you know, we took Lina off of the expensive stuff that was suppose to be the answer to everything and put her back on the regular advanced formula. She got her appt with the NP and she suggested we play around with a few things. She wanted us to try Isomil or Similac Sensitive. Well, we chose the latter. She seems to do better, but still spits up, just not as bad and seems to be a little happier as well. We did up her Zantac to .5ml and I think that helped too. If she gets fussy and it seems there is nothing else to do, we look at the time and sure enough, it's time for another dose. She takes it and calms down fast. We also were told to give her two scoops of cereal per bottle. Well, that's too much!! Her little body just isn't ready for that much. It helps her keep it down a bit better, but when it comes to on the way out, it seems to be a little too painful for her. Her little poos are too hard for her little bum to push. It's a little too early to feed her stage one prunes or veggies to help soften it so I will just stick to one scoop. Ethan is still the happy go lucky little man he has been. He has graduated to the bumbo and loves watchign tv, though mommy tried to get his attention instead. lol He is holding himself up like a pro. He has even discovered his hands and other items in front of his face. He has all but mastered looking at his hands and getting them where he wants them, in his mouth of course. lol It is so cute to see him concentrate so hard, almost as if someone is pulling his hands away while he is trying to pull them near. He saw his foot today and stared at it like he wanted to do the same with it. lol Lina hates tummy time so she isn't quite as strong as Ethan. Of course we haven't really put her down for tummy time much since she has had spit up issues and has gotten it all over her little face which made her even more angry. I would be mad too with a bunch of vomit all over my face. So we have just stuck to tummy time being on our chests and shoulders. She is finally lifting her head well. She is still loves to smile, but her brother has caught up to her on that. They are both full of smiles. I still have yet to catch them at the same time though. They both love their bouncy chairs now. Ethan more than Lina though. lol I think it's just because he is a bit more advanced right now than her. He understands now that if he kicks, it moves so he spends a lot of time in it just kicking away. Lina still prefers if mom does all the work to make it bounce. I have video of Ethan in the bouncy kicking away, I should post it sometime. :) I just got a new phone so I have to get it off of the old phone. I finally upgraded to a smartphone so now if I need to post from my phone, I can with no issues!! YAY!

Now for me me... Just got my period again and sure enough, bleeding like a stuck pig again. When it began I almost thought that it was going to be normal, silly me. I guess that placenta ripping part of my uterus off really did some damage, at least as far as my cycle goes. I was late... about 2 weeks, but I bled so long last time that I figured it would be late. I had to get up quite a few times in the middle of the night to change tampons and pads. Even when I use double protection, I still bleed out. I sat up just to check on the twins before getting out of bed and a big ole blood spot was left on my sheets. Great! I did my best to get it out, but not good enough. Thankfully I got a new mattress pad with my brand new bed! So the bed was not harmed. lol I hope this ends sooner than before, I didn't stop bleeding last time until 2 weeks had past. Hopefully the heaviness stops soon too. Last time when I bled, I didn't have any PMS, this time however, oh goodness did I get hit with almost everything! Cramps, bloating, hunger and cravings. I think the only thing I haven't been is really bitchy. lol I am usually pretty good at not being crabby when the hormones spike. :) Oh, that lady who wasn't paying, her husband finally paid 500, they owe the remaining 400 by this coming Friday. Finally it will be over. From now on, everyone is signing a contract before he does work on their vehicle. He wouldn't have even done this one if he didn't think it would help Christmas. Turned out it didn't anyway. Oh well, live and learn. At least we didn't have any issues getting them to sign the contract after the fact. I am sure there are things I want to say that I am missing. Oh well, I will be back. lol Much love to all of you!! I will try to post more pics soon. :)

gi,

great pics! You look gorgeous in your pg pic and Kayla is such a cutie! she is getting so big! I agree with Steph, the background in your pics is wonderful!

Steph,
Sorry to hear you are bleeding a ton again. Have you followed up with OB again? Babies sound like they are doing wonderful and Lina is doing somewhat better with formula change.

Katie,

thanks for asking about me. I still wander in to this site, just cannot seem to leave it be. Your little guy is not so little anymore!. He is so handsome, glad to hear he is doing well (even if he is taking up all your time).

Natasha,
you are almost ready to meet your little one! How exciting!

Angela,
your girl is so precious! I am so happy for you!

afm, to all who has asked, my dh and I had "the talk" over the New Year as we said we would. We both decided NO on trying again. It just wouldn't be fair to my two wonderful girls, and I have been blessed twice and just should leave it at that. I am not saying I am not sad and grieving the loss of a baby that will never be (never even conceived), but I feel its the right decision. I am still going lurk and check in occasionally and hopefully see huge BFP's for my cycle sisters, yes lou and Tammy, I am talking about you! I know threads often tend to die out once everyone has had their babies (at least in my prior experience on the threads), I do hope this one does not and all you momma's stick together. Much love to all of you and give your babies a hug and kiss from me!
